I went in for an acrylic nail fill, gel polish and a basic pedicure. My nails look good and the pedicure was exactly what my boss had said, amazing! My only complaint was the staff talked about their client is their native language way too often. The staff spoke great English to all their clients. I was pleasantly surprised at the counter when I went to pay and it was $10 less than I had figured based on the menu. (The menu was not offered to me until I was getting my second service, my pedicure. I did the manicure first.) Over all the staff was very friendly. The shop was clean and they were very careful about cleaning. My nails look great. I will definitely come back.

So I asked him to remove the polish because I will only pay for the set not the polish. So we ended up going somewhere else to get them polished correctly. The salon itself is decent for its appearance but altogether they need to work on professionalism. The technician/owner doing my nails had a poor attitude when I would politely make references on how I wanted my nails shaped which I was very communicative about. She continued to do things how she wanted to even after I spoke up several times. She was getting visibly irate and even began to be rough at times. I also noticed tools were being reused in other words the were dirty and unsanitary. You're supposed to use new tools for each guest to prevent infections based on board rules. Overall towards the end the owner was becoming more rude, raising her voice, and overall unprofessional. When it was time to do the design, she of course tried to up charge from the initial agreed upon price saying because of my length and shape she was increasing the price. This was a concern to me to which I calmly asked why and she explained it was because of the time of the take down, length and shape (which I had to ask her to perfect multiple times and she still was incapable). I understood that the price she told me in the beginning was the set price which is why I continued to beginning the service in the first place. But she continued to become angry because I wanted clarity as to why she was changing the pricing. I asked that if she couldn't do the service that I inquired about why lie just to get me to stay instead of being transparent and she continued to become frustrated because I was questioning her honesty. Another guest came in and she wanted to rush me, cutting me off in conversation to which I didn't understand but all in all I'd advise to take your business elsewhere if you don't want to be treated rudely, finessed over price gouging, and the use of dirty tools. What's worse, is that this is my first gel manicure since the pandemic. There was absolutely no attention paid to my cuticles and I was told that almond shaped nails were extra. The tech sold me on something called top gel and I should have said no. I got my nails done for a destination wedding and I had to file the chips and cracks down all weekend.
