For the last three years, Leslie has scanned an extraordinary amount of historic images from my private archive, and then made excellent prints, restoring the faded densities and contrasts. I didn't think it was possible. Many prints were in fragile condition, but in each and every case, Leslie gave new life to irreplaceable photos that suffered the ravages of time. Obtaining prints of high quality from 60-year old and more color negatives has been near miraculous. For example, I had a series of Kodacolor C-22 process 616 size negatives, stored away in in good condition, but getting them printed seemed a lost cause. The dyes used for the original prints had faded to an ugly brown. Even Kodak had a disclaimer, advising this would someday happen, since the dyes they used had an inexorable tendency to fade out. Leslie came to the rescue and coaxed beauty out of those old negatives, making prints of extraordinary vibrancy. I'm not indulging in hyperbole when I say they dance with life. I can't praise Leslie and Charles enough for providing this service. Prints and negatives are handled with great care. Nothing has ever been lost or damaged. All my orders have been handled efficiently and expeditiously. I love this photo shop. Proprietor Leslie Franciose has a great personal touch. She's friendly, has a good feel for people, and goes the extra mile to provide top service. Regular business hours are from 8:30 am to 5 pm, but if you need to be there a little earlier or a little later, you can call them up and they'll try to accommodate you. I shoot film. Pro-Lab develops the film on site--which is almost a lost art these days--and the quality is excellent. Whether I'm taking snapshots just for fun or photos for professional use (like for the cover of a CD I'm producing, or some such thing), I know Pro-Lab will give me good results. The turn-around time is quicker than you'd get from a local drug store (which has to send film out some place to be processed), and drug stores these days don't give you back your negatives; Pro-Lab does. (They may charge a little bit more, but it's worth it.) Right now I'm having problems with one of my aging cameras; Leslie is making adjustments in the development process to compensate, so as to get a better print from a poor negative. No other place would do that. But she's trying to do a little extra in order to get the best possible results. If that weren't enough, she's usually got some fresh-baked cookies on the counter for her customers. If you've got a sweet tooth, that's a plus! read more

I have never left a review on yelp in my life but I felt the need to give this place a review. I have been in the wedding industry for 26 years and have used many labs, but none even come close to the customer service I get from everyone at this location. If i need something in a hurry, they always seem to find a way to get me what I need on time if not sooner. Not only do they provide amazing service and great products,(prints, cards, albums) they have the most incredible baked goods. Thats customer service at its best. Their prices are spot on with anyone HUGE lab. They also ship stuff out for me if I need something shipped. I can't recommend this place enough. I recently came back to the world of analog photography.In the beginning I was not sure if somebody still does developing in my area(northern New Jersey) .I was glad to find Pro-Lab 10 minutes away from my house!These guys been in business for a long time and do color and BW developing ,scanning and printing ,I did all 3 with them and was really happy with the results!Now my regular work flow is drop off the film , have it developed and get scans sent to me via DropBox. If I want to print a specific shot I DropBox back to Pro-Lab individual scans for printing.Super easy! I found Leslie and Pro-Lab through a Google search and have been thrilled by Leslie's skill, and her easy going and professional manner has been great. The assignments I sent to Leslie were varied. First, I needed contact sheets made from old 35mm negs and prints generated from those and both were done perfectly. Most recently I needed to have prints made from very lo-fi sources (everything from old polaroids, to postage stamp sized photo booth shots, as well as from better sources like 8x 10 glossies.). A professional photography printer willing to work with consumers! Now that's hard to find. I've used this service several times over the past few years and every time with stunning results. In fact, my enlarged print won at a photo club contest for it's clarity - a testament to their processing. They have made copies from old photos and lightened them up as well.
