I do my best to support local, and one of the most local businesses you can support is your neighborhood dry cleaners. That said, I will no longer support Vogue Cleaners. After they ruined a sweater we requested a call from management in order to discuss our complaint. After multiple attempts, both on the phone and in person, to get management or their owner to return our calls, we were completely ignored. In fact I was told they "didn't know I wanted a return call," and acted as if they were unsure of the complaint, all while saying they had conversations with their owner. Not only did they refuse to reimburse the cost of the sweater, they wouldn't even refund the cost of the cleaning, a mere 5 dollars. They offered no apology only a printout from something they found online about knit sweaters. Justin Barrow, owner, and Kayleigh (sp), manager, do not represent the customer care I am accustomed to when supporting local business. I would love any recommendations for a cleaner that exemplifies local customer service. read more

I was nervous about getting my wedding dress cleaned and preserved considering it's a pricey and irreplaceable item. However, I had read some good reviews about Vogue and decided to give it a try. I had my dress cleaned & preserved. They have you inspect the dress after it's been cleaned before they seal it up in a box to make sure it all looks good, and then seal it up to be preserved. My dress looks great & I'm extremely impressed with the job and care that Vogue took in cleaning & preserving my wedding dress. Plus, it was local & cheaper than going through David's Bridal. I have been going to vogue for about a year and am usually satisfied with the service. The staff is always friendly. It scared me the first time to just drop off hundreds of dollars of clothes when they don't even give you a ticket and just take your phone number. However, I always get my clothes back and have been pleased with quality of cleaning. My only complaint is reliability. A few times gone to drop of or pickup clothes only to find that they decided to close for a whole week. I understand closing a few days for major holidays, but a week for the 4th of July is a little excessive and very inconvenient. Also when you drop off they tell you your clothes will be ready by 5pm the next day, and they usually are. However, a couple times I stopped to pick up my clothes, on the way to work (two days after dropping off), and they were not be ready. I was left running late without a suit jacket, a phone call would have helped. read more

I prefer family owned businesses like Vogue. They value their costumers and take excellent care of any type of fabric. They managed to clean my old jackets and make them look like new. I have not experienced the same result in other cleaners. They are particularly good with specialty items. Vogue's pricing is fair and comes with the best quality work in the metroplex. read more

In all fairness I need to add to my previous review. My clothes that I thought were ruined and which were re-treated by the cleaners were not damaged at all. The cleaners must have thought so also because they gave lots of explainations as to why it was my fault, however, when I got the garments home I washed them with Tide and magically all the stains came out. I may be they just needed to be laundered. I liked the counter help at the cleaners and they did a pretty good job on my other things. My low rating is for how the owner handled the complaint. read more

Today I went to pick up my coat for work and when I got it I noticed that it had cat hair in it. I don't have a cat, dog, or any other animal that sheds fur so the only way that this could happen is by storing my clothes with another customers items that contained cat hair. I was going to just go to work and pull all the hair out myself but then I remembered that I paid $8.50 to get this jacket "cleaned." I was a little shocked when he quoted me the price to clean it after I asked for the price when I dropped it off. So I go back to ask for a refund. The girl at the front desk began yelling at me saying that she can use a lint roller on it to remove the hair or that she can re-clean it and that they cannot not give me a refund. I told her that I need this jacket for work and I am on my way to work. I don't want them to re-clean it. I don't want them to touch another article of my clothes. When you pay $8.50 to get something cleaned, don't you expect for it to be cleaned right the first time? I do. My complaint to her was that I don't want to leave it to be cleaned again. You see this is honestly the 4th time that I was not satisfied with the cleaning and they offered to clean it again. I just found out about another place called Zenith Cleaners that has much better ratings. I am going to go to them next time. read more

At first I thought this business was great. They were close to my house and offered pretty convenient hours. I was taking all of my husband's work pants there and the cleaning seemed sufficient. Then, I found a coupon for a $3 gift certificate on a reputable website that is well known around UNT and the surrounding areas (http://www.campusspecial.com/north-texas/business/vogue-cleaners). I printed it off and took it into the store with all my husband's pants. The guy working told me that he wasn't sure that they would take my coupon and told me that he was going to have to speak to the owner about it. Then, he proceeded to heckle me for about 5 minutes about where I got the coupon and told me that there was "no way that the owner would put a coupon like that on a website" where it had the capability to be printed more than once. He made me feel like I was trying to cheat them for a $3 COUPON! I told him to forget about the coupon if it was that big of a deal and that I just wanted my clothes cleaned. When I picked up my clothes after they were cleaned, there was a hole in a $100 pair of my husband's wool dress pants that was NOT there before I took the pants in. When I confronted them about it, they told me that it was probably a moth bite...There is not a single other piece of clothing in my closet (or in my house) that has a hole (or "moth bite") on it, so I find this HIGHLY unlikely. Needless to say, I have found another cleaner that will be getting my roughly $75 per month worth of cleaning! read more
