Not only do they have very large washing machines but the dryers are free. The service staff that was on site were basically miracle workers. If you come to this place on the weekend during the daytime, it is extremely packed. The parking is kind of limited but it is all their parking space. I was in and out with my entire house washed and dried within 2 hours. I was able to get back home put everything up and continue my day. read more

Honestly, while I like the number of machines and the variety of sizes... it's just not clean. The machines smell sour and funky and all the washers have green mold or algea or something growing in the little windows. I liked going here for awhile but it's seriously gone downhill. My laundry always come out smelling weird no matter how much detergent and dryer sheets I use. It's disappointing because it was one of the nicer laundromats in town but my laundry has felt so gross after coming these last few visits. Additionally, they keep it at like 85 degrees in there which in Texas, feels insane. I'm sorry! read more

Don't come here !! No maintenance and poor management It has went downhill badly there are more machines out of order than not and most of the rest don't fill with enough water to wash anything ! And they are dirty inside and out and have soured odors the dryers say free but when starting them with your card it deducts .75 every time and they have dried gunk in them all I spent 45$ and 3hours to re do most of it at mother in laws house exactly what I was avoiding never again read more

When this laundromat first opened about 3 1/2 years ago. It was well managed, clean, & staff was friendly and kept the restrooms clean. Machines were never broken. Today, 11 washers are broken, people come in here who either can't read the instructions on the washing machines regarding how to dispense the soap, over load the washer to the point clothes are barely moving in the washer, and don't alert staff when machine has broken. I've seen water running out of the washer onto the floor & that person says nothing! Obviously there's folks coming in here who don't respect this place. They are ruining this place for everyone else who use this once great laundromat. Maybe start charging for dryin to repair broken washers and keep them running. read more

Very clean, but I was overcharged on a machine and the lady working there didn't believe me, or didn't want to help, so I just gave up. Point being, make sure to budget yourself for an extra wash. Edit: I started with $43 and ran 6 loads at $5.29, I should have $11.26 on my card, but have $5.97. I know things happen, but I wish they'd have done something about it. read more

Brand new laundromat that opened up this weekend. Never saw Electrolux washers and dryers before mostly SpeedQueens in laundromats. Really nice lady behind the counter who will bring out a cart for you (if one is available) to bring your stuff in. For the 4-Stars, it's a little pricey ($$). Right now it is free to dry. UPDATE: so there are a couple of dryers for people who come in just to dry for $1. When the lady found out we accidentally used those dryers she tried to refund our money. I refused because it was my mistake instead she bought my daughters drinks from the vending machines. read more

SCAMMED! I don't write reviews but I had to for this! was not given any friendly introduction or assistance when needed. credit cards work for the larger, more costly machines, but not the regular ones. loaded a prepaid card, that supposedly loaded 5 bucks for first wash, went to pay and card says only 3 bucks on card. then you have to add minimum of 10 bucks to the card... scam scam scam. I also paid for a detergent bottle. but when only given a "shrug" when I ask which ones work or not, I wasted 1/3 of the bottle figuring out which spots were working for the card or not!!! I will be trying other spots before I come back here. this was a major disappointment. read more

I've been here a few times and it's nice to see a wash house kept so clean. To top it off you never have to wait for a washer or dryer because there are so many of them. And did I mention the dryers are free. The one thing I would let you know as an FYI is that they don't take coins, but rather a card. You get this card from the employee there and add money into it and use it for the washer and dryer. The system seems to work very well. P.S. they are also a wash and fold in case you want to just drop your items off and pick up later. read more

Scam, scam, scam...... the card you have to buy to use their machines are terrible and when you go to put one on it it rips you off, I put 10 dollars on mine, it said I have only 3 dollars I even had my bank app that said what I paid, the lady was like let me call my boss but never happened. I've used this facility numerous times to wash my comforters as I need a larger machine than I have at home. For no known reason, they've started blasting an evangelical preaching channel on the TVs throughout. When I asked if the channel could be changed I was told they only get one channel (which is obviously nonsense - I've been there when it was a news channel). Then I was told the manager insists on that channel. I don't see the purpose in blasting offensive, women-hating extremist religious views at a laundromat. And I'm Christian. I came to this facility to wash and dry my bedding. I usually go to Jess's but it still closed due to a fire. I googled ocean wash for the free dry. I found the perfect size washer for $10.99. I tried to use my credit card and it didn't work. Mr. P. Willingly used his credit card and I paid him cash. I chose warm temp and filled the cups with snuggle and tide. There were plenty of affordable products for washing and drying. The wash took a reasonable amount of time and came out smelling fresh. They had several carts to transfer the laundry to the dryer. I was pleasantly surprised that the dryers knew exactly how much time the bedding needed to dry. I was able to safely take my things to the car. Mr. P was pleasant. He was cleaning (even though it was spotless) when he wasn't interacting with customers. The bathroom was very clean. Only negative was the thin toilet paper. This laundromat is one of the cleanest and nicest I've ever been to. There's ample amount of machines with lots of folding tables and seating area. I came in the front door to use the $2.59 washers. I filled 3 washers and put my soap in. On the 3rd washer I noticed that the soap was not going down so I called the attendant and told him about the problem. He came out and sucked all the liquid and told me to put more laundry soap in the machines. He did not understand that I just used a lot of soap that was wasted on his machine. I can't believe this, it was like he didn't care that I was now going to use all my laundry soap because of the washers being messed up!! read more

I had to go here when my washing machine went out. Its super clean and not very busy. I had a weeks worth of laundry for a family of 4 and they hooked me up with a swipe card to load money on for the machines. The large machines in the front can fit 3 regular size loads but are way pricier than the ones a bit farther back. I could do 4 loads in the smaller ones for less than 1 in the big ones, but i was trying to save time not money. The dryers work great and are free if you have a swipe card. read more

Living in the denton area and not having a washing/ dryer unit in my apartment has been such an inconvenience, but ocean's wash has always been the best washing/ drying experience ever. The bathroom is always clean, the people who work there are so nice & whenever i was first learning how to use the machines everyone was willing to help me & one of the workers even paid to put money on my washing card when I couldn't figure out how to. The dryers being free is always a plus and the environment is nice too! If you're thinking about going here, just do it, you won't regret it! read more

They have machines of various capacities, including average for "every day" and the XL for big items like comforters and dog beds. About 20-30 min for wash loads. And dryer time is 1¢ per 20 minutes. All my items came out cleaner than expected. Very happy guy. They use an in house payment card to "feed the machines". $5.00 buys the card with $3.00 usage credit. You can load the card using cash or credit/debit card. Everyone on the south side of Denton needs to come here when they need to do their wash. Middle day on weekdays is a good time. First time at a Laundromat. Place was clean and had plenty of machines available even midday on a Sunday. Forget your detergent? No biggie- you can buy some on site. One of the workers noticed I was taking a while purchasing one of their cards to insert into the machine and offered to help me with no prompting. They also provide free drying if you wash here (not sure if this is just a special or a regular perk). Overall would recommend for occasional use, like me, and regular visits! read more

Best laundromat in town! It's very clean and I love that their machines have card readers. They have several different sizes of washers and their dryers are free. There's always at least one staff member there in case you have any issues with the machines. I would definitely recommend this place. read more
