The best nail salon in the New Milford area. Tried it for the first time for a holiday treat! It is clean and the quality of the products they use is excellent... no old polishes. Norma is the only technician I have met ever who can take off gel polish without damaging your natural nail. She is gentle and personable. She did a beautiful job on my mani/pedi and took the time weeks later to remove the gel carefully. Van helped me to spoil my young daughter with a holiday mani/pedi to remember. She was wonderful with her. Prices are fair and So glad to have found this place. Tip* Go at either end of the day for a quieter experience as there is a daycare upstairs. You also should make an appointment as they don't overcrowd this place to ensure a better experience. read more

I moved to Connecticut from Arizona and I was in desperate need of a nail shop. A friend recommended me to Lovely nails after I tried some very unsatisfying nail shops in town. All I can say is, WOW! This place is AMAZING! The shop is small yet cute and very clean. The staff is amazing and extremely friendly. Often times the girls will know you by name after two or three visits and will make sure that you get the nail girl that you like best. The staff is also very good with children which is a plus for many mothers on the go with toddlers. I was getting acrylics for a while (a fill is $18 and i believe a set is $32) and I never had a nail break from them. Recently, I have switched over to the gel and honestly I love it even more. The gel seems to stay shiny longer than nail polish and I usually only have to go back after three weeks for a fill instead of the usual two weeks for acrylics. The pedicures are enjoyable and you get to relax in a massage chair and watch tv. It takes a long time for the paint from a pedicure to peel or chip. I have had a pedicure last over a month and the design on the big toes doesn't even fade off! I take my little cousin here, whenever she visits me from Arizona, for a mani/pedi and she loves how she can get her nails painted just like how I get the colored tips on my fake nails. I recommend this shop to all my friends as well as customers from my work that ask where I get my nails done. I highly guarantee that you will not be dissatisfied! The shop takes cash or card (and does not charge you more for using a credit/debit card) as well as walk ins (but it is better to call ahead because sometimes they are very busy). Besides basic mani/pedi, acrylics and gel the shop also does eyebrow ($8), lip, bikini, leg and arm waxing. I came in for a mani/pedi and they looked at me like I had three heads and asked if I had an appointment. Um, no. Are walk ins welcomed or not? I am such a perfectionist when it comes to my acrylic nails. Lily is the only nail technician that makes the shape exactly how I desire. Prior to being a loyal customer of hers, I went to a salon and at least one of my nails would fall off before my next appointment. Lily's product is quality and my nails would never lift. She is so talented in her profession, her salon is very clean, she is very fast and she as a person is very entertaining and unapologetically herself. I recently moved for school and I miss her so much. I had to let my nails fall off because of my high standards. There is no one that compares to Lily's workmanship and I can't wait to go back home and get my nails done by her again. read more

I got a gel manicure and this shop is very clean. After each time he added a layer of polish, he carefully inspected and made sure that no polish got on my skin. I have been to many salons in NM, but I had not been to Lovely Nails because I live on the North end of town. A friend was getting married and wanted us all to have mani/pedis together. I have never had so much fun! Lilly is a riot!!! My manicure and pedicure came out great!! About 5 weeks later (yes that's how long my fill lasted- I pushed it due to being out of town) I went in, Lilly remembered my name and greeted me with grief (lol- where you been? It's been 5 weeks!!). Not only is the personality great, she does a fantastic job-as do all the ladies (I've seen 2-3 others)! In my most recent experience Lilly recommended a different gel polish (mood polish-gel) I absolutely love it!!! It's a wine color when warm and turns a deep dark red when cold. I have received so many compliments! She suggested that my next fill could be done with crushed shells in the acrylic - I'm very excited to see how it turns out! It's worth my time and the extra drive to see Lilly & her crew!!! read more

I had my gel nails done there before Christmas because I was going to a party . Gel nails have always stayed on until I remove them .These came off in five days they just fell off I would not recommend this nail salon . Do not know if the young lady did not use the right polish or was not using the right steps to adhere the polish to the nail waste of my money and time . Myrnie read more
