We used Laminate City today for the 1st time, for the Laminate for our entire project on our latest Tampa Flip home. We started off talking with Cory on Live Chat and arranged to visit the store. We were then greeted by Joe, who showed us the product that we were interested in buying. He was kind, courteous and there was no B.S that we have found with some other flooring suppliers. The quality of the laminate is exceptional for the price, and the service has been 2nd to none. We will 100% be using Laminate City for all of our flip properties in the future. I was given a "window" for installation. Installers arrived 2 hours later. I was told on several occasions that they were on there way. Collection of final payment included a voicemail message (less than 24 hours after installation) stating a lien would be place on my house . Would not recommend! read more

I would give. 0 stars if I could. Our contractor suggested I go to make sure Stone Warehouse delivered the correct piece of granite for our kitchen remodel. He texted Tommy to let him know I was coming. When I got there, all of the workers were playing the corn toss game. Tommy said I would have to come back in an hour to see it because there were other slabs in front of it. When I went back (they were still playing their game) he showed me the piece which was WRONG!!! He said Stone Warehouse was supposed to send#39 but they sent #48! He admitted they should have checked the piece before they accepted it. When a Company is too busy playing games in their parking lot it's a good sign they aren't working & could care less about providing Customer Service which is unfortunately a thing of the past!!!! Don't use them or you will be greatly disappointed & disgusted with them. read more

I give them ZERO stars. Rep told my designer $3900 to install quartz. After installing charged my card $13,200. Never gave me an official quote prior. Never had me sign off on the quote or charges. After chasing the manager for a month and not getting any quote I finally disputed the charges. Suddenly I get text messages offered me $1500 or take out the counter tops and get a refund. My kitchen is done. The counter tops are poorly installed with misaligned pieces. I called around usually price is $75/sqf with installation on the high end if the exact product i ordered. These people are liars thieves greedy. Don't care about clients. I never write reviews but I had to since there was no way to come to any compromise with the manager. I suggest get a quote and pay by check only. read more

First job was great so decided to use them again. Different install guys second time and did vinyl plank. When finished there's noise everytime you walk on the floor. Sounds like plastic crinkled underneath. Been 5 months and still no resolution. Nobody will call back. Bringing them to court now as I have to pay someone else to fix their work. read more

I'm almost 1 year in to my kitchen remodel. Every time I think I should just let it go, I can't. Yes, I was met with the usual delays. I was fine with that. When my faucet broke twice, I replaced it the second time spending my own money. What I am not fine with is the lousy and noticeable grout work with my back splash. I knew better than to give them my final payment. However, I did so with an email promise that they would come back and clean up the grout. My salesman Kerry, who committed to get it rectified is no longer with the company. In September Tommy took over and even sent someone to evaluate the scenario. They agreed that the grout need to be addressed. That's the last I heard from them. I grew tired of texting and calling. Every morning when I get my coffee and look at the uneven, missing, cracking grout, I feel sad. How does a company treat hard working people, who gave them such a large sum of money, like this. read more

We purchased granite countertops for our kitchen. The service we received from Tom and his co-workers was absolutely GREAT! The turn around time from when the cabinets were ready for templating to the time the finished product was installed was amazingly fast. The kitchen looks great and the job was done quick and very professionally. Couldn't ask for more. Great in-store service, prices and selection. DO NOT use their install service - do it yourself or hire someone else. The 2 guys forgot their saw and I let them use mine. They did not clean when done. The baseboard has several short cuts which they filled with caulk instead of re-cutting. Put a hole in one wall. Left cig buts and leftover cuts around the yard. Used thin cement instead of floor leveler to level floor. I can go on and on. The installers were for the most part - inexperienced. read more

Im changing my original review but still leaving 3 stars instead of 1 because these guys did the right thing and sent me a refund and that's what men do. So that was nice, but i have to say all around i wasn't treated very nicely and i understand they are busy but i gave them a few months lead time. All said and done they are busy and so when you go there you need to understand that. That is all. read more

Unfortunately can't say I've experienced a worse overall business transaction in Tampa. I'm writing this review because we are still waiting on the completion of our flooring install which began over 7+ MONTHS ago, I repeat seven plus months later we are pestering Laminate City for completion or partial refund. Once they received the total billed amount, it was as we didn't exist. Now I will admit that this is partially my fault for delivering final payment without knowing the project was 100% complete, but being people from the Midwest we thought we could hold someone to their word. Keep in mind, in these 7+ months we've been told a handful of times Laminate City is sorry and they will finish what needs to be done ASAP. Well, in other news, we're still waiting... And in more detail, all that needs to be finished is one small piece of molding left incomplete under a closet door in our foyer. Why "Johnny" from Laminate City keeps telling us stories of how he is sorry and will take ownership of the mistake fixing it right away, I'm not sure...? We just want to receive the work we paid for and walk away. We were treated very well. The quality of our flooring is exceptional. I shopped at a number of other outlets, and Laminate City beat their prices by several hundred. Installation went smoothly. The installers were careful, consideration and most of all CLEAN. The next time I have a project, I won't waste my time shopping around. I'll see Tom at Laminate City first. read more

What a night mirror! This has been the worse experience. I do not recommend them to anyone. Very polite and nice to make the sale, but once instillation happened everything went down. Warranty does not matter, they will just say something was your fault even though it's impossible bc I did install it myself. This is just awful, cheap yes but I had rather spent the extra $$ and not dealt with the hassle. read more

Just got finished with a job. Took eight days to remove 350 ft. of floor tile and 650 carpet and replaced everything with laminate. What a fiasco. Took five days alone to remove the tile in my kitchen. Started on the kitchen floors on Thursday and finished the following Wednesday. Left my house in a shambles (to say the least) throughout the weekend. The owner, Johnny was around for any of the job and didn't have the guts (could have used a stronger term but didn't) to show up for the final installation and to collect the check. He had one of his installers pick it up. Should have never paid. Many problems still exist with the job. read more

LC was sub-contracted by my GC to lay carpet in 3 bedrooms. Initially, everything was fine, however after about 6 months the carpet in all 3 rooms become buckled in the center of the floor due to a poor installation. Looks TERRIBLE! I have contacted the business dozens of times in an effort to get resolved, but the owner has been unresponsive. They claim to have no record of the installation. SHADY! I didn't even know they advertise a 2 years installation warranty... but as good old Tommy Boy said - "You call slap a warranty on a box of sh**, and in the end all you have is a guaranteed piece of sh**!" That pretty much sums up my experience with them. Stay away from this company. They have absolutely no care or commitment to customer service!!! read more
