STAY AWAY. They have a high employee turnover rate, I've had to deal with 3 different "project managers" since my project started and no one is on the same page. Communication is very difficult with them. They tell you their work is warrantied and but then find any excuse to not fix their mistakes. hired Perfect Choice Flooring to replace the carpet in my bedroom with tile. The experience was incredibly frustrating from start to finish. After paying a 50% deposit on July 10, I was told I would be scheduled immediately. That didn't happen. I had to follow up multiple times just to get a start date. Communication was poor and unprofessional, with broken promises and missed callbacks. The crew finally arrived on July 29. The tile was installed with an extremely thin grout line--something I was never asked to approve but chose to accept. They said they would return the next day to grout and then come back the following day to move the heavy furniture back, which was the agreement I had in place with their representative. Instead, they grouted the next day and replaced the furniture less than an hour later, ignoring the recommended 24-hour grout curing time. When I called the project manager, his dismissive response was, "What do you want them to do?" The crew came back to remove the furniture, clearly annoyed, and became argumentative and disrespectful in my home. One even said they used a thin grout line specifically so they could move the furniture sooner. Later, I was contacted by someone in management, Jonny Sibrian, whose tone was equally rude and condescending. I explained I was arranging a third-party inspection to ensure the tile wasn't damaged due to rushed furniture placement or the use of vinegar (an acidic cleaner that can harm uncured grout). Instead of understanding, he accused me--twice--of trying to avoid paying my bill and even made a veiled threat. I've always paid for quality work, and I fully intend to pay the balance if the job passes inspection. But the lack of professionalism, poor communication, and disrespect I experienced with this company were unacceptable. I would not recommend Perfect Choice Flooring to others based on how I was treated or the quality of their work. read more

Had floors installed in 2022. Only a few months later the floors started to lift at end joints in kitchen. After contacting them they advised we must have a leak and they sent out an inspector. The inspector did not conclude a leak but "more moisture" than industry standards in the kitchen only. The report actually says all other areas were well below industry standards for moisture. We were then told by this flooring company that we have excessive moisture and they would do nothing for us. We mentioned a lawyer because we were so upset after spending so much money. Our first upgrade to our home. And they said "go ahead". We didn't pursue that route and here we are in 2025 and the floors are coming up EVERYWHERE. We literally have clear duct tape all over as the boards are coming up and scratch our feet. Finally writing this review after intending to for so long. After just putting yet another piece of duct tape down, I'm finally sharing my experience. Definitely do not recommend this company. read more

Since we ordered the flooring ourselves , they were able to pick it up and begin the install within a few days of my initial consultation. The installers did great quality work. The biggest surprise was how quick they were able to get the job done. We are very satisfied with our service received and the value of everything we paid. Perfect Choice Flooring was the subcontractor Installations Made Easy/Floor and Decor used for my tile installation project. Perfect Choice then used their (additional) subcontractors (Douglas S.). I am not sure they were all documented workers as many did not speak any English. The following are the issues: 1. Dates, times were missed consistently. Project was to be completed on Saturday at latest. No one showed up on Saturday to do any work. 2. Christian M. did not respond to my texts/calls on Saturday when I was asking for updates on missing workers. I stayed home all day waiting for nothing. 3. Furniture was not moved as promised. I had to get another group to move furniture for me. No coasters or blankets provided to protect furniture from damage and dust. I am requesting $350 back for the furniture moving portion of bid as this service was charged and not provided. 4. Furniture legs on multiple couches damaged. I am requesting a discount for this damage also. 5. Trash left in garage all week. I could not get my own trash out to the curb as my garage was covered. They finally picked up Saturday afternoon. 6. Thin set left on side of house. I had to scoop up and put in plastic bags as I was afraid it would harden on my decorative curbing, dirt and hose nozzle. It is still scratched and dirty this morning (3/25/24 @ 8 a.m.). Never repaired as of April 8, 2024. 7. Kitchen entrances were not covered in plastic as promised to keep down dust and protect items. Valuable artwork was splattered with grout or thin set. Christian from Perfect Choice came to our house to apologize for all the mixups. Christian also said they would send a house cleaning crew to clean up (that was fantasy) and give us a rebate of moving and repair expenses. He also said they would not charge us for the small patch they did by the sliders. All was supposed to be completed once the small grout issues and above referenced issues were resolved. My husband witnessed this discussion with Christian Montesinos from Perfect Choice Flooring. As of today, 4/8/24, still no resolution and now they are trying to charge me more. (The one thing about Yelp, Home Advisor or any other app like that for screening and getting estimates from or hiring contractors is that it is very time-consuming (hours reaching out and scheduling, juggling tons of contractors who try to put me on auto texting and spamming versus calling and talking to a human). I don't like it, especially since the well-established businesses seem too busy to consistently get back with me in a timely manner, whereas every fledgling business or unknown handyman-next-door blows up my phone. read more

