    inspo pic

do not go here unless you want your nails to look like crap. i wanted just a simple thing done for the first time in months and turned out absolutely horrible. i showed the nail art inspo pic and what i got looks like a toddler did it. i asked for square and half of them are crooked and none of them are even. i don't understand why it's so hard to find good nail salons nowadays. i'd give negative stars if it allowed.

    A nice file down!

My nails that I had done at another salon 5 days ago were too long, so since this was close to home I thought I would see if they could help me out. The girl said she couldn't see changing anything about the way my nails were, but was happy to make them shorter for me. I also found out about the options available for my next salon visit. I'm looking forward to going back! Fun atmosphere and really friendly staff.

Gel mani 1.5 weeks out. (Had to trim the edges by cuticle myself because of the peeling.)

When being seated, I asked the nail tech how much a gel mani-pedi would be. He told me $67. I had an appointment, but the whole visit took over 2 hours of my time because he was juggling too many customers at the same time. My water in the foot soak tub got cold TWICE. It has only been 1.5 weeks, and every single gel nail is peeled or has come off with barely any picking. I knew it wasn't going to go well when he did not use the nail buffer even one time. When he brought me the bill it said $76. What the?! I just said whatever and paid it. I want to support small business right now, so I just paid the bill plus a $20 tip (he was VERY nice when he was taking care of me); over $96 I paid. Not sure if I recommend this place based on performance, but it was very clean and the staff was very kind.

    My bleeding nails

DO NOT GO HERE!! I left the store with my nails bleeding and two days later my nails still sting from her pulling out the skin around my nails so aggressively... she saw I was bleeding and she kept going!!! I kept saying "ow ow!" And she wouldn't stop My nails were bleeding around the cuticles and days later they're still stinging. She put not even two coats of the nail polish & charged 5$ EXTRA despite the fact she had was so rude, had unsanitary tools, and an awful end result. I lost my money & my blood!!! Save yourself & go somewhere else.

What I believe to be bed bug bites after being in a pedicure chair of theirs

So I got a full set and pedicure here yesterday. After it was started I was sitting there in the second massage chair to the left when you walk in , I was ate but by what I think are bed bug bites. Since I was sitting there awhile I was bite 16 times between my back and arm

I went to Pro Nails with my sister in law to have dip removed and new dip placed. We did call about two hours in advance and the tech said they could get us both in in two hours. We waited for about 15 minutes when we got there which was understandable, but then were not sat next to each other. I did ask the tech if we could sit next to each other, and she rudely told me "No." I said to her that it would be nice if we could since we made the appointment together and also had my baby niece with us and the nice girl next to me even asked to move over and she just kept saying No. (even though there is two seats across from us open) the tech then said to me "you are both in the same room you can still talk". we then soaked our nails in Acetone for nearly 40 minutes before someone came and helped us. A different tech came to help me, and I did ask him if he could do my sister in laws first because she had her baby with her. My sister in law also asked if I could move down next to her where a seat had opened up. The first tech stopped what she was doing rolled her eyes and told us we were being extremely rude. I clarified asking how so and we were just wanting to sit next to each other. we then told them that we did not want our dip performed and would like just the polish removal and left with our nails as such. We paid to have the dip removed with tip was $30. I was astonished at how rude the original nail tech was even to the both of us, she never once apologized or even explained why she was unable to sit us next to each other (like I said when there was multiple other chairs with two open). We did go to another place in the area after who did a great job and told us it was their policy to sit us next to each other when we come in together. Would not recommend Pro Nails.

    French Manicure with purple instead.

My Step Mom took myself and my sister here today to get our nails done. It's in a shopping plaza next to Krogers and the empty shell of Blimpies. Today was my first time here. The guy who did my nails was cool, and everyone else who was working here was super cool and nice. This is a clean place and the prices are normal for nail places. I got basically a french but with purple and white tips instead of rose colored normal french. My nails looked decent, but I didn't die over them. The french tips were questionable but not terrible. My sisters nails could have looked better as well and whoever was doing her nails cut her. Which I know, it just happens but as a 12 year old she wasn't to thrilled by it. I also wish they had a bigger selection of nail polish choices as far as colors go. They only had two sections of nails colors. Half OPI and half random other brands. If you just need a quick nail color change I would go here. I don't have any other place to compare this to in Fairborn, but it's definitely not a bad place and is A-OK. It's clean, convenient location, decently priced, decently done and legit people working here and running the place.

