When I arrived she was finishing up with her client once client left she started putting previous supplies away and sanitized her desk and tools. Due to an error on my end, I was in a bit of a rush and only had an hour and 45 minutes to get my gel set completed (this included soaking off a hard gel I previously had, which took a bit of time). I ended up going with a simple nude gel set, but the application was very uneven. You can see in the photos how the polish is thicker at my cuticle, and uneven throughout the nail. This caused the nail shape to not have much shape to it at all, even though I wanted a tapered coffin. I don't know if this was due to me being in a hurry, and I didn't have the time to ask for any corrections then. Even though I'm unhappy with how my nails came out, I would recommend this place. I've also noticed how expensive they are , i paid over 100 dollars for a set there and now at my new nail place it's 45 without tip. My nails have chipped so many times getting them done at D and D nails. I recently went for a pedicure, at first it was good, and then the nail tech was aggressive with the trimming of my cuticles and nails. She used a wooden nail stick and was poking along my cuticle line . Very painful. Now 24 hours after I got them done and paid 40 dollars , I have a very painful and swollen toe . My nails have dips in them, and one of them lifted straight off after 7 days. The acrylic isn't just uneven, it is over my cuticles. He didn't even bother to clean the sloppy acrylic off my fingers after he smeared it on. After he filed my nails, he didn't even bother to clean the bottom of my nails, I had to do that myself. I have been getting my nails done, and have been getting acrylics done for a very long time. This is the worst job I have ever seen or had done to me.
