overall vibe was off, I was barely spoken to my entire appointment (literally less than 5 words) & nobody smiled at me even once the entire time I was there. the nail tech working on me had another standing behind her. They were speaking to each other quietly while looking me up & down & made me feel like I was being judged. Even apon leaving I said thank you & still nobody said a single word to me. Weird experience overall considering most of the other reviews I saw for this shop is outstanding. read more

I absolutely love Pro nails they are always kind, I have been going here for almost two years. They are the best at doing dipping powder my nails last a long time, they grow healthy and fast and they have the technique mastered. I love Vanna he is my nail tech,he make sure he has every detail down and gives me a laugh during my visit. They know you by name when you come in, even though it's far from my house after so many disappointments, I've choose to stick with the best. I had heard good things from two friends about this business and easily scheduled a same day appointment for an acrylic nail fill on 07/06/24 with "Vanna." The front of the shop was nicely decorated (I never made it beyond the front desk). My appointment was at 4:00 PM, I arrived at 4:07 PM. After being greeted, I was asked if I could wait for 10-15 minutes as the technician had to leave for something related to a car (I could not completely understand his reported wife due to her face mask). I agreed to wait and began to look at polish colors and approximately 2-3 minutes later, the same woman asked me if I could return on Monday as "Vanna" would not be returning due to the car matter. I advised that I could not return Monday as Saturday (that day) was convenient for me. She went on to say something about the car from which I interpreted as her saying like "you know, it's the car and priority." I am sympathetic to people who have car repairs, however, to simply minimize my time and effort to patronize their business for which I had an appointment (even being 7 minutes late) was unprofessional and off-putting. There were no other solutions presented, simply come back Monday. I gracefully left after saying that I would check their availability on Monday, but after much thought I have decided not to return to this nail shop. I left feeling dismissed and disregarded. I once owned a small business and very much valued each customer and their experience doing business with me. Perhaps, this business is thriving so much that they don't mind turning away business. I was excited to try this shop and potentially find a place that I could consistently go for service, but my search continues before even having providing a service. read more

Was in town for the holiday and wanted to get my nails done. Manicure and pedicure. Suzy was so great! She was kind, attentive in conversation and details. My nails look amazing! She recommended the dip powder. I've had it done before but I'm picky. Some people can't seem to do it right but Suzy did an awesome job! No bumps or issues. Went here for about 2 years every three weeks I won't name any names but the last to visits I did not get the color I picked out. Even when I pointed it out it was like she didn't even care. The first two times I went I had a fantastic experience. They were accommodating, did exactly what I wanted & it was clean. However, the third and most recent time I went, I got someone else who didn't seem to know what they were doing & my dip/powder nail fell off in three days. The only place in Kc I will go! They are very friendly, speak to you in English, make you laugh and include everyone in the salon. After you've been a few times they greet you with your first name. I recommend an appointment as they do get busy and you could wait awhile if you're a walk in. read more

The woman who did my nails was nice but my manicure was nothing special. Other places will give you a short massage with lotion but here they just throw the nail polish on dry hands and send you on your way. We made an appointment for three but our third waited for so long she decided to just leave. We came together to have a fun girls day and instead were left sitting their wondering, when/ how they were going to get to all of us. They clearly have a scheduling problem. Overall, a total waste of money since we could've done the same thing at home and had more fun. You'll enjoy this place a lot more if you're coming alone. read more

I've been a repeat customer for more than 2 years and I always tip very well. I have had a couple of instances of rudeness from the main guy who sits in the first chair but I've have let it slide. Today I went in there not knowing that they closed at 5:00 and asked how long of a wait there was. The same guy told me to go home, they were closed. At first I thought he was joking because who says that to a customer. I asked him to repeat it and again he told me to go home.
