First time at this salon and now I will stop looking elsewhere. Vinoo, the makeup artist understood what I wanted. I was so impressed by the makeup, service, and professionalism of this business. I had a great pleasure of having Sonia assigned to me to work her skills on my hair. The awesome results of my visit speaks volume at the painstaking care and pride they take in their work. Hair dresser Ana and Ricelli are great. Not to mention that you can get amazing nails done by Ricelli too and wax services! 5 stars for sure! This salon has definitely had a HUGE turn around. read more

Customer service sucks.... agree with recent post 0 stars if I could... My bff made an appointment for us to get mani/pedi's. Our appointment was for a Saturday afternoon. We were very excited after watching videos on IG about this new spot. When we got there it was empty and there were 2 guys. One guy was cutting someone's hair the other guy-who post videos on IG (possible owner/manager), was just sitting there & barely made eye contact. He was rude and arrogant. When we asked about the nail technician, the barber told us that 1 of the girls was out to lunch and the other was running an hour late. We were just standing there. The "owner" was more interested in his phone than attending to us. We just walked out... read more

I could give zero stars if I can. I called them before coming in and asked for a pedicure. When I went in there, there were 3 of them and none of them were ready to do it. Everyone was looking at one another. Everyone was ready to go home even though 3more business hours were remaining and it was empty with no customers. It was really disgusting. And when I was ready to leave, they didn't have the minimum courtesy to at least offer the services then. read more

Backstage is an amazing place! The staff is very kind and welcoming. The place is very clean with an overall great atmosphere. Sonia is absolutely my favorite as i have been following her since she first started doing hair. I trust her completely because she goes beyond my expectations. She is very honest and will have you leaving the salon feeling beautiful from within and out! she has such great charisma. As anyone can relate, its very nerve-wracking when it's time for a cut, but no doubt about it, Sonia never goes overboard. So you will never leave with your hair chopped off more than you expected. Sonia has transformed my brittle orange highlights into a beautiful balayage with overall luscious hair. She really takes her time as she works very efficiently , she really gives your hair some lovin. :) read more

I recently went for a pedicure, at first it was good, and then the nail tech was aggressive with the trimming of my cuticles and nails. She used a wooden nail stick and was poking along my cuticle line . Very painful. Now 24 hours after I got them done and paid 40 dollars , I have a very painful and swollen toe . Was completely fine before the appointment and now i'm in pain.

This was obviously a misunderstanding (she said "two" but meant "twelve"), yet instead of acknowledging the mistake, I was told it was MY fault and I had to pay a $20 cancellation fee. This felt unfair, especially since I've often been left waiting 30 minutes or more for appointments here in the past. It seems the salon values their time and money more than their customers'. My nails usually come out average, and the prices are higher than other salons that provide the same--or better--results. Between the lack of respect, inconsistent service, and now being penalized for their error, I won't be returning.

Backstage is an awesome new salon with a great atmosphere. The staff is welcoming and professional. The entire time I was there I was treated like I was the only person in the salon, as were the other clientele there at the time. they go out of their way to make sure you're comfortable and have everything you need! I went here to get the dream catcher hair extensions. Hands down best experience EVER. My stylist's name was Ester. Very sociable and kind. My extensions look beyond natural. I even forget they're there. They're perfect for length , volume , or even a few highlights without damage to your natural hair. Definitely would recommend . I also got my makeup done by Vanessa. I loved it. Makeup was amazing. Very positive vibes great atmosphere very clean very organized, owners are very professional made me feel like a princess the whole time. By taking her time , I really knew that she cared about her artistry and I was truly amazed and impressed with the outcome !
