Initially used Classic to launder bed linens for an RV. Initial service was good and price (per lb) was better than comps. Conversation with Mgr/Owner(?) re laundering thin comforters as prior cleaner wanted $25 per. Since I only needed them "washed" and they were thin, any options. She offered " Just bring them in with the bulk and we'll wash/etc ar bulk rate" ($2.50/lb). Next visit I dropped them off, but it was very busy so didn't get to speak to her, but I emphasized the comforters were to laundered only. At pick up, was charged the $25 per. I questioned the clerk who got the mgr on the phone and she refused to honor the prior commitment. This irks me because we had a VERY specific conversation about the bulk wash and the lack of need to launder the comforters that frequently specifically at $25 per, was overkill. This wasn't a conversation you'd "make up". Such a shame as my initial conversations with mgr/owner were very good/professional, But this afternoon, I was simply dismissed with no regard to prior conversations. read more

If I could give this business a ZERO Star review I would. We have been using Classic for several years and usually have decent service. I travel for work and drop off business clothes on Friday/Saturday and pick up a week later, so I am not in a hurry to get my clothes back, I do want a receipt. On July 5th when picking up our cleaning Keremy brought out our clothes and I politely asked for my receipt and received a huge sigh, a whatever and an eye roll. When she returned with my receipt, an attitude and another eye roll. At which point I asked for the manager and/or owner. The manager came out and asked what the issue was. Keremy had gone inside and was standing there laughing about this. I asked for her name and the owners name and number. I have reached out to the owner several times and received no response. I wish 0 stars was an option! I moved to this area and used this business for the first time a few months ago. I dropped off at least 10 items, which were my professional clothes for work. Upon dropping my clothes off, I never received a receipt or anything. The owner who took my clothes told me their machine was down and he would make sure my clothes were accounted for. Red flag number one, but I had already handed him my clothes at this time, so I asked that he at least take my phone number to take account for my items. I travel work at times and have children who were traveling for activities, so when I received the call from the cleaners stating that I had several items there that needed to be picked up and they were just calling me to see if I wanted my items or they would throw them away, I immediately shared with them that "I absolutely want my items and to please not throw my items away!" I also shared that I have been traveling a lot in addition to being a school principal and that I would be there as soon as my schedule allowed, but reiterated that I DO want my clothes and to NOT throw away my items. A few weeks later, the manager called me again and reminded me about the clothes. I again reiterated that it had been a hectic time, I absolutely wanted my clothes, and that I would be there to get them. The absolute first weekend that I was not traveling, I went to the cleaners to pick up my clothes and was shocked when the owner, the same man that I gave my clothes to a few months prior said that he couldn't find my clothes. He said to come back on Monday and speak with the manager. At this point I'm extremely concerned, but thought maybe since my clothes didn't have a tag, that maybe they were just misplaced. I contacted the cleaners that following Tuesday and was met with the rudest response from an employee who said " your clothes have been thrown in the trash!". I asked her what did she mean and she rudely stated that I was supposed to pick up my clothes and that since I didn't, they had been thrown in the trash. I knew that couldn't be right because who would do that?!!? She stated that their policy was to hold clothes for 90 days and I was floored because I had not ever seen anything posted like that or heard of that at any dry cleaners I'd ever used. I asked to speak with a manager and she told mw she doesn't come in until 9:00. By this point I'm upset, but still hoping this is a mistake. But when I spoke with the manager, Julie, it only got worse! I had never had ANYONE speak to me with such rudeness, disdain for my situation, and flat out disrespect as she did. She stated to me "You should've kept this same energy when you were supposed to pick up your clothes!", she hung up the phone on me which only made matters worse. She CLAIMED that she gave me a date by which I had to get my clothes from them which was an ABSOLUTE LIE. She has no regard for the value of my items, which one of my professional dresses would've covered the cost of the service and more, and yelled and screamed at me. Me the customer, who's had over $1000 worth of items supposedly trashed. I made my way to the cleaners only to never see Julie in person, kept getting the run around from the other staff, who were absolutely empathetic, but had their hands tied as well, I have sent certified letters to resolve this matter, has my attorney reach out, but Steve Kim, the owner, nor the manager Julie, who was so rude over the phone have responded in any way. In search of a new cleaners since mine closed. We may have actually found one that goes above and beyond. A cleaners, you say? That's right, bub. I dropped off my laundry on Friday afternoon, not expecting the questions that came up. Light, medium, heavy or extra starch for my button down shirts? What the what?! A crease in the pants? Light and no. The nice lady offered to just take my bag but I declined. My old cleaners had lost one of my bags. They were ready for pickup on Monday at 5pm but I didn't get to them until this morning. I love the drive through service! There were two other cars in the line and each person got personalized service. Down to the doggie treat that my pup scarfed down when offered. When I got my items home, they did indeed include a bag with my name on it. Personalized with a tag for my hubby and I. The clothes were hung with care and starched as requested. The pant hanger was a nice, heavy duty one that I'll return for recycling when I go back. So maybe they're a little more pricey? Someone commented that in a previous review. Honestly, I'm ok with that. I wasn't expecting a solid find here but I am happy we gave them a try. Until next time, Classic! Dropped my pants off for a special even this weekend. Had my wife go pick them up cause I'm running late and they close at 7. She arrived there 4 min before closing and they wouldn't give her my pants cause they shut their system down early!!! If you have people belongings you can't just close early cause you want to and that's not how you do business when you have the property of others. read more

