Just got my Etek checked and fixed quickly from a leak. Only $2 for what I thought would be $5-$8. I purchased some Formula 13 Paint, which is a great all around accurate paintball product; when I checked out, the employee whom fixed my gun with precision also offered to check the paintballs himself to see in order to leave more secure for my game day, therefore preventing any disappointment with my purchase. My first time here and I can already tell that these employees are experienced in the game, knowledgable, respect all tiers of players, and understand the necessities of having a good ball game. Their staff is professional and they don't just sell gear for a living they actually play the game. They have a wide selection of markers ranging from entry level all the way up to professional and scenario gaming. You can find tons of gear including masks, jerseys/pants, camo and pod packs. Have a marker that doesn't work? Even if you didn't buy it from pro edge they can fix it for a reasonable price. If you just need a part and can do it yourself chances are they have it in stock. John, and all of his staff have been around the sport as long as I have, (early-mid 1990's) They play with the gear and know what's best for you, whether you're an entry level player, experienced player, or even a tournament player. I stopped in to look at getting a new marker so I could make my return into paintball. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly and even went out of the way to color swap parts off two markers they had in stock so I could get exactly what I wanted. Tony was able to help me to get all the other little things I needed to get out and play. He also suggested some fields and people to play with. Great store, I have been there a few times and you can really tell John and Matt are knowledgeable as well as enthusiastic about the sport. They are laid back and willing to help out with product decisions in an unbiased manner. I didn't feel any sales pressure and they didn't attempt to up sell which was refreshing. Their prices are competitive with the internet retailers, but they offer post-sale support that no online retailer or big box store can match. Got back into paintball after about a ten year hiatus. Never played in Texas before and from the moment I walked into this store I felt like I was welcomed with open arms. Kyle and John both went out of there way to show me what the latest tourny guys were using and why. Even took the time to share some old stories about the fun they'd had in this sport. I've shopped in quite a few paintball stores coast to coast and Pro Edge stands out to be one of the best one. Even though I'm an experience player they still show me other products that they have or have recently come out. It's really about the service. I just wish they would open a second location down in south Houston... the hour drive is hard sometimes. Came in this store for their Black Friday sale and was blown away by the amazing deals I found, I was able to get all the playing gear I needed at an incredible price! And even with covid going on, they had procedures in place to sanitize equipment to try on some new gear in their changing room. So that I don't have to come back if things don't fit.