I hired this company in part due to the recommendation of another contractor that seemed passionate about customer service and I liked that. That contractor has since pulled further and further away (as have others) as I've shared some of the trials and tribulations of working with this company. I had a large, fairly complex project on which I needed this company to deliver. I hired them to remove flooring due to water damage which led to mold. I wanted them to install approximately 2,000 SF of tile, carpet in 4 bedrooms and my loft, and luxury vinyl plank on the stairs and upstairs bathroom. The cost estimate exceeded $40k. Unfortunately, the project was plagued with problems nearly throughout. A few examples include: not correctly documenting things, communication issues, and workers who did not treat my home or me with respect, including leaving doors wide open with the AC on after repeatedly requesting they stop doing that, leaving lights on after they left for the day, leaving doors and windows open and unlocked at the end of the day, and the list goes on and on. While it is not uncommon to have a problem or two on such a big project, the communication devolved into openly hostile and aggressive conduct as the project neared the end. Despite not coming out to visit my home and see the work that was done, answer any questions/concerns and ensure my satisfaction, I was threatened via text with a mechanic's lien while I was at my office without my cell phone. The work had not been completed to my satisfaction or in accordance with the contract, but instead of trying to make it right, the owner and his salesperson would argue and rudely disrespect and threaten me with legal action (mechanic's lien). Stop searching for your flooring company because here it is! Where do I begin? Okay, for one, my floors look AMAZING! But I'll get back to that in a bit and post pictures soon. I worked with Tony. He came out for the consultation on time. He called ahead to let me know he was on the way. He put on the shoe covers. He spent a full hour asking me questions, taking measurements on his fancy iPad (PCF has really cool software, too), and giving me information. He brought out some samples. He showed me like 2 or 3 and then I said, "What's that one?" and that ended up being what I went with. It's a dark engineered hardwood floor. He even made an appointment for me to come out to the warehouse to look at other options. He just took the time to help me make an informed flooring decision. I still ended up going with the one I first picked. When it came time to sign the contract, they drove it to me to sign because of my schedule and then scanned it in and sent it to me. The installation crew was on time every day. They called when they were about 20-30 minutes out. They closed up the house each night and I would let them inside in the morning. The dust from removing the old carpet was less than what I thought. It was dusty, but not awful or over the top. They asked me where I wanted the furniture moved back to and they put everything where I wanted. I had a verticle blind that was loose before they came. I noticed on one of the days that I let them in the house that the blind was on the table. No biggie, it's not like they broke it. The crew took the time to fix it and put it back up! I bought adhesive felt pads for my furniture legs. The crew put the pads on everything. I went with the remaining pads to put on the furniture I had stored in the garage and they had already done it! They put pads on the furniture I had stored in my garage. I didn't ask them to do that. See what I mean? Above and beyond. The installation crew did such a good job. The details are all on point! The corners, the transitions, the closets - no short cuts. The stairs! I was shocked they did it so quickly - they were done in 3 days. I have a 1000 sq ft townhouse. They ripped out my old carpet and redid the entire house, INCLUDING the stairs, in 3 days. THREE DAYS! I couldn't be more pleased with the work and experience working with Perfect Choice Flooring. Crappy work. They use the wrong subflooring. It was supposed to be 3/4 in as per contract. The materials used were beyond poor. Took way too long.. 3 days to install and left the whole house open with no floor at all! Soaked a poor old lady for 6,500!! Didn't even last 3 years.. Floors are warped and cracking. Beware!! I had five companies provide quotes. Perfect Choice Flooring appeared to be the ". We had them install luxury vinyl planking (LVP) (with the matching transitions) that we purchased at Home Depot. We also decided to buy and install the quarter-round molding ourselves, as that was less expensive. We are very unhappy, due to several problems: 1. Neither of the men who installed the flooring spoke English, and we don't speak Spanish, so we were unable to communicate to them the concerns we had. I don't care about a person's ethnicity, but I need to be able to have a two-way dialogue as expensive and important (to me). 2. When I asked the salesman what preparations I needed to do prior to the installation, he told me to make sure everything was three feet off of the floor, other than the heavy furniture, which they would move. We moved out all of the smaller furniture. That was fine, BUT WE WERE NOT INFORMED OF THE EXTREME CONCRETE DUST AND FILTH that would be created due to the installation. THEREFORE, nothing in the house was covered with tarps or removed. EVERYTHING must be cleaned, windows, ceiling fans, mirrors (there are thirteen on one wall), pictures, artwork, etc., everything I had taken out of the pantry and placed out of the way (I thought) on the kitchen counters; Four tapestries and six large quilts hanging on the walls must be dry-cleaned, and two sets of curtains and five fabric custom-made accordion blinds must be professionally cleaned. The upholstered furniture must be professionally cleaned. So far I have spent six days washing everything (as of the date of this review) and I have had to hire a professional house-cleaner to help. And I am not done. 3. The two toilets were to be removed and reinstalled by Perfect Choice Flooring, per the estimate both parties agreed to. HOWEVER, neither of the laborers knew how to remove or reinstall the toilets, and my husband had to come home from work to take care of that. In the end, they re-installed one toilet, and that was it. 4. The transitions that were to be installed where the LVP meets doorways were done as if by six-year olds - just an awful job installing each transition. My husband had to call and talk to Johnny about having new transitions installed correctly. Then they were done correctly, and we did deduct the cost of the ruined transitions. 5. There was almost no caulking done, with excuses made by them instead. Therefore, we did NOT END UP WITH A FINISHED FLOOR INSTALLATION. To be completely fair, the actual LVP flooring is nicely installed, and we purchased berber carpet from them and that was nicely installed with a good padding. We're happy with the carpet. read more

