I'm from LA, so I thought I'd give it a shot-- it turns out, the owner, Paul, is from LA (well, the OC)! Indeed, it is no coincidence that the shop is called LA nails! I've come here just once, but I am so happy; I've found my new nail shop :) I would recommend calling to make an appointment bc it's always better to let them know ahead of time (sometimes they close early and to minimalize any potential wait). The inside of the shop is minimalistic but cute decor, and the shop itself is clean (100 health department rating)! It's definitely not the best skill and technique I've experienced, but I left the shop so happy and feeling like I got my nails done affordably, had awesome conversations, and was in and out quickly! Awesome, awesome service! THAT is what I'm talking about when I treat myself! Go get yo' nail on, girlfriends!! :)

My time is valuable, but unfortunately, they don't seem to understand or respect that. I've been scheduled on the wrong days and at the wrong times, and I've even had appointments made with a technician who wasn't working that day. This has happened multiple times, and each time it's brushed off as if it's not a big deal. There have been several occasions where I've left work early, only to arrive and find out that I was either double-booked with the same technician or that my appointment was actually scheduled for a completely different day. In 2026 alone, this has happened to me approximately 6 times! That is way too many times to have my time and schedule treated so carelessly. The only reason I continued coming back was because I truly love the work my technician does on my nails and feet. She does an amazing job, and I've continued using her services despite all the scheduling issues. But at this point, I have to draw the line. I spend my hard-earned money there, and I expect my time to be respected just as much as my business is appreciated. With so many different ladies managing the customer flow, you would think things would be more organized--but unfortunately, that hasn't been my experience. ‍

I arrived at 9 am the morning of the wedding, and let's just say jet lag and other issues meant that both Emily and Emily had their work cut out.
