Very unhappy with dip manicure. It's uneven, bumpy and I have dip under my nails. Asked to have my cuticles taken care of and they weren't. They weren't even busy. I've never had acrylics before, so I was a little nervous when I first got there. However, everyone was so professional and friendly- they made me feel totally comfortable! The gel manicure took the lady a total of 15 minutes. A MANICURE. I understand a polish change can be fast but this lady was rushing so much she cut my cuticles and made me bleed (see pic). If you like acrylic nails they might do a great job but they need more practice with dip nails. They seemed inexperienced with the process and did a step backwards. I'm sad that I have to completely change my review. I got a gel manicure and pedicure on Saturday May 9th. By Tuesday May 12th there were cracks and chips in each nail! I have NEVER experienced a gel manicure that didn't last at least 2 weeks, and this gel manicure didn't even last 3 days!!!!!!!!! I paid a total of $78, and I even tipped well at 20% ($15.60), so for a almost $100 ($93.60) I am stuck with chipped cracked nails?!?!?!? They are LUCKY I do not live in Pooler, GA or I would drive down there and have them completely redo my nails. I asked for a gel manicure, and in Atlanta that comes with gel remove (free of charge), cuticle nip, paraffin wax, and neck and shoulder massage for the same price. I got nada. Just gel applied to my nails, and apparently erroneously so. I own my own Gelish manicure kit that I bought off Amazon 2 years ago. I am not a trained professional, and even my at-home gel manicures last 2-3 weeks perfectly! I will NEVER EVER EVER pay for a gel manicure in a city I do not live in, because I need to be able to roll up in there 3 days later when the gel is chipping. (I do not do any hard labor nor have I cleaned anything. I haven't even so much opened a soda can with my nails, so there is no excuse for them to look so raggedy and damaged in less than a week. I'd expect my nails to look like this at the 2 week mark.) This is so unacceptable. I don't know what bottom of the barrel, discount, fell off the truck, gel nail polish products they are using, but they need to try again. Also their massage chair was weak. It just made noise, but I couldn't feel anything. The physical foot massage was weak, and I told her she could go harder, but it's rare to find a pedicurist who really knows reflexology. I can't remember the first one's name, and I was kinda rude in not asking the second. And I don't know how many guys work there, but if one of them does your nails, you have a pretty good chance of getting a nice manicure. In Savannah for a wedding and me and my daughters decided to get our nails done. This Pro Nails has such good reviews we went here. Unfortunately, it was the worse experience I've ever had getting a pedicure. First time she cut me with the clippers, I figured it happens sometimes. I got cut a few more times and then while she was doing the callus removal, she looked away and started scraping the soft skin on the side of my foot. I said "stop", I'm done. Put my shoes on and waited for my girls to be done. 10 minutes later the manager came over and offered to put medicine on my feet. I got a weak "sorry". When we went to leave, they wanted me to pay 50% of the cost of my pedicure. I made them call the owner and they didn't charge me. read more

So I have been staying in Pooler a couple blocks away from this nail salon and decided that location was key, and chose Pro Nails for a regular manicure. Let me preface this that yes, I may be slightly spoiled by manicures in NYC, so I knew I may have to lower my standards. I didn't realize I'd have to disregard them completely! There was not one customer there when i walked in - not a good sign already. The nail polish selection was minimal - no new colors or what I thought were pretty popular colors. They had some, but not a very big variety. The woman doing my manicure was very very nice, but I noticed steps for the typical nail prep were missing or even reversed. Cuticle oil BEFORE putting my hands in the water? No bueno. She gave a great hand AND arm massage but there were no towels to dry off my hands - you have to walk to a sink in the back of the salon and wash them yourself. When she applied the polish, she wasn't correcting herself as she did the manicure so my cuticles are stained red orange. Also, I got the manicure two days ago and within HOURS of leaving, two were already chipped and I didn't do anything that would merit chipping. Now, SEVEN of my nails have broken and are in even worse shape than when I went in!! The icing on the cake - $12 for a regular manicure. WTF? In Northern New Jersey, manicures are $10. AND for the price of $12 in New York freaking City, I get a hot towel pat down, a proper cuticle cutting (with no polish on my cuticles), a protein base coat and a quick dry top coat!! When I come back to Pooler, I will not be going back here. Sucks because the woman was seriously nice.. But personality can only get you so far in a service industry... read more

So disappointed. I was waiting on a friend to get her hair done and came into Pro Nails on a whim for a full set of acrylic. Tina worked on my nails. While the quality of the acrylic itself is fine, there were a couple other issues. First, I didn't care for the color of the polish I chose. It appeared lighter than I expected from the bottle, which happens and is no fault of the salon. To remedy this, I asked if she could do a third coat of the shellac, she mumbled something, and then never painted the third coat. I didn't want to make a big deal of it and decided I would just repaint them at home with a polish of my own. No big deal. Then, as I went to the dryer, I accidentally bumped my hand on a chair and damaged the paint on two of my nails. I apologized to Tina and let her know. She shook her head and led me back to the chair. On our way back, she said something to the tech working near her and pointed to me. I said "Excuse me?" Tina replied, "Nothing," and pointed to the chair at her station for me to sit, clearly giving off the vibe that she was annoyed with me. Next, she saturated her fingers with polish remover and tried to get the polish that bubbled up from the bump to smooth down. It wasn't working and she got a lot of polish on my skin doing this, so I asked if she could use cotton to remove the polish. She nodded, but then started to paint over top of the bubbled polish. I told her that I was sorry but the polish was bubbled and asked her to remove the polish on those two fingers and restart. She eventually did, but made it clear she was not happy about it and pointed to the dryer chair when she was done without saying a word to me. She warmed up when I was paying, but it didn't make up for the poor treatment during this exchange. I wouldn't recommend this salon to others, and would suggest those considering getting their nails done in this area to go to Lotus where I had great service and quality just a day prior to this whole incident. read more