Moved to the area and started using Classic a year ago but now we are done. They have ruined a dress and actually bleached out a pair of pants that were pink. They regularly miss stains. When we have come to them with the issues they have paid to replace the clothing, except the pants because they were the last item ruined. read more

This place is awesome great service and they always do a fantastic job. My only compliant is that the prices are a little higher about 15-20% more then my normal dry cleaners in Farmers Branch. But overall the drive through service is fast and efficient. read more

Apparently this place is under new ownership I've gotten my stuff dry clean there for years and a downfield comforter are used to always be $29 I recently drop one off and it was $50 the argumentative lady told me that it was under new ownership and they no longer dry clean downfield comforters for $30 it is now $50 apparently they just got under new ownership supposedly in June of this year I recently had two comforters both downfield in December 2021 both were 29$ now sept of 22 it's 50$ as per "the new owner" UNREAL! read more

I was out of the state taking care of my deathly ill aunt and called this location to explain why I wouldn't be able to pick up my bed spread and pillow cases for an undetermined amount of time. She told me she would put it in the notes and hold item. I called at a later date and asked for price on items and told them someone would pick them up asap if I couldn't. I called back at a later date and confirmed price again to send payment. I just walked in and they said they donated my $450 bed spread to "goodwill or somewhere like that" to which I explained that I spoke to someone already and they said, "after a year we donate regardless." So let me get this straight... you tell me several times you have my item, I explained the situation and spoke to several people over time, and you just "get rid of the item" without even so much as a phone call to tell me that is your policy knowing I had already made an agreement and was told item would be held?? W.O.W is ALL I can say. It would be different if I just disappeared and never speak to people who told me item was there. I did everything I could to tell them my intent to get the item asap. Sorry I had to take care of a sick family member instead of get my bed spread which must have been taking up SO much room in your HUGE space. (Eye roll) I would've appreciated the courtesy of a phone call before you "get rid of" my belonging especially since I already made arrangements and spoke to several people. I am a newer, but regular customer. This dry cleaner has a lot to offer. Their staff have been fantastic and they are very convenient. Hours are great and they are quick. BUT, in the last few trips, I have not been pleased at all. A couple visits ago my experiences began going down hill and I though maybe it was a fluke. But appears not. All of my shirts are coming back to me with an awful lot of dark lint and hair all over them. I don't have any dogs around and my shirts are actually cleaner when i drop them off than when i pick them up. I'm not pleased at all for paying for cleaning and pressing, on only to have to pick other peoples or other peoples animals hair off and roll the lint off all my shirts. It's gross actually. It's bad enough that i just don't think I'm going to return and will have to try some place different. read more

Cleaning out the garage a few weekends ago I found my husband's High School letter jacket in the bottom of a box ... very dirty and balled up. I took the jacket to Comet fully aware that any level of restoration would be a project. They gladly accepted the challenge and said it would take about a week ... the jacket was in bad shape and they promised to do their best ... although may not be able to fully restore the jacket. A week later ... I was totally blown away ... the condition of the jacket far exceeded my expectations! In speaking with the owner, they spent a lot of time on the jacket taking several steps to ensure proper cleaning. I very much appreciate the personal care an attention in restoring the jacket! Great service. I walked in with a suit and shirt. The lady at the counter made eye contact and another woman came running to the counter to help. I told them I wanted it cleaned and they asked what starch and if I wanted creases in the pants. Painless and very friendly. They told me when it would be ready and my husband picked it up.
