I have went to Polished for quite some time now, but they have completely loss my respect and service! I went in to get a gel manicure, Tina rushed me through receiving a less than acceptable service just to see her moments later walking through the mall. I stated my concerns as you can see in the pictures and couldn't even have the decency to reply back to me, so I went in person to have a conversation and needless to say I am frustrated and disgusted with this company! read more

I am a repeat customer. Emma does both my pedicure and nails (gel) and I have never been so pleased with both nails and pedicures. Polished Nail Bar is organized and you are taken in a timely manner for your appointment. I always make appointments ahead of time so that when you get there, it's time for your appointment. Emma is so friendly and sweet and I enjoy the entire time I am with her. The services are flawless. I called and made an appointment for 5 pm, and didn't get taken in until 5:30 pm. I had soaked off my SNS at the bar. Jenny then started on my nails. She was rushing to finish. I told her I wanted almond shape, and ended up with one hand almond shaped and the other oval shaped. I asked her if she had a shimmery top coat, and she said she had a mermaid finish. She said it would be $10 more and I said that's fine. When she finished the service I saw her write down a different number than previously discussed. I went up to the front and asked about the price, and the lady said that there was a charge for the "nail art", a charge for the shaping, and a charge for the soak off. All together I ended up spending $75 on something that is FAR from ok. I have lumps and bumps on my nails, one hand is longer than the other, and this is AFTER the manager fixed them! Last Tuesday 7/13/21 I went to the polished nail bar at the meadowbrook mall. All I wanted done was the gel polish taken off of my toes and to have dip powder put on my natural nails and to not cut them because I've been growing them out forever... The nail tech started with my toes and ripped one of my big toe nails half off like a corner halfway in(not showing pictures because it looked weird and because I fixed it my self) he then wanted to cut that whole corner off of my nail and tried to shove a tool under my nail to do so before I started to yell at him. I refused anymore things to be done to my feet and it pissed him off... I then asked if I could have a different tech work on my nails cause I didn't trust him to and then was told no because no one else was free... even though there was 3 open people just talking and playing on their phones... He then started to work on my nails... I told him to not cut my natural nails because I had grown them out... he then proceeded to cut them so short that one bled and the other were so short you could see the pink flesh from my fingers... he then used the filing tool and cut me multiple times on my fingers and put liquid bandaid on them which freaked me out because who else has he used that on... he did 9 layers of the healthy nail dip powder and then only evened out with the file my right hand... my left hands nails look like bumpy bubbles... I've had them on a week today and they are chipped and pulling off. I don't do anything crazy for them to come off this quick.... I went to talk to the manager and he said "well our policy is only for 3 days and dip powder only lasts 3-5 days... but you can come back at another time and we will do a whole set for $85!" Then the receptionist was trying to make me an appointment while I was still trying to talk to the manager and was trying to make an appointment For 9 am in 3 weeks... I said well I work full time and I don't know my schedule that far out. She then said "well I don't know what to tell you it sounds like a personal problem." IM SORRY BUT WHAT?!? I never gave the guy a tip because of how messed up everything was even though I definitely told everyone there that it was messed up, and no one wanted to fix it... I've had the dip powder before and lasted over a month... that's how I know it shouldn't be coming off like this...and pictures to prove that yes it lasts longer than 3-5 days I should also add one of my close friends got a type of flesh eating bacteria from there (just found that out 2 days ago) because they aren't sanitary and don't clean all there tools... read more

My husband and I visited this salon last week. We both received pedis and I also had my nails dipped with a manicure. The female working on my feet was very nice until I told her that I didn't want the $65 pedi. After I told her no she had a bad attitude, didn't preform the same actions on each foot, and gave me a bad paint job. While the lady that worked on my husband's feet (who was receiving the same priced pedi), she went all out! When we got to the register our bill should have been $130, and the cashier tried to bill us $160. She walked around and came back with the final bill of $150, after we had tipped $25 dollars between three people. Within hours our feet were dry and scratchy. I have never been treated like that, charged that much ($100 max for the services), or had my feet feel that bad after a pedi!! I do not recommend this establishment unless it's a LAST resort!! read more

Well , after work I went there for fill in, the lady at the desk told me my waiting time was 20 to 30 minutes and almos 2pass and nothing happened I ask again and she told me 20 to 25 minutes more WTF!!!!! This may have been one of the worst pedicures my boyfriend's mom and I have ever received. First, when we sat in the chair they offered us a drink. She asked for a water and I asked for a soda. We never did receive our drinks. We both asked for a basic pedicure with French tips. They argued with us for not getting gel. Then the person who was working with my boyfriend's mom basically told her she shouldn't get French tips because her feet were dirty and proceeded to offer here five unattractive colors. I asked for the color card for her and they said it was only for gel even though they gave us the color card previously. They let our feet soak unattended in the water longer than they actually worked on our feet. I asked for attention to my big toes due to ingrown nails occasionally. He worked on one of them and made it hurt worse than it did. Never looked at the other foot. Barely scrubbed our feet. My feet are so dry because they didn't even use lotion. My boyfriend's mom described it as the fasted pedicure she'd had in her life. I'm not even confident the tools were cleaned as they did not come out of a sterilized package or anything. When we checked out they mentioned me leaving a cash tip (as if it was expected). I asked if I could just put it on the receipt and planned on leaving a minimal tip. He said they don't normally but wanted to know how much I wanted to leave. I told him I wasn't happy with the service and honestly didn't want to leave a tip. He apologized and gave me a $5 discount. I have never had someone ask for a tip and while I tip when I receive good service, I don't think a tip should be expected or asked for! We won't be back! read more
