Had an appointment for aeration and overseeding I asked if the technician could call or text when they were on their way as I just got a "mid to late afternoon" window with no definitive time I was told the techs can't call or text I asked if they had cell phones and was told they had cell phones but the app they use won't allow them to call customers (I find this difficult to believe) So my wife waited until 4:00 and they hadn't showed up so I contacted the office since it was going to be dark in an hour I was told they had one other stop before ours. Well, they never showed up. So I called their office this morning and was told "it was dark so they didn't come" I said couldn't someone from your office call us out of courtesy to let us know? He said "we close at five" I asked them why didn't they call me 5 minutes before 5 to let me know Didn't answer me just said "we can schedule you next Tuesday" I asked if they could come out sooner since they stood me up and he said "we are only in your area on Tuesday" I asked if they could schedule me earlier in the day to avoid this happening again and was told "we can't guarantee that" No apology, no indication that they would improve communication with their customers and not even a time window for my appointment They are unimaginably unprofessional read more

PHIL the owner doesn't care about facts or making situations right. Anyone else have horrible service with this company? We went through the port orchard branch. It took countless calls to even get them to sign us up. When they FINALLY did after about 5/6 attempts from me! I know thy should have been a red flag but I have an HOA and I just wanted my lawn mowed! Well they sent their guys out to start our service but they had never signed us up! So I called and the guy who answered the phone was SURPRISED there was a crew at my house! So he had them stop half way through and said he would send them out later in the week. THEY NEVER CAME BACK! Now I'm getting harassed multiple times a day for a bill of service that was never completed or approved. They have told me multiple times our bill will be taken care of since there wasn't any services completed. Then they charge my card and then they REFUNDED it. Now they are calling me again!! ENOUGH! While they were relatively reliable, the service is quite expensive. After a series of problems (broke my water spigot twice, wouldn't do the weed whacking if they didn't feel it was necessary -- apparently it didn't matter what I thought or that I was paying for service I wasn't getting, serious lack of communication about when they couldn't show up), I canceled my service and outlined my issues in an email. I received this response the next day: "Appreciate you letting us know, we wish you well in finding another vendor, we apologize that once in a while we have issues arise, on 8/7/25 we had our lead almost die due to being stung 40+ times. But, we also realize this is not your issue and you could care less." Umm, how would I know since you didn't tell me? Completely uncalled for and unprofessional. read more

No urgency, grass dead, scheduled me out 3+ weeks...no show, no email and no call. Called back Sept. 6th, sorry, but can't help you. They'll send an email for next available appointment. I should have written this a week ago, oh well. When these rocket scientists were out at my neighbours home doing their yard, part of the crew was taking off to work at another residence. When they were trying to leave the home they were at they left the fertiliser spreader out and the tailgate down on the truck. Made quite a racquet when they were leaving, the scraping of the spreader and the tailgate being drug on the street. In doing this they dumped much of the fertiliser out. I walked over and asked them to please clean it up and not to put it at any house or the part because we didn't know what poisons were in the spreader. WELL, their idea of cleaning up was spreading it into the street. I am very opposed to this because #1 that is careless. #2 I had a family pet die because of carelessness of leaving poisons out. Really nice that your rocket scientists have any consideration for all the animal life we have in our area. Good luck if you hire them, they are terrible and only have done a portion of the work when we had hired them for our housing area. Don't worry I have documentation to back up the last statement. Very Unfortunate!, We thought our dealing with Ezra was going to lead us on a long term contractual relationship that would be fruitful for both parties. However, dealing with Ezra and whoever the owner is in the office are two different things. The price and service was agreeable at first and they initI ally did the job we both had agreed upon. However, the last couple months they have failed to do the backyard, but still billed us for the full service. When this was brought to their attention they said to pay the bill and they would do it next time. Since when is it ok to pay for services not rendered? Then their most recent visit again didn't provide the full services as agreed upon. I paid the invoice short for both times they did not perform what they had agreed to do. They have been uninterested in resolving this problem so we will find a real reliable and professional company to deal with. Don't waste your time with this company unless you want to have to hold their hand when providing the services they agree to. They also agree to pricing initially only to look for any little thing to increase their pricing. read more

Ezra and his team are extremely unprofessional. They are untimely, non-responsive, and when they show up to do what they're supposed to, its subpar and unacceptable. I think ezra uses drugs, not sure though. Anyone looking at using them, do yourself a favor and stear clear. read more

