Sheeler Auto Repair has an excellent reputation so I called and spoke with Demytrius about my annual servicing. Since I use only Amzoil, Demytrius agreed to do the oil change if I brought the Amzoil in. I made an appointment and was out within 30 minutes. While waiting I met another client who turned out to be a long time customer. He couldn't praise the shop and employees high enough. I left feeling I had chosen my new shop wisely.

It says a lot in itself if I find myself on Yelp to write a review (and even then, unfortunately, I…read moream the one to leave negative reviews if I've had a horrible experience somewhere) so here goes! I may be young but I cannot even begin to explain just how many times I've been in a rut due to car trouble. My experiences at various places (both big corporate auto shops and mom and pop type shops) have always been nothing but awful. It's gotten to where when my car needs to be looked at, I'm left feeling traumatized and reliving all of the times I've been taken advantage of, belittled, or ripped off by every place I've been to. Seriously, a man at Pep Boys spoke to me like I was a 5 year old child and caused a scene in front if other customers when I simply asked to make an appointment for a tire change. That's only one of over 100 experiences I've had. So when Triple A told me I needed to get a shift cable replaced, I immediately went into panic knowing I'd have to brace myself for wherever I went. I'm born and raised in the central Florida area and moved to Apopka almost 3 years ago. There's multiple auto shops around but I'd never been to Sheeler before until now. I came in and was out within an HOUR. Sadly, as a young woman, I never feel comfortable going alone to auto repair shops (that's another story for a different day!). I've learned to expect the worst. But this was by far the greatest experience. Everyone was super friendly, communicative and respectful. On my way home I immediately called several friends (other single women who have unfortunately had negative experiences with auto shops) and recommended Sheeler. I will 100000000% be coming back for any issues with my vehicle. Thank you sooooooo much for being honest and friendly. Words can't begin to describe what a relief this experience was!

That combined with the coupon discounts they send on a regular basis make it a win-win when it comes to value of the service for the money. I would definitely recommend them.

I had two separate interactions at two different locations & both times were the complete opposite of that. As a young woman with minimal knowledge of car servicing, vehicle maintenance is already more challenging & intimidating to navigate alone & that's something everyone in this industry is well aware of. Instead of being met with patience or friendliness, I was met with disdain at every turn. Both locations & two different reps that were unhelpful, unfriendly, & uninterested. They've been in business since 1921 on the idea that "the key to business is always doing right by your customer." At both locations, that principle was nowhere to be found. A mission statement means nothing if your people have no interest in upholding it. I came in ready to spend money on a repair & getting basic information was like pulling teeth & they gave off the impression they just don't want to deal with people. called Mavis Tires & immediately met with a helpful, knowledgeable rep who cared, was eager to get me in, & even offered transportation services during the maintenance period. That's what customer service looks like.
