My good friend has a membership here and This place had amazing reviews so I came here requesting information on purchasing a week pass since I was going to be working in the area. I now understand it's for members only however your staff did not have to be extremely rude. A simple "sorry ma'am" would have been sufficient. However the staff seemed angry and annoyed at the question and went off on me basically embarrassing me in front of gym members. My friend was sooooo embarrassed for me especially her paying a paying member and had to apologize on their behalf. Please train your staff to be polite. No need for the theatrics, they treated me like I was a criminal. read more

Disappointed with Pro Club's business practices. They increased my membership fees with zero advance notice - I only found out when my bill came through higher than expected. When I went to cancel, I discovered they require what amounts to nearly 60 days notice, meaning I'm forced to pay for two more months of a service I no longer want at a price I never agreed to. If you're going to impose strict cancellation policies on members, the least you can do is give them the same courtesy of notice when raising prices. Poor form. read more

Call me bougie but my general take of the gym after being an Equinox member in other cities is that it's the same price point with only 10% of the amenities and non of the world class facilities you'd find at an Equinox. I feel ripped off and I'm only here because my company pays for this gym membership. The locations are not even convenient for where I live. Pricy AF: I counted only 6 free fitness classes at the Seattle location and around the same for the Bellevue spot. I can't believe after the hefty membership fees they charge that I have to pay additional to buy punch cards to get into basic classes like circuit training, boxing, and pilates. At an Equinox, all of these classes are free and unlimited with a membership plan. As I'm a summer intern on a corporate plan, I was also told that I did not qualify for the 2 complimentary personal training sessions that all other new guests received...come on... Facilities look like they come from the 80's: the facilities at both the Seattle and Bellevue locations are packed, run-down, and old. The bathrooms look like a travel back in time to the set of Flashdance. Shampoo and conditioner come in cheap, plastic bottles with "Pro Sports" branding - I'm suspicious of what cheap, low quality stuff they put in there. How I miss my Kiel's products and cold eucalyptus towels from Equinox! Equinoxes also have dedicated cleaning ladies in the change rooms, of which I saw none at Pro Sports. Free classes are meh: I've only taken a few but from what I saw, these classes were packed with instructors reading off cheat sheets in the middle of class! When is Equinox coming? Or Barry's? I joined Pro Club as part of the 20/20 LifeStyles program to lose weight. Facilities are comfortable; women's locker room has sauna and jacuzzi; mirrors with good lighting, free day lockers or longer to rent. Very friendly and helpful desk staff. If you're looking for a trainer, you simply CANNOT do better than Will Harrison! He has been coaching me for almost a year now and I've gone from wheezing just to climb stairs to doing weekend forest hikes with my teenage son (down 90 lbs!). He challenges me every session, but it's never past my ability to accomplish. He's understanding and fun and a master of exercise knowledge. I can't recommend him enough! read more

Since joining PRO Sports Club in August after moving to the area, I have found myself working out damn near everyday I can. Maybe its to rationalize spending $80+ a month for a gym, or maybe it is because I love the ability to exercise in a fairly empty gym. No matter the time you workout, you should expect to see the normal crowds at chain gyms. I have never had to wait for a squat rack or a treadmill. They have 2 levels full of top notch treadmills, stair masters, and literally every other type of cardio machine. They also have a pretty spacious area for free weights, plyometrics and TRX training. If you need a motivational push, they have pretty good deals on packages for personal training. I, myself, got the 12 session pack and was pretty satisfied with how it went. Now since I am a man, I can only speak for the men's locker room (duh). It has many lockers for day use, or lockers for rent at around $55 per year which is not bad at all. It also features showers, bathroom facilities equipped with deodorant, shave cream, and anything else you may have forgotten at home to help avoid the 5 o'clock shadow at 5am... To top it all off, they even have a nice sauna that I am going to try out ASAP. So if you hate crowded gyms, waiting endlessly just to get in a quick workout before work (I assume that's everyone, ever?), check out PRO Sports Club. read more

