These guys did a great job and were the cheapest option I found. I got a used piano off craigslist. They communicated with the seller day of regarding arrival time and had no trouble. Then they came to me, delivered to my 2nd story unit in minutes and got the piano right where I wanted it, easy. They do what others in this business seem to all do, arrange a 2hr window that minimizes back and forth on their daily route. So you get to reserve the date, and they'll call around 7:30am day of with the approximate time between 9am-4pm. Mine in Irvine ended up being 1-3pm and they were done delivering by 2:15. Wish I could give them 0 stars. Worst piano movers we have attempted to used. We scheduled them to move a piano but they would only take cash. They gave us a window of when they would pick it up and we were meeting them there because they take only cash. They beat us to the location and then because they needed to wait five mins they told us they wouldn't wait and wouldn't be moving the piano. Extremely rude and hung up on us. They were also extremely rude to the people who we were picking up the piano from. If you are being paid to do a job have some hospitality and treat your customers better. The way they treated us I would never trust them to move a piano. Please note since they responded and we can't respond to the review. We were in the process of paying for the piano. It would of taken 2 mins and they refused to wait and hung up the phone. Also the guy on the phone didn't explain that he felt it was an unsafe environment and instead was super short and rude. Found Pro Piano Movers on Yelp, and despite having mixed review, I contacted them to get an upright piano moved from Artesia to San Diego. I do not regret my decision to do so. Micah responded very quick and politely! He answered all my questions and quickly put me into the schedule for a two day move (pick up one day, delivery the next). They called at 7am both days to let us know when they would arrive. The first day was quick because they called and said they were arriving in 30 mins! On the delivery day they gave us a 2 hour time frame, and when we asked for an approx, they said closer to 10 than 12 and they were right. On the delivery day, Micah and 2 other fellows delivered the piano. They literally made carrying a piano up stairs super easy! The piano was placed exactly where we wanted it. The bill was the same price that we agreed on which was amazing! They were in and out (from ringing the door bell to leaving) in 10 minutes!!! Amazing! Not sure why there are so many negative reviews before... but from what I see with what they're doing now, Pro Piano Movers are definitely professional!! Highly recommend! Micah and Marvin were on time, courteous, and careful in moving my baby grand from my old place to my new home. My old place had two flights of stairs with about 20+ steps. They had the proper equipment to make sure that the piano was well protected and transported from start to finish: removing the legs, wrapping the piano with protective surface, securing it on the mobile platform and loading on their nice big truck. The same care was given when we got to our new place where thankfully there were only a few steps of stairs at the entrance. That made their job easier. Still, they cautiously mobilized the piano to the living room, using additional protective materials to make sure both piano and flooring would not scratch. They put the legs back on, even made sure they positioned the piano exactly the way we wanted (after a few tries). The whole time both gentlemen were thorough, coordinated, and even cheerful. Very professional, both on phone and in person--to think that was their 4th delivery for the day! But not once did the process felt rushed. I feel that their rates are reasonable, and would definitely hire them again for my future moves. read more
