Not gonna hate on my clearance purchase. I got a 52Q ultra light hard cooler for $200 (normally $400+). It wasn't the color I wanted, and since it's a clearance item, there is no warranty. But my coolers last me 10+ years, so I should be good. Most of the negative reviews complain about the warranty anyway, and their soft coolers and bags. So, maybe stick with the hard cooler items and stay away from any fabric or soft goods. read more

I like that RTIC has ceramic lined drinkware instead of just the metallic lining. The store includes a rainbow of colors that will have you studying on which ones to select. I was greeted upon entry and checked on during my stay. The team even indulged me with checking their straw size against a demo that I owned. Horrific Customer Service. Poor customer service agent is given no tools to assist. Supervisors don't take inbound calls; only outbound calls at their leisure. Supervisor had a "victim" story for everything. Best the supervisor had to offer was to attempt to see if "marketing" could provide a replacement code. Supervisor could not restore any confidence from RTIC's customer service experience. Had to explain where/why my google review along with the 1.7 rating. She explained old company name before "buy" out so they don't bother to manage. Blamed google for not removing. No accountability and certainly no confidence can be found with RTIC's customer service. You get what you pay for discounted pricing equates directly with discounted customer service! Our 30 soft pack cooler was out on bow of our boat for quicker access and the sun released the glue that held the top to the cooler (see pics)! RTIC Rep. Amairani S said, to bad the one year warranty is over, buy some 3M 5200 glue! REALLY? UNSAT RTIC for a $119.00 product! I recently had numerous negative interactions with customer service. I recently placed an order for a cooler and never received a confirmation to my email despite the pending charge on my credit card. I reached out to customer service, and the representative was very rude and seemed annoyed to assist with my issue. I was told I would need to reorder the cooler. While I understand orders sometimes don't process, I asked for a discount based on the inconvenience and the time it took for me to investigate this issue. My request for a discount to replace the order despite my inconvenience was denied. Not only was I met with rude customer service it is clear RTIC does not value the time of customers or make it easy to troubleshoot issues with their order. UPDATE: Today is July 2, 2021. I had to call RTIC back because they seemed to have forgotten about our order. I had the opportunity to speak with Debbie and she was the best. How do I know she was the best? We ended up getting a call from the manager Kim. Obviously Debbie gets things done. She was so awesome. Let's just say the call with Kim didn't Go anywhere. She wanted to offer my Vietnam veteran disabled dad and I the bottom of the barrel colors for the coolers and the plain stainless steel cups. What do I mean by bottom of the barrel soft coolers? Seafoam (teal) and black or teal and grey cooler. Her excuse was that's all they had unless I wanted yellow or pink. That's the best RTIC can do for screwing up the Father's Day gift which the pack itself had cool colors. Kim was obviously annoyed because she thought she would smith this over with a slap in the face 10% off. Horrible customer service for sure. I asked her to put us on a list when the manly colors came in but she said she couldn't. She offered me 10% off which based on her math would put the two cups and cooler at the same $99 dollar price the Father's Day pack would have been. She then offered 15% off. She tried selling the discount saying we could use it towards a hard cooler. If I wanted a hard cooler, I would have purchased one with or without a discount. I wanted the soft cooler not hard cooler. You're not doing me any favors for sure. Let this be a lesson when dealing with RTIC. I make a trip to the RTIC Retail Store every time I'm in the area for doctors appointments. I drop in to see what new merchandise is available for purchase! Today I actually started my Christmas shopping picking up items I can give to guys in my family this Christmas. Also picked up a gift for my friend whose birthday is next week. Purchase my Arctic cooler didn't last more than 2 use . They like to brag about tougher than nails but the handle broke tore off .leaving my cooler sinking to the bottom of the ocean. This store is no where near my house (I wish they'd make another location) but we were traveling and stopped in. I'm super glad we did. The prices here are great and the selection of colors and products is the best! Some of the products I had not seen before (like collapsible chairs) and certainly not all the colors in the cups, lunch boxes, coffee cups and water canteens. I did find the store a little pricey on the accessories like straws, handles and ice packs for lunch boxes but everything else I purchased at really good prices for. RTIC is just as good as any other similar brand and those other brands cost WAY more with way less options in my opinion. read more