Expensive. The dues (as of May 2018) are somewhere in the ball park of $90/month. The main reason I continue to workout at PRO Club vs. 24h Fitness or Gold's (both gyms are closer to $30/month) is because the gym is rarely crowded and it's close to home/work. In addition, most members are middle-aged professionals, so you don't get as much of the awkward sweaty monsters dropping weights and leaving plates all over the place. The availability and variety of weight equipment is great. There are a TON of cardio machines (if you're into that sort of thing, haha). They recently added a HUGE free weight area with a massive TRX rack and a Rogue fitness build-out. They have bumper weights, etc., but you can't drop your weights if you're doing Olympic lifts, so no heavy stuff (PRs, etc.) here, unfortunately. They also have (non-coed) steam rooms, sauna, and jacuzzi. I use the steam room pretty often. It's pretty small (6 people or so), but works great and stays clean. The front desk has a fair variety of food/snacks, etc. I have purchased the meals-to-go (that you cook at home) a few times. They're actually pretty decent! The staff tend to be a bit aloof though. There are several staff that kind of just mumble in your direction when you check in, etc. Kind of strange for a higher end gym. I'm in there 2-4 times a week and have NEVER had a staff member try to remember my name or engage with me. I mean, that stuff doesn't affect my workout, so it's not critical. But, heck, I know the UPS guy better than I know the staff member that has checked me in 50+ times. Oh, and they play the WORST elevator-style music in the gym. Bring your headphones. Overall... Pros: Not crowded. Great variety and availability of equipment. Respectful/clean members. Cons: Expensive - likely overpriced. A great facility, very nicely run. Decent amount of parking downstairs, especially if you don't come at the start of evening rush. Toooooons of cardio machines, both upstairs and downstairs. Decent amount of free weights, both barbell and dumbbell. Decent amount of machines. Not nearly enough Hammer Strength stuff for my liking, but you can get a complete workout here even if you're a regular heavy lifter. You can't get too many _different_ complete weight workouts here, so I don't know that it makes sense as a daily gym for a heavy lifter who changes it up a lot. But that's a small percentage of the audience. This place is part of a chain, and I usually use the other one. Both have excellent staff, very helpful and cheerful--definitely hired for being friendly and pleasant and outgoing without being phony. A nice, welcoming atmosphere with high-quality materials throughout. When I will be downtown later in a day, I love to grab a workout here. Locker room is kind of small, but rarely overcrowded. Steam room, sauna, hot tub, and a few showers. Little amenities just like in Redmond--athlete's foot spray, deodorant, lotion, shaving cream, and mouthwash are all complimentary. read more

PRO Sports Club is almost on par with 24 Hour Fitness downtown; overcrowded, filthy locker rooms with broken locker locks. The overcrowding of the gym has also come with a decline in cleanliness of the locker rooms and broken lockers management does not seem to address. There is something incredibly unsettling about the sauna and whirlpool smelling like dirty mop water. A gym the size of Pro Sports Club should never run out of small towels to use during your workout, yet at least once a week the front desk is out of towels. Management has stated for MANY months there will be a men's locker room expansion with the increase of month dues, yet nothing has been said about a firm timeline of starting the project. I would really like to give Pro Sports 5 stars, but the cleanliness and lack of concern from management does not warrant more than 2 starts. IF and WHEN Management chooses to care for the SLU club as they do the Bellevue club, I will be more than happy to change my review and rating. read more

Customer service is good, facility is mediocre. Tries to tout itself as a high end sports club. While they do have amenities that other gyms do not have (hot tub, dry/ wet sauna, etc.), the actual gym area is not very well taken care of. Paint is peeling, door knobs falling off, upholstery torn on most equipment (if the equipment is actually functioning). If you make any heavy breathing noises while working out you get shushed by other members. It's eerily quiet for a gym. My husband and I cancelled our memberships back in November and they attempted to charge us again for January after we had already put in our 30 day notice per the membership agreement. Overall, there are better gyms in the area that don't continue to charge you long after you've given notice. read more

The locker rooms here are luxurious compared to all other gyms I've ever tried. Carpeting, wood lockers, privacy curtains, makeup stations, hot and wet saunas, whirlpool, complimentary towels, deodorant, hair spray, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hair dryers. (Can't imagine going back to 24 Hour Fitness down the street with their perpetually wet tile floor in the locker room and their gimpy showers.) Staff regularly make the rounds to wipe down counters and pick up after selfish slobs, etc. 99% of time women obey the posted rules about no cell phones in locker room so the environment is always quiet and relaxing. Gym has all the equipment I need - weight machines, free weights, cardio equipment, and a second floor where they keep overhead lights off at night for folks who prefer a nocturnal experience. Gym is pretty full after standard work hours, but at most other times there's usually just a handful of people so you have your pick of machines and equipment. read more

