DO NOT USE THIS DRY CLEANER. I am absolutely disgusted by my experience and would not trust this business to clean anything that touches my body. I specifically drove from Southlake to Irving because the owner, Ahmad Farzana, quoted me $16.99 each to clean four double-lined Pottery Barn curtain panels. Every cleaner nearby wanted over $40 per panel, so I thought I had found a great deal. Instead, I wasted my time, gas, and approximately $75 for curtains that, based on the condition in which they were returned to me, were not cleaned AT ALL. I waited five days, drove all the way back to Irving to pick them up, brought them home, removed the plastic, and was honestly in complete shock. THEY WERE STILL DIRTY, DUSTY, AND COVERED IN PET HAIR (I don't have pets) AND OTHER DEBRIS. Even more disgusting, there were dark human hairs on them that were not mine most likely from laying on their dirty floors. They appeared as though they had simply been pressed, put back on hangers, covered in dry-cleaning plastic, and handed back to me. I immediately called the owner and requested a refund. He insisted that he had personally cleaned them and told me I was welcome to bring them back. Absolutely not. I already drove approximately 40 minutes each way TWICE and went five days without curtains in my living room. Why would I make another 80-minute round trip, wait again, and trust the same business to redo a service when I have no confidence was performed the first time? I then sent the owner photos and videos documenting exactly how the curtains were returned to me. His response was that I should have told him beforehand that there were "stains." I'm sorry--isn't removing dirt and stains literally the purpose of professional cleaning? And these supposed "stains" included a few marks from WASHABLE Crayola marker from my toddler. I sprayed Dawn dish soap on one of the marks at home and it disappeared immediately. (See video). But forget the washable marker for a minute. Explain the dust, dirt, pet hair, human hair and debris that were still on curtains I had just paid a professional cleaner to clean. That is what disgusts me the most. If a business advertises unusually inexpensive dry-cleaning prices, customers should still be able to expect that their belongings are actually being CLEANED. Pressing something, putting it on a hanger and wrapping it in plastic does not make a dirty item clean. I have photos, videos, my receipt and my communications with the owner documenting this entire experience, including the condition in which the curtains were returned. I will be submitting a formal consumer complaint to the Texas Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division regarding the service I paid for and the condition in which my belongings were returned. I will also be contacting the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) Dry Cleaner Registration Program to verify that this location is properly registered and operating in compliance with Texas requirements applicable to dry-cleaning facilities. BUYER BEWARE. Based on my experience, I would NEVER bring a shirt, dress, bedding, curtains, or anything else here--especially something that touches my skin. If four curtain panels can come back from a professional cleaner still dirty, dusty and covered in unknown hair, I have absolutely no confidence in the cleanliness of anything coming out of this establishment. I drove out of my way because the price seemed like a great deal. It wasn't. Cheap dry cleaning isn't a bargain if your belongings come back dirty. I would gladly have paid the $40+ per panel somewhere else had I known this would be the result. I strongly recommend taking your belongings--and your money--somewhere else. read more

They are nice people but I could never figure out their prices for shirts and dry cleaning. It always turned out to be more than I was expecting. My husband also hates it when the cleaners staple the tags to his shirts so I found another place and come to discount cleaners for things like rugs, comforters, etc. Other than that, they're good. Ask for the price and pay upfront vs. when picking up to avoid surprises. read more

I don't visit the cleaners often anymore, as I no longer work in corporate America, but I do love that they're here and available. I found Discount Cleaners to be efficient and professional. I searched Yelp (duh) and submitted an online quote on 2 separate occasions for sewing repairs for my favorite wool winter coat and little black dress that required many stitching tears. They were prompt and thorough with their responses which was greatly appreciated. I would have moved on, if that wasn't the case. The owner and staff who work here were very pleasant at both drop off and pick up. The turnaround was as stated and my pieces looked as good as new. Pricing was higher than I wished to pay, but the service is so amazing and hassle-free that I'm convinced I honestly got what I paid for. I highly recommend them if they're near you. I took a belly dancing costume here to be cleaned. It was filthy, and some of the coins on the costume got wet and became discolored. I was not sure if it could be cleaned, and the lady at Discount Cleaners said she would do her best, but she wasn't sure about the coins either. Drum roll please -- they did a great job: the costume looks brand new and the coins shine again. This could not have been an easy job, but I am overjoyed with the result. read more