TERRIBLE customer service!!!!! And terrible quality tumblers!!! My husband got an RTIC 30 oz tumbler about 3 years ago as a gift for his birthday and that thing STILL works perfect. We made the mistake of thinking the company was still as good as it was then and still offered quality products at a cheaper price than competitors but that is 1000% not the case. You definitely get the cheap quality you pay for. After 4 months of minor use yet when I have used it it was only ever hand washed and has only had water and ice in it ever and yet the ice doesn't stay cold for even 5 hours!!! But they only offer a 90 day warranty vs 3 years from Yeti so they are aware their products fail to meet standards and hair offer a basic warranty until they know the products stop working! Compared to the old stainless steel one it's clearly not the same product. Super disappointed we wasted so much money purchasing several different beverage holders for ourselves and our family. Should have really thought about it when the half gallon jug arrived discolored with weird stains. It was a gift for my dad but their only option was to just return it and it was the one gift my dad asked for. Then when we got the 30oz tumblrs my husband wanted the new lid for his and that's when we realized they weren't the same products as they didn't fit at all! Prices aren't bad for the cups, but they make up the amount on the coolers. With so many employees walking around, you would think one would give them a gentle reminder. The store looked slightly empty with many products running low. Where do I get started with this company? I ordered my products 2 weeks ago. Even when I tried to get a usps option they shipped my package with FedEx. Along with no updates on where my package is and one email back from Rtic themselves, 2 weeks later...no package. Package hasnt moved since it was in Sacramento last Thursday. I'm not sure what a company would go through FedEx when they just give the package to usps to deliver it. I'll be getting a refund and sending the stuff back since I needed them tomorrow and won't have them. I'll just buy something at the store and use that since who knows when the products itself are going to show up. RTIC Outdoors is the flagship retail store for Cuero.com, an online boot store. I placed an order for a pair boots after being assured they were in stock. After 10 days of not receiving shipping information for my boots, I tried contacting Cuero.com but the site would just freeze. The website was designed only to place orders, not to check the status, look at your account, or ask for help. Not even the phone numbers on the site are working. I feared the worst (that some scammer had gotten hold of my CC information). After researching for several days, I discovered there is no Cuero.com, but rather RTIC Outdoors in Houston, TX uses it as a front to channel traffic and orders to their site. I called the store and the rudest customer service person couldn't get rid of me fast enough. She provided a different number that I should call and immediately hanged up before I could get a word across or ask a follow up question. I call the new number and first I was informed that FedEx was having issues with my order, which prompted me asked for the tracking number to take my dispute to FedEx. Then she told me the boots I ordered were no longer in stock - so the FedEx thing she mentioned earlier was BS - and that I could order a different set with her over the phone. It has been 13 days since I placed the order, why the heck wouldn't they reach out to me about the boots being out of stock? I immediately asked to cancel my order and refund my money. I bought an RTIC cooler less than a year ago. I did my due diligence before making the purchase and came to the conclusion it was comparable to a Yeti, a much more expensive though highly rated cooler. Well, my RTIC cooler arrived and I used it three times in 9 months. Yes, just 3 times. The first two times it worked as advertised. But the third time on a weekend camping trip to Humboldt County there was a problem. The cooler's lid (top) sheered off when it fell from my car's hatchback on the dirt parking space at the campsite. It fell roughly three feet directly onto the ground. Was I surprised something would break so easily? Yes, absolutely. The ground was your standard dirt, not too hard. Any cooler should survive a fall like this, or so I thought. But it was still under a one-year warranty so I wasn't too concerned. Things happen. A freak fall and physics did the rest. So I was confident I'd get a refund, a replacement top, or new cooler altogether. But NO. My request for a refund or replacement was denied. In a curt, one-line sentence I was told the accident was not covered under the warranty. I was in disbelief. I asked for a more thorough explanation and was told what happened to my cooler--a random accident--was not covered under RTIC's warranty. IF NOT MY TYPE OF ACCIDENT, THEN WHAT WOULD THE WARRANTY COVER? NOT MUCH, IS THE CONCLUSION I CAME TO. Don't buy an RTIC cooler. Spend the extra cash on a Yeti or something comparable.