LOVE pro sport! I was looking for something that resembled Equinox and Pro sport is it. To specify, i am talking about the Seattle location. It's SO clean! Tons of machines! Cleaning bottles at every machine. The staff were friendly, and there's a lot of variety. I came around 4pm and it was almost empty, so lots of options and no crowding. Probably the most disappointing thing is that they have very limited free classes (which is the opposite of the Bellevue location that has tons). Seattle has classes but you have to pay a good amount more. They don't leave you much option when the free ones are so limited. That's why I give it 4 stars. But the BEST thing is the locker room. If you're like me, you need a reason to keep coming back to the gym. And the amenities is where it's at. Amazing Jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. The products smell really good too! There's lots of privacy spaces for modest people and most importantly, it's so clean!! It's a little more pricey than your run of the mill, but hands down more value for your buck. I've been a member of the Seattle Pro Club since 2005, and a member of the Pro Club overall since 2000. Seattle lacks good choices for gyms unfortunately and the Seattle Pro Club is a decent option. But, I'd argue knows they are one of the few games in town. Pros: The Pro Club is a very nice gym. The equipment is well maintained and there is a lot of it. It has tons of cardio equipment (if that's what you're looking for) and they just added additional squat racks which I really appreciated. The workout spaces are kept very clean (the locker rooms are another story, see below). These are big pluses over your 24s and LA Fitness's where I don't want to touch anything in them. The Pro Club is fantastic about keeping cleaning bottles on every piece of equipment. The locker rooms have great amenities like a whirlpool, steam room, dry sauna, and towel service (again, see below). The front desk staff is super friendly and customer service is generally good. Management is another matter, see below. Cons: Your car WILL BE BROKEN INTO at this gym. There is a huge crime problem in their parking garage. The best that has been done is to put up signs warning of car prowlers. The Pro Club claims they cannot do anything more because they don't own the building. I call BS, they could hire a security guard if they wanted to. It's only a matter of time before muggings occur in this garage. Be aware. This gym is heavily focused on personal training and classes sometimes to the extent that if you're just a paying member you're competing with tons of personal trainers and their clients (especially during peak times in the AM/PM). The gym is getting progressively more overcrowded. They recently completed a men's locker room expansion (they raised our rates for this too, it wasn't out of generosity) which added additional locker room space and a few more showers, but the size of the gym is essentially unchanged from where it was in 2005. Speaking of overcrowding, bring shower shoes for the locker room. By the evening, the men's locker room is destroyed and hygiene is poor. Again, the Pro Club could hire afternoon cleaners if they wanted to address this. You will see overflowing garbage, empty soap dispensers, and wet areas that get pretty gross. Speaking of hygiene, get ready to see a parade of older guys just jump into the hot tub without showering. It's gross, I've complained to the management and asked them to at least put a sign saying that a soap shower is required, and they refused. Baffling because they have these clearly posted in the Bellevue club. Not fine print, legit visible signs. We pay $160 a month to go to this gym and some of my Cons are super frustrating given what it costs to be a member. Hopefully the Pro Club will step up or it's Equinox all the way when it opens. read more

Let's cut to the chase: There are no kids here. Not that I have anything against kids in general. But I do have something against the rogue, non-parentally-supervised 6-year-old at the Bellevue Pro Club that smacked me in my bathing suit area as he walked past me in the hallway. Seriously, where is that kid's mother? And where is he learning this behavior?! At the Seattle Pro Club, these thoughts never cross my mind. I come in, swipe my card, and work out on my choice of machines. The machine I want is always open, and even during the post-New Years Resolution rush, I haven't found this place to be overly crowded. I've been doing personal training here for quite a while, and find it to be both challenging and engaging. I also recently started a group fitness course to train for Beat the Bridge and have enjoyed that so far as well. If you're a new Microsoftie living in the Seattle area, definitely make sure you get access to the Seattle Pro Club. Just try it out. It doesn't have all the perks of the Bellevue location, but it's got a lot going for it. Plus, did I mention there aren't any kids? read more

The facilities are clean and extremely well maintained. A very good selection of equipment -- unless you have specialized needs, there's nothing "pedestrian" about the selection or quality. Locker rooms are also spotless and well maintained; locker access and towels are part of the membership fee. I visited after work on a Thursday -- prime time for most gyms. Plenty of equipment available with no waiting necessary. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable; I haven't used a personal trainer and can't comment on that. The pricing is fair given the location and facilities: $75 a month for an individual membership with a $50 initiation fee. This is an excellent value if you've taken the time to do a bit of research -- especially since it includes parking. It's important to note that Pro Sports doesn't require or even offer contracts. That's worth thinking about given the number of gyms that engage in abhorrent business practices involving contracts and billing schemes. Finally, I'm mystified at the whining about new construction blocking the view of the city through the windows. It's not their fault that we live in one of the fastest growing cities in the country. If you want a view, go climb a mountain. If you want to work out, I can recommend this place without hesitation. read more

