I highly recommend Pro Piano Movers! I spoke with Mr. Marvin over the phone initially to get a quote. He was direct and to the point when answering my questions! I called other piano movers who could provide services immediately some quoted higher, some less, but, I decided to call Mr. Marvin back, and I am so happy I did! He explained that I had just missed the pickup date for long distance moves, which meant, I had to wait two weeks for the next pickup. Initially, I thought about going with someone else, but the wait actually gave me time to better prepare so the move went exactly as planned. Mr. Marvin explained exactly when he would call me with the pickup and delivery times. He followed through just as he said he would! I needed a Hammond C3 Organ picked up from a church and delivered to my home in another city. On the day of pickup, there was a three hour window. Believe me when I tell you, within the first hour, the movers were already at the church! I met two of the nicest guys ever: Mr. RJ and Mr. Edwin. They were professional and friendly at the same time! They handled everything, from opening the heavy double church doors to making sure they got all the cords, the bench, the bass pedals, the Leslie speaker, and the Hammond Organ itself. Afterward, they closed the church doors and made sure I locked them. It took less than thirty minutes, and they were out! That was on Monday. Mr. Marvin called me the next day and asked if I would like to have my organ delivered the following morning. I said that would be fine, which gave me enough time to drive home and be there for the delivery. Again, they were very timely, no long waiting or wondering all day! I was so happy and pleased to see Mr. RJ and Mr. Marvin drive up; it felt like I had known them for a while! They got right to work, brought the organ and all the attachments inside, put everything in its place, and made sure the organ was ready to be played! The whole transaction went so smoothly. I am so grateful I went with Pro Piano Movers. Mr. Edwin & Mr. RJ even gave me hugs. Pro Piano Movers, I highly recommend five stars! read more

My husband has hired Pro Piano movers twice already, with one being a recent move of a baby grand piano. Marvin showed consistently good customer service and ensured a timely delivery for a second time. He provided an accurate estimate of the delivery time and the process was prompt and efficient. Would recommend to anyone looking for a piano move. Thanks again for safely moving that Baby G! read more

Marvin and his team did an amazing job with a very complicated move. It involved two pianos, and at least 50 stairs. The pianos arrived in perfect condition. Additionally, they were the nicest movers I have ever encountered. I will definitely call them the next time I need a piano moved. read more

My baby grand piano was brilliantly moved down a complex set of stairs by a three man crew headed up by Edwin the Great. This extremely difficult move was accomplished quickly and seamlessly. Michael scheduled the job to perfectly fit into my timeline. I give the highest possible recommendation to Pro Piano Movers for their great prices, efficiency and friendliness. In short, they're the best! Ron H, Carlsbad, CA read more

The movers were amazing! I had a very heavy Yamaha upright player piano with internal automation mechanisms that made it super heavy to move. I'm pretty strong, but when I would try to push it, it just wouldn't budge much; not to mention, it was upstairs in my house, and my stairwell is not that wide. They were both the moving company that brought the piano in when I moved in 5 years ago, and the company that took the piano out when I moved out of my home and bought a new one. They are absolutely genius, and I'm amazed at how they were able to get that thing both in and out of this house with that tiny space on the stairwell. I highly recommend them. read more

I highly recommend Pro Piano Movers. I unfortunately didn't get the names of our delivery guys but they were so amazing and very professional. We watched them bring our piano up 4 steps like a boss. Marvin called me the day before with a delivery time of 7:30 and they were right on time. They were in and out within 15 minutes. I couldn't be happier with choosing them. If we ever need to move our piano again I will definitely be calling them. Thank you Pro Piana Movers read more

ProPiano movers were fantastic in moving my 75+ year old upright to my son's house. They were on time for both pick up and delivery and were very careful not to damage the piano or the walls moving it in and out of both houses. Pricing was reasonable, but the most important factor is the care they used in completing the move. I highly recommend ProPiano Movers. read more

Fantastic movers. They showed up on time, moved extremely quickly, were very friendly, and took great care of my piano.