This is a difficult review to write. My experience with their office staff & workers was positive. I would have recommended the company but for the estimator who made the wrong recommendation and scared me into accepting it, and the manager who refused to acknowledge the validity of my complaint or offer any remedy whatsoever. I contacted them for an estimate on trimming 3 overgrown trees and doing some minor landscaping work. Their estimator, who seemed like a nice enough guy, frightened me into believing that the tree roots would soon grow so large that they would compromise the patio and possibly even the foundation, and that the trees might fall on the house. Afraid of dire consequences if I did not follow his recommendation, I agreed to have the trees removed. Because this company already provided services to my community and thus was a known entity, I did not get another estimate. And because they were professionals, I relied on their advice - because isn't that why we hire professionals in the first place? Please learn from my mistake and do not do the same. I learned after the trees were removed that the fear the estimator created was unfounded: that type of tree grows small, shallow roots, and only poses a threat of toppling over if not trimmed. A little internet research, once I knew the name of the tree, confirmed that. In fact, our County required that type of tree to be planted when the house was built. In other words, the trees did not need to be removed, and any risk of falling over would have been mitigated had the company done the work I asked them to do - trim the trees. Now I am out a lot of money for the work plus tips to the workers, and still have to spend more money to replace perfectly good trees that should still be here. When I contacted them about this, they stuck to their story that the trees/roots were a risk and refused to do anything about it. I simply cannot recommend a company that, whether innocently or intentionally, makes a mistake and then refuses to make it right. read more

We receive services from Pro Lawn Care through our HOA community. For the past 2 years I have not had any issues or reason to deal with the company. Just recently, our HOA extended their contract with them. Since then, they have hired multiple new people, who seem inexperience. First day on the job, a worker was cutting the grass, and a rock hit my husband's brand new 2020 vehicle. Fortunately, we were home and the guy let us know. Very honest gentleman. No problem. They tried to pressure me to use my insurance. Once I told them my insurance said to go their the company's insurance, they did not fight me on it. The issue was taken care quickly. Fast forward 2 weeks, another new worker, did something and all we heard was glass shattering. Unfortunately, the guy has refuses to admit the damage. Rather than telling us, they ran and told their supervisor they did not do it. That is like a child running to their parent and saying them same thing. We discovered it about 10 minutes after it happened. My family was in the house and there were only 2 workers that were in our yard. A window just does not break on its own. They claim they did not do work, but that is not true. The impact was significant enough as we found glass in the grass 6-8 from the window. I have tried to get a status (I'm not sure if the office staff is out due to the corona virus) via email and a voicemail to the customer service representative. Currently, it appears they are not moving fast enough and/or trying to avoid paying a claim. Perhaps they are waiting on the HOA to see if who is going to fix it. Either way, no one is communicating. Communication is the key, even if we have to wait. Let someone know what is going on. Fortunately, it was a double pane window and we still have the other side for the time being. read more

French drain install. Supposed to have rock installed after. No rock on site day of. Workers explicitly said the rock was totally unnecessary and if I had it done, the crushed rock would look like a driveway going across my backyard. Instead they recommended grass. They refunded the $ for the rock but not the labor for spreading and sealing it, After spending $$$, water was still in backyard. Ezra said we needed the rock. I agreed & said I wanted it done as was listed on the estimate. Scheduler very rude and denied workers comments. I think workers just wanted to finish job quickly. Instead of the approx $1300 in the bid, they wanted $2900. Bottom line I paid approx. $8k and still have water in my backyard. read more

They never paid me and are ignoring requests from the Washington Department of Labor in regards to my unpaid wages. Who knows what other scummy stuff they do which isn't reported. I cannot tell you what type of work they do because we never got to that point. We set up an appointment for someone to come out to figure out an estimate for a job that I needed to be completed. I had to postpone that appointment and the guy showed up anyway. I got an estimate and I wanted to talk to them about it. I tried to call them and could not get through three or four times. I emailed them. I ended up leaving a message stating that I had a lot of questions about the estimate. They never called me back and I got an email saying do you have any questions?. They don't really seem like they have there act together. Having work done in my home is stress enough and I don't need that. read more