This was a puzzling experience for me. I live in the Eastlake area and am in search of an awesome gym that will get me excited to work out again. Mind you: I am VERY selective about what I want in a gym experience and I have extremely high expectations and have met very few gyms that I would really want to call my work out home. I joined for a week and went three times. At any rate here's the lowdown: Cleanliness: This is the cleanest gym I've ever been to. If cleanliness is your priority, this place is for you. They don't stop cleaning and will clean the same machine again even if no one has used it since the last cleaning. When I was there I watched them clean all the equipment extensively. It was almost a bit much for me since it was kind of distracting but I'm sure other people would love this. Music: For some reason, when I visited them they were featuring a 1970s disco channel for their music. I'm not sure if it's always like this, but I can't say that disco is the most motivating music for me. Definitely bring your own headphones and music. Space: This is 2 stories and not a very big space. It's pretty standard with standard equipment. The cardio machines are up-to-date. Nothing super fancy I'd say. WHen I was there, even after work which is most gyms' busiest times, there weren't many people so you didn't need to worry about getting onto machines or equipment. There's a whole room for personal training that you can't use unless you're with a trainer. Classes: I went to a step class that only had like 3 people in it which surprised me since it was right after work, theoretically a busy time. The class was ok- nothing special. I was excited about the classes but it seems like they're not very well attended and sometimes cancelled if not enough people show up. The instructor said that this isn't the best gym if you're into classes- it's just not the emphasis apparently. Bathroom: When you walk into the bathroom you come into a lounge area with a couch and TV. I'm not sure why you would go to the gym to watch TV but there it is. The locker room is pretty nice compared to most. Parking: There is a garage and you need to get your parking ticket validated when you go. It's pretty fast and easy. Overall: The ambiance is a bit mellow here. ALmost kind of depressing for me. I just didn't feel energized to do a good workout- maybe the 1970s disco or the lack of other people working out- it just felt like a slower pace than other gyms I"ve been to. I guess they have an amazing spot in Bellevue which is why everyone joings this place. Not worth the money if you just go to the Eastlake location and I won't be joining. read more

Unfortunately, there aren't nearly enough mirrors and the weight areas are really poorly organized, so I can only give 3 stars. I actually own memberships to three gyms (one for my personal trainer, one for the pool and this one, which I get free through work). Of all of them, this place has the most mediocre equipment. It's not bad, but considering the monthly dues at this place, it's not worth it. The Bad: 1.Space- First off, the gym feels like it has been crammed into an office building. It feels like a hotel gym, but a bit nicer. 2.Equipment- They are a bit lacking in the type of equipment they have. Even 24 hour fitness has a better mix, which is not saying much. 3. Seattle side has most of the necessary equipment for a good average person workout. It is kinda like a large 24 hour sport gym but with amenities. Clean towels, showers, sauna/steam room, whirlpool, soap, shampoo/conditioner complimentary as with the main club in Bellevue. Haven't really ever seen it overly crowded. Small steam/sauna rooms but does the job. Friendly staff and reasonable amount of parking available in the building although if there was a mad rush, I could see it being a problem. It is a great convenient location to workout if I need to be in Seattle. A good reminder is that Seattle location closes at 10pm. read more

The Pro Club is a first-class health club on the lines of any luxury gym in Chicago or New York. However, the Seattle location is a smaller deal - and that's a PLUS. The locker rooms are great, and just the thing to get going for the day. Staff is friendly, helpful, and the atmosphere is as relaxing as you want it to be. I haven't evaluated the spa or physical therapy services. As many Pro Club members are provided the service through their employer, it's an interesting mix of working professionals - and the Seattle location always has enough parking and machines; anyone who's waited just to park in the Bellevue location after the new year knows, a more limited audience is nice. read more

Started going this week to the Seattle location. There are plenty of machines and the locker rooms are really nice. They've got all the amenities you'd expect from a nice health club. The Seattle location is pretty small though; two floors with machines and aerobics areas but, no pools or sport courts (basketball/racquetball/tennis etc). There is plenty of parking and lots of workout room but, no sports stuff really at all which is kind of a bummer. read more

This branch of Pro Club is neither as big nor as shiny as the flagship location in Bellevue. However, it is a few blocks away from my apartment, and for that reason I frequent it. They only have one floor of a building instead of the gigantic athletic palace that is the Bellevue branch, but it's a pretty solid floor. The equipment is plentiful and well-maintained, and I've never had to wait for a machine. The locker rooms are a lot less crowded than you'd think. The staff is friendly and helpful, and parking is free for members--probably the best part, since this is Seattle after all! Overall, I have no complaints. read more