Their color selection isn't huge, but I found a color I loved and was very satisfied with how my acrylics looked when they were finished.

Dayton area friends run, don't walk, to Jessica's Totally Polished Spa!…read more I had a spa pedicure and OPI permanent polish manicure today and can't say one bad thing about my experience. From the second I walked in to her earth-toned, serene corner salon I was treated as a VIP even though I was a first-time client. She was ready for my appointment on time (actually a little early) and invited me in to sit on the oversized recliner chair and make myself comfortable. I thought it was a bit strange because I was wondering where the water tub was for me to soak my feet. She noticed my confusion and explained that she does waterless pedicures for numerous reasons but one main reason is it's more sanitary than using water tubs...she also uses an actual autoclave on all her metal instruments every evening so if you're into clean salons look no further! But on to the good stuff...the pedicure was PURE BLISS and the conversation was equally as enjoyable. As she switched from foot to foot she wrapped my feet in hot towels and a warming boot that kept my tootsies warm and softened my feet and cuticles. The foot file she used on the bottoms of my feet was very gentle and didn't bother me one bit...I usually cringe at this part of the service because it's painful or tickles to the point I can barely take it. As for the massage...it was out of this world!!! She dimmed the lights, had me recline to chair (which also vibrates and warms -- but not in a painful way like a lot of the ones I've used in other nail salons) and I'm pretty sure I fell asleep for a few minutes. AWESOME! After the pedi I tried out the new OPI permanent polish. I'm not really a manicure person but thought what the heck. She told me she guarantees her work with this type of polish for two weeks so if anything chips or whatever she'd fix them for free. How about that for customer service?!? OK so wow, this is long but I am just so thrilled to have found Jessica I wanted to make sure to spread the good word. Get your tushes to Totally Polished, people!!! P.S. As I was preparing to pay we had a slight miscommunication where she had written down I scheduled a Spa Pedi though I only scheduled a regular (difference of $10). I didn't really care because WOW the Spa Pedi was insane...but as I was writing this review I actually got a call from Jessica and she apologized right away because she had checked her book and realized it was her mistake that she had given me the more expensive service on accident. She offered to make it up to me by refunding the money or upgrading my next pedi!! Seriously, who does that...AWESOME! Can't wait to see her again...https://www.vagaro.com/TotallyPolished

When I felt like my nails needed a break from the gel sets, she encouraged me to try the OPI permanent polish, which I have found I love. I've gone between gel nails and the permanent polish several times and she works with me every time I change my mind! I've brought my tween daughter in for a manicure and Jessica was gentle with her and attentive. I haven't tried a pedicure yet, but given the service and attention to detail she has given me over the past almost year and a half, I can't imagine it would be anything less than top notch!

Awful service. I will not be returning…read more I visited this salon today with my daughters, who are four and five years old, hoping it would become a place we could go together regularly. When we arrived, the technician assigned to do my nails asked me to sit in the back of the salon while my daughters had already been seated in the front. Given their ages, I asked if I could sit closer to them so we could stay together. From that point forward, the technician appeared irritated and her attitude noticeably changed. She handled my nails in a very rough manner, repeatedly yanking and pulling my hands while working. At one point she pressed the tool directly against my skin, which was painful. When I explained that I wanted my nails cut short to match two that had broken, she abruptly cut them down and left them uneven with old gel polish still on them. She then attempted to apply gel polish without filing, shaping, or completing the basic manicure preparation. When I asked if she planned to file and clean up the nails before applying the gel polish, she said she was just doing the polish. At that point, I chose to stop the service. She responded "okay," abruptly got up, walked away, and began mumbling under her breath. My nails were left unfinished, with cotton still attached from the removal process and old gel still partially on them. We paid and left to find another salon so I could at least get the manicure and gel polish I originally came in for... I do want to acknowledge that the technicians who worked with my daughters were kind and treated them well. However, due to the rude and unprofessional behavior of the technician who began working on my nails, we will not return. We recently moved here from across the country, and at our previous nail salon I was a regular and brought my daughters with me every time. The staff there were always friendly and welcoming, and over time we even built friendships with them. I was hoping to find a place here that could become our new go-to spot, especially since this salon is very close to where we live. Unfortunately, that was not the case. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this salon.
