Roy and his son Mason did a great job moving a piano that was gifted to me from Long Beach to San Pedro. They showed up on time, we're very careful with the piano and navigated it through several doorways and steps. You can tell Roy is very experienced in moving pianos. They came highly recommended to me by my instructor, I would recommend them to anyone. read more

I contacted P&O to help move a 1970's jukebox from my upstairs apartment to my new place. They responded next day and were very communicative and fast at getting a date and time scheduled to help. The entire process took about 30 minutes. Roy and his partner handled the jukebox with such care. I would 100% recommend them to help move anything as the jukebox belonged to my late father and was very sentimental to me. They truly were the best. Thank you again P&O! read more

There is nothing bad to say about Roy and his team. We needed a piano moved from one house to another and our friend who is a piano teacher recommended P&O Movers. I spoke to Roy on the phone and we were immediately able to set up a day that worked best for everyone. The day off I received a text with the time frame and then another text 30 minutes before they arrived. Pricing as great and Roy was so pleasant. Piano arrived in wonderful shape. I absolutely recommend P&O Movers read more

They moved my family's 60 year old piano today with no problems or damage to the piano. The whole process was easy and the price was fair and reasonable. I would recommend them. Movers Roy and Anthony were kind and friendly. Also if you have any stairs make sure to mention that. read more

I hired P & O to move a Weber grand with the South Bay a few months ago, and they made a job I was nervous about look routine. Booking was easy, I got a quote over the phone with no surprise add-ons on move day. The crew arrived in the window they gave me and got to work: legs and lyre off, blankets and wrap on, onto the roll-y board thing, and out the door. They were careful with the doorframes and floors, not just the piano. What stood out is that they only move pianos, and it shows. There was no improvising or standing around debating how to do it. Friendly, efficient, and fairly priced. The instrument came through without a mark, and it held tune better than I expected afterward. I've already decided they're getting the call for my next move. Easy five stars. read more

Total pros, the office staff was responsive, helpful and friendly when scheduling. They were able to schedule next day, arrived right at the beginning of their two hour window. Their truck was branded with the company name and logo and the gentlemen doing the move had branded uniforms with their names so everything felt like a professional crew. They were in and out of the pickup and drop off location extremely quickly. The price was also better than other quotes I received. High recommend read more

P & O movers are the best! Both times I wanted my upright Currier moved, they came out within 2 days. The phone was answered right away by a friendly woman and they also gave me a courtesy 20 minute heads up call before arrival. Very professional and fast. Expect to pay a bit (a couple hundred), but worth it to know my little piano was in good hands! They also have a list of local tuners which I thought was a nice extra. I will definitely use them again. read more

If you are reading this review and looking for either a piano or organ mover. Look no further. Roy and Jack arrived exactly on time, with a 30 minute head's -up call. I needed simply to swap out 9x12 carpet from below the piano, which my chihuahua had interpreted as a gigantic pee pad. These guys were excellent in working together, strapping the piano, removing a leg, and lifting if into a dolly on it's side. They helped with the carpet replacement (so Unnecessary - I could have done it !) and placed piano back in place. These guys are GREAT- probably the absolute best of service people I ever lifted from Yelp. Thanks guys, and thanks to owner and management for doing everything you said you would do. read more

I had to have a Baldwin upright piano moved from one house to another house shared on a common driveway. I found P&O movers on yelp and saw their high ratings and reviews. I called them and arranged a time for the move. Nicole was very courteous and helpful. She even called me again when the movers were 10 minutes away. Roy and Dennis arrived. Both were extremely friendly and courteous. They picked up that upright paiano like a toy and loaded it on a very nice dolly. They moved it across the driveway into it's new home. They did it without damaging the piano or the wood flooring. All this was done in under 10 minutes. Even the price was incredible. This service was worth every penny. If you need a piano moved, look no further than P&O movers. Thank you again Nicole, Roy and Dennis. read more