I totally recommend Discount Cleaners to anyone & everyone! If your looking for a friendly non-toxic dry cleaner that also knows what they're doing look no more! My experience was that great! They were very friendly and actually listened to my concerns. I needed a very heavy blanket/throw cleaned. It's also very important because it's the only blanket we have found that my Dad stays warm under during his Dialysis treatment's. It's weighted like it's made for extreme cold weather, but even in the summer he needs it to stay warm. It also feels like thick brushed suede on one side & what I call Sherpa on the other, but I was just guessing so I couldn't tell them exactly what the material was. The owner came out to talk with me & expressed his concerns. He wasn't sure if it would be able to be cleaned without altering its appearance, but if I wanted to leave it he would be happy to give it a go. I told him appearance is not a concern for me at all. I only had 2 requests that mattered. First, I just wanted it cleaned (removal of dirt & any type of bacteria) and my second request was to only use eco-friendly cleaning solutions and/or methods so my very fragile Dad wouldn't have any type of allergic reaction that's usually caused by harsh dry-cleaners. As a new resident of Texas, I have been struggling to find an affordable cleaner in the Las Colinas area. Recently, I accidentally got oil and grease on an expensive dress after rubbing it against my car tire. After doing some research, I discovered this place that seemed promising. However, I was worried about the wiring in the dress melting during the dry-cleaning process. I signed a disclosure and left my dress in their care. Today, I picked up my dress, and it looked brand new! I couldn't be happier with the results; the woman who assisted me throughout the process was fantastic. I have used this cleaners 3 times, the sign on the building say's Discount Cleaners $1.79 per item. I took in 3 sweaters and was charged $4.25 each, and 4 shirts that ere to have heavy starch for as on the window $.99, they dry cleaned 2 of my shirts for $2.79 and 2 were wash not starched for $1.29. This is a very dishonest business.. The first time my wife picked up the clothes that were to be around $45.00 that were $70.00 the next visit was less... The only reason I give this cleaner a three stars is because my clothing items looked really good. The prices cannot be beat... However when I went to go pick up my clothes it was just before closing and the woman behind the counter would only except cash because she said they were closed. It was in fact almost 10 minutes before closing time and I had very little cash on me, since I mainly use debit. I haven't brought my clothes back there yet, but I probably will because of the price. I stopped here by chance as I was visiting family in TX and needed dry cleaning services ASAP. (I'm visiting from Manhattan) I looked at some reviews online and decided to give this place a try. I am pleased to say that they did an exceptional job with my dress shirts! I asked for a moderate amount of starch because I hate the sound that heavy starched shirts make! It was perfect and the edges were pressed nicely. The lady up front seemed really nice and helped me pick the right services that I needed. The price here is really cheap. I'm not sure how this place stays in business with prices so low. Im not from here but if I ever visit Texas again, I know which dry cleaners to use. The best part about this place is that they have a same day service. Most places in Manhattan take about a day to complete the service so I think that it is a good option to have available if time constraints occur. read more

They will never count your cloths or write on paper as if they lost (stole!!) then there will be no way to track. This was happened to me as they missed placed one of my shirt and i clearly remember the shirt, color and brand. I was fortunate enough that i always ask them to write on paper the counts. The store has 1.79 listed on the window and has the exceptions listed which is fair, however a regular polo shirt dry cleaned was 2.29 which is the same as every cleaners in the area. The service wasn't any different then those. Regardless the fact still remains that $1.79 is false(lie). I have been getting my comforter dry cleaned there for a while. They have a very reasonable price, considerably cheaper than most other places in the area. They do a good job. My comforter looks and smells clean and fresh when I get it back. Worth the drive from North Irving to this location to save the money. Average job on my work shirts. I asked for heavy starch, more like medium and my sleeves weren't pressed at all. There was dark lint all over my white shirts. The lady refused to really talk to me. She had been in the phone the entire time I was there, even as I asked about my subpar shirts. When she have me the incorrect change, she got an attitude when I refused to talk to her until she dropped the phone from her ear. WARNING DO NOT USE DISCOUNT CLEANERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They are the WORST cleaners. Last Monday on 2/2/15, I dropped off 2 suits and 4 blouses. When I picked up my clothes, the suits were wrinkled and the two of the blouses (WHITE blouses) were dirtier than prior to dropping them off. I immediately informed the lady that the WHITE blouses were dirty and requested a second cleaning. She told me to return on Tues. 2/3. When I returned Tues., the blouses were not ready, and she told me to return Wed on 2/4. I was unavailable so I returned on Thurs. 2/5. Once again, the two white blouses were dirty. I requested to speak with a manager and/or owner. She said that she was unable to call him but she will have him call me. He of course DID NOT CALL ME. I was exasperated, but the lady assured me that they would clean my blouses and it would be ready on 2/10/15, so ONCE AGAIN, I left my blouses. I arrived on 2/11 and my blouses were NOT READY. This time lady called the owner and he lied to me and said that the blouses were not ready and that he was trying to clean the blouses. He acted as if he were doing ME A FAVOR as oppose to ME PAYING FOR A SERVICE. He said the blouses had tough stains, I knew he was lying because I JUST PURCHASED THE BLOUSES LAST WEEK. I STILL HAD THE RECEIPT and the blouses were virtually clean when I dropped them of on 2/2/15, yet they were filthy on 2/3. After listening to him lie for a while, he stated the blouses would be ready on Friday 2/13/15. ELEVEN DAYS TO CLEAN TWO NEW WHITE BLOUSES is UNACCEPTABLE.