Great Facility. Poor Security. I recently tried a one-week trial membership at the Eastlake facility, on the evening 9.3.17, my car was in the parking garage below, and in the span of the hour i was at the gym, my car was broken into and many valuables of mine (laptop,ipad,camera) were stolen. The gym claims they have no accountability in the matter as they do not 'own' the garage, and i am very aware of that, however if you are a regular member going to this gym, you are going to have to use the garage as well, and the lack of accountability, or help i received after this incident was sub-par . I was considering getting a full year membership, but after little luck in obtaining any security footage or help from the gym, or the parking garage, i cannot recommend anyone getting a membership at this gym unless they are willing to take a risk of getting their car burglarized like my own, as the garage provides no actual 'security', as anyone can just walk in from off the street. Other than that i found the staff very friendly, and the facilities very clean, and the jacuzzi, steam and sauna are very well maintaned , but the follow up hasn't met my expectations , and overall i can't bring myself to get a membership at this gym knowing i could be targeted again. read more

I don't know how much it costs to get a membership here, but it can't be cheap. Each machine has it's own spray bottle and fresh towel... The people are all really friendly and helpful. I go there for physical therapy to see both Erin or Nate, depending on availability. I'm thankful for both of them. This is an excellent gym. I only went during the days and was always able to find open equipment. I'm not sure how busy it gets in the evenings. The locker rooms are spacious, and they provide towel service, and liquid soap and shampoo in the showers. And the lockers are combination, so you don't have to remember to bring a lock. Each machine has a towel and spray cleaner so people can actually clean after themselves easily, rather than leaving sweat all over the place. Most of the classes do cost extra though. Unfortunately this location is a little to long of a walk in the rain for me, when I'm trying to take an hour in the middle of the day from work. So I had to change gyms. But if it is easier for you to get to, I would recommend this place. read more

After trying 12 gyms in the area I settled on Pro Club. Moved from Boston where i belonged to Boston Sports Clubs, equinox and did some boutique classes. Pros: VERY clean, towel and cleaning spray on every single machine, free garage parking, nice locker rooms with digital locks, sauna, steam room, whirlpool, multiple showers, large and small towels, free group classes, friendly and neatly dressed staff (everyone has good hygiene - I feel like his needs to be clarified in seattle), well kept and maintained equipment - I have hardly seen an out of order sign. They finally got new spin bikes that are top of the line. They offer a good variety of Group classes. Rachel is awesome - very knowledgeable and creative, great workout, cares about your form. John (Wednesday step) is hilarious and teaches a fun class. There is a big bright room they just redid last year where you have space to dead lift and do all sorts of functional moves. It's modeled after a cross fit box with rowers, air dyne "assault" bikes, rings, Medicine balls, sand bags, heavy bags, Versa climbers, glute/ham raise machines, TRXs, and lots of rack space to squat/bench. Cons: the big new room I just mentioned is often off limits due to classes during peak times read more

Been a member for a few years. It's a better than average gym, but has some frustrating flaws for the money: equipment, TVs, and lockers are frequently out-of-order. The parking garage is very cramped and less than secure--I've had my car side-swiped and rummaged through (leaving it unlocked was my fault, but still...). Traffic is getting worse in the area which can make access tough. With the real estate boom in SLU, dues have gone up significantly the last few years with very little improvement in the facility. As many reviews here have mentioned, bathrooms/showers are older and can be pretty grubby by mid-evening. The people are great and I really want to love this gym. I've invested in my workout habits there hoping the upswing in the neighborhood would bring substantial improvements, but hasn't happened so far. On the lookout for other options. read more

Have been a member at Pro Sports Club for 3 years and began training with Will Harrison about a year ago, which has been a 5 star worthy experience. Will is a consummate pro who has put together a customized workout routine specific to my needs. After 20 years of running on flat feet, I'd developed knee pain that would become agitated and flare up after hikes. Will put together a training routine that has strengthened my knee and allowed me more range of motion and the capability to continue hiking. If my experiences are any indication, you'll feel stronger and more confident after every training session with Will, and will see results as you stick to the training plan he implements. If you have a specific health or fitness objective, I'd recommend scheduling a training session with him. Nice and clean gym but getting too crowded, and nothing has been done to improve security in the parking garage. My car was broken into just last month. There aren't even cameras in the garage. Wish they had another smith machine. read more

I actually go to the Bellevue/Redmond location most of the time but since I do live in Belltown, I do make occasional visits to this Eastlake location. It is MUCH smaller, and I've never tried any of the classes offered here, but I would imagine this is still comparable to or better than most regular gyms around. Decent set of cardio machines, not a bad set of weights (again, not nearly as extensive as the other location). read more
