I left a 5 star review before but with my recent visit I'm pretty disappointed. I'm unsure if they changed the glue they use for acrylics but me and my sister got our nails done here may 14 for a vacation to Guatemala the following day. The nails came out so nice ( nails are pictured) and normally our nails last a good 3-4 weeks! Unfortunately, these nails barely lasted a week ( which is how long we were in Guatemala for ). The nails started coming off about 5 days into our vacation. Considering my sister spent $100 and I more than $80 on our nails. I knew it was against our better judgment dropping in to a salon in the mail out of town, (and not looking at yelp first, sigh) but we took our chances. Big mistake. Oh, and one star just because I had to. The women doing our manicures were friendly enough but the results were pretty bad. The drill was used to remove prior gel and it was used way too hard on his manicure - divets in the nail bed now, not to mention the crusty clear polish and jagged cut/file job. My own manicure was bumpy, had noticeable thinner areas, majority of the top coat was stuck all over my fingers when I left. We called the salon after we noticed his nail beds and was told "we do our best" and no refunds could be made, we could only come in and get it "fixed." How are you going to replace a nail bed that was drilled through too much? Was told could not process refunds, I asked if that was posted anywhere, told him I was already on my way out of town and couldn't come back so just refund for the non-service ... you should not be charging for sanding down someone's nail bed ... and then he hung up on me. We'll do a chargeback but stay away! I get sometimes a bad job is done and it can be fixed, but if a customer can't come back (sent a pic on their facebook since they haven't claimed this one for obvious reasons) just process a refund to make it right! read more

I was really rooting for this place to like them! I went in on a strong recommendation from a friend, but was disappointed in my experience. I was getting a set of acrylics and asked multiple times about the price. over the phone I was told $50. Then, aftet speaking with the nail tech and showing her a picture of what I wanted, she said $60. Ok. But when I got to checkout they charged me **$85** instead of $60. This is plain gel polish with no designs, btw. It's really wrong and dishonest to take advantage of customers this way. My son was with me, so I just paid it, but it left a really bad taste in my mouth. They were also 30 minutes behind from my appointment time starting On my nails. The nails look ok, but not great. But don't bait and switch customers with pricing, that's very bad business practice. Won't be going back here. read more

I have been getting powder dip for over 3 years. I don't LIK to soak my hands in the acetone because it dries out my finger tips and makes my hands hurt. So I asked if they could wrap them. The guy in the front gave me a hard time about wrapping them. Basically said if I soaked for a few mins then they would wrap them. He lied! The girl kept soaking them and then started drilling to get the powder off. But that's what the polish removal is for... right? Well she drilled so hard she went through my nail! Then wanted me to continue soaking! I'm over it. I told her to stop. I let them finish the pedicure but that was not even what I would call a spa pedicure. read more

I received a gift certificate to this salon, so I went to get a mani/pedi. The place has nice decor, but I must say I was very disappointed. I've been to much better places. I think I was overcharged for what I received. Also the person that helped me asked if I wanted a design on one of my nails the way he asked I didn't realize that it would cost extra. Of course they charged quite a bit for a tiny little dot of a flower they put on one nail. (I thought that was pretty nervy of them not to say it'll cost this much extra, etc.) The woman that did my pedicure scrubbed my feet so hard that my feet actually hurt afterwards. I didn't even ask for all that scrubbing I just wanted a quick pedicure with a massage like they give you at other places. This salon has a couple of good techs but lately they have had inexperienced people who are extremely slow workers and just don't do a good job. I speak Spanish so it's not an issue for me, but the main techs they send you to are new and do not speak any English, only Spanish. Also, I told her several times do not cut my cuticles at the bottom and she continued to do so to the point where she cut my hand and it bled. I told the manager and they did nothing. The lady who did my pedicure polished my nails sideways (I have never seen anyone do that, it created weird line patterns and did not hold) with old polish that came off after one day. I went here for a manicure on break at work yesterday. The only option was old nail polish and wet n wild. Literally wet n wild nail polish. I was already there so I decided to get a mani anyway. The guy working spent 1-2 minutes on each single nail picking at my cuticles and filed my fingers while filing my nails. Was an extremely uncomfortable experience. After 20 minutes of that I told him I had to go soon so he switched with the guy working on the back desk. He painted my nails VERY sloppily and left to pick up a phone call mid manicure. Horrible customer service and horrible service. Would not recommend. read more

