Soup Nazi of Dry Cleaners
Looking for a dry cleaner in Flower Mound? Pro Cleaners? Do not give these people your business.
To be fair, the quality of the dry cleaning is very good. The problem lies with the owner and possibly the facility that they take the clothes to, in order to be cleaned. The other problem is they take no responsibility if they lose your clothes.
I had two pairs of expensive black slacks from Talbots. I always get a count on what I drop off, for I have lost clothes through the years at dry cleaners, and I have been given other people's clothes by mistake. My husband dropped of the clothes, though, and did not get a count. When I went to pick up the clothes, my slacks were missing. It is always your favorite items that seem to get lost, and somehow the most expensive.
I then spoke to one of the girls at the cleaners, who in turn told the owner. The response was you received all of your clothes you dropped off. I then went into the cleaners when the owner was there and described the slacks in details and asked if she could please look for them, or keep an eye out if someone returns them, if they were given by mistake.
She then folds her arms, and very ugly, tells me she has never given anyone the wrong clothes or lost someone's clothes. I told her that was odd, for you have given me someone else's items in the past. Raising her voice, she became very arrogant. I then asked if she could please search through the items to see if they were misplaced on the rack, and she said no. I then said could I then fill out a claim form for the lost items. She expressed they had no such forms because she never loses clothes. Then I said to her, well will you please call me if they show up. Her response .......... no.
Two men then just walked into the dry cleaner, and I repeated to her, so ......... you have never lost anyone's clothes, you will not let me fill out a claim for lost clothes, and if they do show up somehow, you are not going to give them to me. She was then silent and said she had to wait on the other customers.
To add to it, I had other clothes to pick up that day and she told me, you have no clothes here. I said, are you sure, could you look in your system? She did and again said, you have no clothes here. I knew this had to be wrong, so I left and at home found the claim ticket. My husband and another male friend showed up on Monday morning and asked for our clothes. The owner was there and said your wife picked them up on Saturday. My husband then said, no, here is the claim ticket. I was not there, but he said she looked for several minutes, became a little frantic, but finally came up with all of the items. Very strange.
Where are my slacks? My husband believes that someone at the facility where they clean the clothes liked them and stole them. What is terrible about all of this is everyone has either lost clothes at a dry cleaner or accidentally be given someone else's clothes. Not here, not never, not ever does that happen at Pro Cleaners. Just ask the owner next time she loses your clothes. read more