If I could give P&O Movers more than 5 out of 5 stars, I certainly would !! What a GREAT experience it was. From the start of the booking, through to the completion of moving the two pianos. We've used this company twice to move the same baby grand. They are fast, meticulously safe, and knowledgeable. They have the right gear for any situation, and they even provide great insight on how a piano can best fit into a living space. And we couldn't believe the price either. P & O movers were fantastic, thoughtful and very professional when helping us move our piano. They were very knowledgeable with pianos and when we should seek to tune the piano and basic and advanced standard care for the piano. Every piano has a unique story and our piano is no different. Our piano was one of the first purchases my mother made when she was able to afford it. Her love for music next level and always wanted her kids to play the piano. She told us this is the ONE thing she owned that we can never sell. She passes from Cancer in 2019 and my wife and I finally purchased a home that would fit her piano. It means a lot that our piano was delivered safe and sound and moved with care. Thank you again for you care. read more

I sold my upright piano and the buyers hired these guys to move it out of my place. They did a great job. Communication was great. They called me the morning of with a 2-hour window. When they arrived, it was on the earlier end of the window, and they followed all my directions and were patient getting into my building's parking area (my building is a bit of a maze and the callbox/gate doesn't always work well). The guy with the impressive beard was super friendly, and he and a second person easily moved the piano out. They're obviously experts at it. It was all very pleasant and went super smoothly, so I'd highly recommend them for anyone who needs their services! read more

YELP 100 CHALLENGE 2017 - PART 2: 35/100 It was almost impossible to believe the quote they gave me - impossible enough to sorta think there's gotta be a catch. I needed to move an upright piano from one house to another. P & O caught my eye because of the (near) perfect rating they had with many fellow Yelpers. So, I sent in the paperwork to request for a quote. The houses were only 3 miles apart, a couple of steps here and there. Nicole was quick to respond and was quoted "$106. TOTAL." What?! (No, seriously... WHAT?!) Before I got their response, one other company quoted me $160 + $6/step. Another quoted me $275 + $7/step + possible additional fees. I had to go with P & O! And I completely understand why they've been rated so well. Roy and crew were SOOOO good. They really are spectacular at what they do. I watched them carefully from the moment they took the piano out of one house to the moment they moved it in the other. They communicated with each other the entire time. They took real care of moving that highly-sensitive (not to mention HEAVY) instrument. And they did it with such ease and efficiency. (The whole job was done in less than 30 minutes.) They even asked if they needed to make adjustments before they left to ensure it was positioned exactly where I wanted it. Did I mention they were friendly and funny? Even my dog took a liking to Roy - only took a couple of minutes for them to bond! Flash Boy really liked him! OH! Mention YELP and you get an additional 10% off. Like they weren't affordable enough, they even have this additional discount! I seriously feel like I underpaid them... They were excellent. They were perfect. I would never EVER go with or recommend anyone else. P & O are IT! read more

I had been wanting to get a piano for my son because he'd been showing interest. With pianos being so expensive I didn't know what to do. I was on my lunch break over by Rancho Paola Verdes and I seen a truck that said they had used pianos for sale. So I called and the secretary who answered was SUCH A SWEETHEART and very professional. Her name is Nicole and that's where this wonderful experience started!!! I gave her my budget and she set up a day and time where I was able to go look at some options. She was so wonderful and we were able to find a piano in my budget. We got a scheduled delivery right then and there that was very flexible with my schedule. On delivery day we got a call from Nicole in the front office with a two hour window for delivery and they also called thirty minutes prior to arrival which was amazing cause it gave me time to put my dogs away. Roy and Jessse showed on time with the upmost respect and handled EVERYTHING!!! When I say everything I mean everything. They moved the furniture for me, played with my son and made sure everything was set up perfectly and that the furniture they moved was where I wanted it. These guys moved so fast and swiftly I was genuinely sad to have them go so fast. The fact that they allowed my 2 1/2 year old to help them just melted my heart. They never once said he was in the way but involved him in helping them. Teaching my son a lesson they had no idea they were doing. This company is a blessing and full of angels with the upmost professionalism. They work with you and your schedule even with your budget. I most definitely will be going back here and HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!!!! read more