Went here today and was told to pick a color and got sat down quickly. I was getting a full new set of acrylics and a pedicure. A women did my pedicure and took care of me very well. One problem i did have was that the remote for the massage chair did not work. Again this wasn't a major issue. As i was in the middle of my pedicure a man came over and started to prep my nails for acrylics, he did not cut my nails or clean them out or anything. I had to tell him to do so. I then got my acrylics on and was sent to sit down to finish up. My pedicure looked great and my new set of acrylics came out very nice. The last thing that was annoying was that my boyfriend was charged extra money for a "shape" on the nail which i did not get. Sloppy manicure, sloppy pedicure, and charges you when you don't even get your full service. Usually I look at yelp before stopping somewhere. The one time I don't - I run into an issue. I stopped by Pro Nails being that I work extremely close by. I told them I wanted a "Spa Pedicure" with a gel manicure (It was about 755pm at this point). I asked the lady helping me "are you sure you guys have enough time being it's almost 8pm?" She told me they did. They got me seated and soaking pretty quickly though, however when I sat down I immediately started to notice how it didn't look the cleanest (this should've been my moment to run). Pretty quickly, everything felt so rushed. The gal doing my manicure didn't ask me for what shaped I wanted, didn't soak me, or anything. She quickly trimmed my cuticles and slapped polish on me. At the end of the manicure - I noticed that there was a big bubble from her just slapping polish on me and polish that was on my skin. I asked her to correct it and she had to almost re-do the entire nail. As the correcting was happening, the gal was lightly chatting with me (mentioning how she leaves at 830). Why have someone do a gel manicure if they're going to leave? As my pedicure kept moving along, I kept noticing more bubbles in my nails, more polish closer to my skin and on my cuticles, etc. I need an ENTIRE new manicure now. My pedicure wrapped up (this was also super rushed and didn't feel spa like at all. I only got massages for maybe 2 minutes max.) and I waited to dry. The man who works there came to check on my toe polish completely smudging one nail. I now how to have him re-do that. I asked him if someone can completely re-do my manicure and he agreed. He then proceeded to mention "come earlier next time". I told him the woman told me they had plenty of time, as I didn't want to be rushed and that's just what happened. He didn't respond. As I left, they still charged me the full amount and I asked again if they can correct my nails when I'm back from a day off. They agreed, so I will update once I go back. If you knew they were going to rush - why take me? Now I'm wasting my time, their time, and my nails are getting further damaged. read more

I had a discrepancy with how they did it, and went back to discuss this with them (it involved a swollen and puffy red cuticle), and the guy argued with me. I went to this place for a few years because I liked one person's service in particular, but I went to get my nails done and this person was away on vacation. To me, I didn't think this was an issue. So then the manager offered me to get my nails done with someone else but I didn't really want anybody else to do it because I tried it before and didn't like it. So I said I would wait for the person that I was used to, to come back from vacation. When I said this, the manager got very upset and rudely said to me, " if you go to someplace else to do your nails, don't come back because we don't care!" Obviously shocked with this sudden response I repeated what he said to confirm what I heard, and said "you don't care?" And the manager confirmed then proceeded to tell me to leave. read more

This place is the worst nail salon I've been to. They told me the wait for tips was 10 mins and 48 mins later I was still waiting. After walking to bathroom and coming back i asked again how long and he asked me what i needed done as if he forgot i was sitting there for 48 mins. After that they sat me down with someone who clearly had no clue how to do my nails because she was all over the place. I've been doing my nails for years and I know how its supposed to be done and that was not it. She kept getting up and walking away do I paid before she added my polish and the guy told me to come back to do the polish I said I'm never coming back .. worst experience ever. I would have been fine if I was told an accurate time so I can be sure productive about my day and the fact that someone who didn't know what she was doing helped me made it worst. I had an absolutely awful experience here a few weekends ago. I got a pedicure about an hour and a half before closing. I just wanted a basic pedicure. I ended up charged for a spa pedicure, which involves wrapping your legs in plastic wrap after scrubbing them profusely with a brush. They then layer them with hot towels and just walk away. After this they rushed through the paint job and didn't even clear coat the top. The lady then sprayed the tops of my toes with an aerosol dryer and said I could use the air dryer once but that they were closing and they couldn't allow me to stay any later. Awful experience. Needless to say, I should have stopped, the lady after I saw that the instruments use hadn't been sterilized and everything was dirty and nasty. That's not the worst I couldn't sleep last night,she had cut my toes nails very short and was rough. While , I was awake I email the management office at the mall and spoke with them today, they are looking into it. I went a head and call the health dept and reported them for unsanitary instruments being use. I've continued pain in my right toes and it's hard to wear a sneaker. If I could give zero stars I would-Went yesterday for a Mani/Pedi and the instruments for the pedi were not sterilized, chairs were not clean and pieces held together via duct tape. The nail technician proceeded to do mani and pulled out an already opened sterile pack of nail instruments from her desk. When she finished she attempted to put them BACK inside the opened pouch for future use until I said something. Overall - dirty, un-sterile, unfriendly and I hope I don't end up with a nail infection. WASTE OF MONEY and business should be inspected by Department of Health! read more

Beware of this salon!! They are THIEVES!! I went in for the first time last Friday and asked for a basic pedicure. Technician was very lazy and put very little effort into the work she was doing!! NOW comes the most disturbing part!! When I got up to pay, I paid with my credit card and then gave her a decent tip with cash. I also decided to take a list of their services home with me. Something about the charge didn't feel right! When I got home I began to look over the services and then checked my bill. I was overcharged $10 for my pedicure! I was IRRATE to say the least! I immediately went back to the mall and there she was, sitting on her chair, with a sly expression on her face, waiting for me to return. I presented her with my receipt and all I said was "You overcharged me $10!" I went to this nail salon because I had a gift certificate for a pedicure. I am not a spa "snob" by any means, but this woman working on my feet was so inexperienced I was wondering if they picked her off the street. She had no coordination whatsoever using the file (which she did for about 1 min) There was no doubt she had no clue how to trim cuticles. I'm all for people legally coming to this country, but could you speak at least one three word sentence to me for direction?