Team showed up and provided service to my neighbor's house instead of mine. When she told them that they were at wrong house, they argued with her and told her she was wrong. Then, when they finally believed her and got to the right house, they blew all the yard waste onto her yard. Not good. Then, the next week, they didn't show up at all. They said it somehow something got missed in the system and they would be sure to do a thorough job the following week. Didn't show up that week as well. Shows how much they care about my business. They are fired! I have never written a review like this before and hope to never have to do so again. So frustrated!!! I don't recommend using them at all. I paid them to come out to fix our underground sprinkler system. A woman came out from their company to repair our system and to do a few extra things. We paid the company for their service. Come to find out, the woman only completed a small percentage of the work we needed to have done on our yard. We called the company to find out they fired that woman and they sent out another employee to finish the uncompleted work. Pro lawn insisted we pay again for the work we already paid for. We paid them again for their work. The work again was not completed as we were told. Our yard is completely brown and many areas are not receiving water. We again, call the company and explained the problems we have had yet again, and they want us to pay them a third time to have another employee come out to fix it. 12/17 Prolawn was working across the street from my house and their weedtrimmer threw a rock into my car and broke a window. One of the employees came to my door and told me about the damage and to call the office to file a claim. It took 2 calls before I got a reply, they said they will call the boss and get the ball rolling. I had window replaced 12/18. On 12/20 I called the office to ask what's happening and I was told the boss is preparing check. I know it's Christmas week so I figure things will go slow. No check the entire week, and no check the week of 12/28. It's now 1/4/21 and still no check, no communication, nothing. I have come to understand the reason for the other poor reviews for Prolawn, the owners are duplicitous and totally untrustworthy. I feel I have given them adequate time to respond. If you have gotten a timely response from management it must be an anomaly, I have only gotten stonewalled. My next step is to visit their home/office in Bangor to get my reimbursement. read more

I will never pay a lawn service 100% before completing their job. In this case Pro Lawn promised to come back since October 27th 2017 and since then, I have contacted them again this week. The employees told their boss the job had been completed, but I assure you it not been. Shame on me for trusting these landscapers as their word is not good. Completely disappointing would be the best description. I contacted and arranged to have lawn service through Pro-Lawn Care Etc. While I found their price to be high, I was encouraged by the pictures they posted on their own website and the quickness with which they responded to my original request. Those would prove to be the only positives. I got home on the day of my first service and was completely appalled at the condition my yard was in. 1) The price I was quoted included, debris clean-up, trimming of plants, and trimming/edging. None of these were provided by the service team. In fact they blew the grass all over our yard, driveway, and into our planters. They did not edge at all and they did a half-@$$ job of trimming around the house. 2) I don't know what they used to cut the grass, but my lawn had gouges and divets, almost like a really bad golfer had practiced on it. 3) I called immediately to cancel the service...the same day it was cut. The lady on the phone did appear apologetic when I offered why. And she mentioned they had new crews and this would be addressed. 4) A week later I received a full bill for the service they did on my yard. I tried calling (no answer) and emailed the company (no response) to question why I was being charged despite the fact they didn't do the things agreed upon. Ultimately I paid the invoice and their no response earned the rating I am giving them. The level of professionalism is appalling and they obviously care about 1 thing....money. Nobody from the company management called to ask about my service problem. Nobody responded to my email. I would expect more form a 12 year old kid in my neighborhood cutting grass, so it is sad that a "business" would operate this way. All I can say is I do not recommend Pro-Lawn care etc. Find anyone else. read more

We had Ezra and his group come and add on to our pre-existing rock retaining wall. They did a great job blending into the existing wall and were able to make it look like it was originally made that way. They were patient with us and were attentive to detail. We were stuck on how to curve the wall into the hill as the slope was a bit more challenging than we originally thought. They helped brainstorm ideas and ultimately we were able to get exactly what we were wanting. It looks great and we are so appreciative to their attentiveness and professionalism. read more

Customer service is poor at best. Took 9 days to receive estimate. Heard nothing for a week following- I called to inquire about scheduling work. Ezra (owner) said he'd get right back to me. Another week passed & I sent email. Took close to a month, but work finally scheduled. Was invoiced for three thatches (only did two) and 2 yards of soil (only applied 1.25 yards). After multiple emails, many excuses and weak arguments on his part, the invoice was finally corrected to reflect actual services and materials provided. I said I would not pay for services/materials not received...at no time did I say I would not pay at all. He threatened to turn me over to collections before I had even gotten the final/adjusted invoice. Overall a most unpleasant experience. Do not recommend using this business. read more

Update: I spoke with Ezra recently and was told there have been transition issues with new hires. It's unfortunate, as had there been communication, I would still have the company maintain my yard.