These guys did a great job and were the cheapest option I found. I got a used piano off craigslist. They communicated with the seller day of regarding arrival time and had no trouble. Then they came to me, delivered to my 2nd story unit in minutes and got the piano right where I wanted it, easy. They do what others in this business seem to all do, arrange a 2hr window that minimizes back and forth on their daily route. So you get to reserve the date, and they'll call around 7:30am day of with the approximate time between 9am-4pm. Mine in Irvine ended up being 1-3pm and they were done delivering by 2:15. Friendly, professional, good with pianos (as opposed to general movers) - would call them again! read more

Fast response and good communication. Would recommend to anyone looking for a reliable piano mover

This company has moved a piano twice for me, and stored it for several years in between at a reasonable rate. Marvin Henson, proprietor, and everyone there are efficient, honest, understanding. They get things done with professionalism. Our piano arrived in beautiful shape both times, and even held very close to correct pitch/tune. As many have learned, storing a piano in your garage is the WORST thing you can do. They need controlled temp and humidity to stay beautiful. PRO PIANO is dependable. read more

Micah and Marvin were on time, courteous, and careful in moving my baby grand from my old place to my new home. My old place had two flights of stairs with about 20+ steps. They had the proper equipment to make sure that the piano was well protected and transported from start to finish: removing the legs, wrapping the piano with protective surface, securing it on the mobile platform and loading on their nice big truck. The same care was given when we got to our new place where thankfully there were only a few steps of stairs at the entrance. That made their job easier. Still, they cautiously mobilized the piano to the living room, using additional protective materials to make sure both piano and flooring would not scratch. They put the legs back on, even made sure they positioned the piano exactly the way we wanted (after a few tries). The whole time both gentlemen were thorough, coordinated, and even cheerful. Very professional, both on phone and in person--to think that was their 4th delivery for the day! But not once did the process felt rushed. I feel that their rates are reasonable, and would definitely hire them again for my future moves. read more

They were very professional and speedy. The entire process was very easy. I would highly recommend them and use them again.

Wish I could give them 0 stars. Worst piano movers we have attempted to used. We scheduled them to move a piano but they would only take cash. They gave us a window of when they would pick it up and we were meeting them there because they take only cash. They beat us to the location and then because they needed to wait five mins they told us they wouldn't wait and wouldn't be moving the piano. Extremely rude and hung up on us. They were also extremely rude to the people who we were picking up the piano from. If you are being paid to do a job have some hospitality and treat your customers better. The way they treated us I would never trust them to move a piano. Please note since they responded and we can't respond to the review. We were in the process of paying for the piano. It would of taken 2 mins and they refused to wait and hung up the phone. Also the guy on the phone didn't explain that he felt it was an unsafe environment and instead was super short and rude. Also we feel very uncomfortable that they used our full name. read more

Summary: Need a piano moved by experts? Hire this company. I needed a vintage acoustic piano moved to my apartment and sent out a mass Yelp request. Micah, the owner, was quick to respond with an estimated quote, a few questions to make it more accurate, and discuss my concerns. Less than a week later, I had two men show up at my door with a big van and the vintage piano. They walked the route, then moved the piano in even with a small hallways with an ease that left me in awe. Note: in order to keep it affordable, they give you a delivery window and map out the most efficient route for piano moves that day. read more

Found Pro Piano Movers on Yelp, and despite having mixed review, I contacted them to get an upright piano moved from Artesia to San Diego. I do not regret my decision to do so. Micah responded very quick and politely! He answered all my questions and quickly put me into the schedule for a two day move (pick up one day, delivery the next). They called at 7am both days to let us know when they would arrive. The first day was quick because they called and said they were arriving in 30 mins! On the delivery day they gave us a 2 hour time frame, and when we asked for an approx, they said closer to 10 than 12 and they were right. On the delivery day, Micah and 2 other fellows delivered the piano. They literally made carrying a piano up stairs super easy! The piano was placed exactly where we wanted it. The bill was the same price that we agreed on which was amazing! They were in and out (from ringing the door bell to leaving) in 10 minutes!!! Amazing! Not sure why there are so many negative reviews before... but from what I see with what they're doing now, Pro Piano Movers are definitely professional!! Highly recommend! Not to mention, they had the cheapest price compared to other places we contacted!! read more

This is a review for their San Diego movers. I hired Pro Piano Movers to move a stand up piano from one location in San Diego to our house which was about 4 miles away. They ( two employees) arrived within the stated time, and delivered the piano intact. The employees were courteous. The process was pretty simple, and expectations were met. - $100 for the move and extra cost if you have steps. - As with all services of this nature, but sure to TIP appropriately. How much you should tip should depend on what they're moving, and how difficult it was. I gave $10 each to each guy, but your mileage may very. read more
