I came to this salon twice. The first time my nails turned out okay. I told the tech that I didn't like glittery polish but on my accent nail that he said "trust me" he used silver glitter. I also told him the shape I wanted and he told me it wouldn't look right if he did them like that. Whatever, it wasn't the end of the world. I came back a second time a few weeks later to get a fill and to replace two nails that broke. I used the same tech (Ty) who showed up 15 minutes late to my appointment (and no, he wasn't finishing another appointment, he just wasn't there yet.) I was there for about an hour and a half (for just a fill!) and he filed down my nails for AGES and they were much shorter than I liked and they were all different shapes and sizes/lengths. Honestly it seemed like he was drunk because he just kept doing the same thing over and over and didn't seem to be thinking clearly. I showed him a photo of the nail art I wanted when I sat down and he told me he could do it. At the end, when it came time for the leaves, he pulled out a sticker of a leaf and put it right in the middle. At this point, I didn't have any time to argue with him because my husband was waiting in the car with my 3 kids (ages 3, 1.5 and 5 months) and I had already been there much longer than I had anticipated. I was totally disappointed in the final product, and I should have said something immediately. They were bumpy, bubbly, uneven, super thick and just awful looking. I ended up paying and when my husband saw how upset I was he encouraged me to go back in and complain. I did, and after Ty messed with them a little bit and I still wasn't happy with them, he just told me to "come back tomorrow". I was so upset that on my way home I called them crying and told them how bad my nails looked. The manager told me that if I came back the next day she would fix them for free. So I went back the next day and told her that they were much too short and weird shapes (on top of looking like a toddler did them) and she told me that she would only re-do the polish unless I wanted to pay extra to get new, longer tips. I was shocked. I refused to pay extra for his mistake and the tech that originally did them claimed that they were that short when I came in for the fill the day before. In the end, the manager re-painted them for me and I showed her the nail art I wanted and she said she "could try" but I wasn't interested in taking any more chances, so I skipped it. Leena was the one who re-did my nails and she did a nice job, but I find it ridiculous that they wouldn't re-do them since their tech was the one who ruined them. I added a photo of what I wanted (the top photo) and the end product that looks like my 3 year old did them (bottom photo). All this to say, enter at your own risk. They might turn out okay, or they might look like garbage. read more
