Unevenly filed nails, jagged edges, and when I pointed this out. The tech seemed extremely annoyed and proceeded to file over the freshly cured gel nails. Destroying g the cured edges. This makes your gel peel and chip faster. She also decided to use the spock death grip while painting my nails. Was pretty aggressive with everything except the 30 second massage. Where all her strength seemed to vanish. My toes were sort of fixed ... they were still very sloppy. Again she seemed very annoyed. I took some pics. Not a fan. Messy and rushed.

I returned to the salon on 1/5/26 to present my nails, prior to booking with a different nail salon to have my nails fixed, and I was told that there was no manager/supervisor on duty and that I should have returned after the first nail broke. I re-explained that I was in California from Monday-Sunday and could not return to have my nails fixed, and that I have never had this type of experience.The individual I spoke with did not convey any type of interest in addressing my issue and simply continued working on the client's nails, which she was currently working on. The nail tech was not at all interested in what I was showing her or explaining to her. I've never seen anything like it, in my entire life. I understand that having nail services done in the MKE area is extremely difficult, vs. the east coast, so I simply left her with "Your establishment needs to do better." Sadly I will not be back as we all try to find a spot where someone can take care of us and make us more beautiful, and locally support our businesses, but this is not the case. They occasionally stop to ask the customer "is it okay, are you okay", so they do recognize that we are there. I went here after talking on the phone and texting with Denielle about what I wanted, including pics of my current hair color and length. I was told I'd get a "free haircut" with color. I specified I wanted bayalage over my current color, and to blend out my roots, and sent pics of what I wanted. After spending 4 hours in the chair, the color I got was a brown with warm blonde highlights and was okay, but not what I wanted. During the process Denielle made it clear that she's not comfortable doing anything outside the natural color range, and what I wanted (strawberry brunette) was apparently too outside her comfort zone. She teased my hair during the coloring, and I have fine hair, so she spent a lot of time yanking out all the tangles out afterwards, which was painful and avoidable, not to mention DAMAGING to my hair. I've been told by other colorists that teasing hair during color treatment is big no-no. She put in a LOT of blonde highlights which was the opposite of what I was looking for, including in the under layer which was just weird. I had asked for bayalage, not highlights. I've had some great stylists, and I know the difference. I've had vivids and bayalage with multiple colors and have NEVER spent that much on a single hair coloring session. The haircut took over an hour, and when I got home I noticed that one side was noticeably longer than the other, and the "face framing layers" I'd asked for were just a single choppy layer on one side of my face. I had to get the cut fixed at another salon the next day, it was that bad. The worst part, other than being so horrifically over-charged, was having to listen to Denielle trash-talk her boss (the salon owner) and complain the whole time. 4 hours of negativity.