I just can't rave enough about working with this company to have my vinyl plank flooring installed. I bought my flooring from another company but after reading the Yelp reviews, decided to give these guys a call for installation. Within a couple of days, Tony showed up to give me a quote (which was just what the big box stores give you so don't waste your time) and the installation was scheduled when I needed it. There was a glitch with the store I bought my flooring from but Jay and team worked with me and it was all straightened out within a couple of hours. Even though it set his installation team back a couple of hours, Jay was always pleasant and worked wonders. The installation guys were professional and kept a very clean work space as well. I did due diligence getting 4 total quotes from the big names. I am glad that I contacted Perfect Choice Flooring. The initial visit by Tony (sales) was enlightening in comparison to the three others. Tony asked questions and discovered what was best for my project. To my surprise of the 4 quotes, Perfect Choice was the least expensive. I was surprised because I assumed the quality of the solutions offered would be more then the other quotes. Regardless, I had such confidence from our initial meetings, I likely would have paid a little more to use them. The installation took two days and being I'm disabled, it was a bit more challenging for Perfect Choice's crew, but they delivered A+. I can not recommend Perfect Choice flooring enough! read more

My experience with this company was absolutely dismal. I needed some minor flooring repair. They told me that the earliest they can come for an inspection is in 6 weeks. Since it was not an urgent issue, I agreed. The fun now started: on the scheduled day of inspection, nobody showed up. I call the company about 3 hours pass the scheduled time and they had no clue that nobody came to my house yet. The lady on the phone told me that she will find out what's going on and call me right back, what she never did. After I called again another hour or so later, she told me that there was some issue with the car, and that the technician won't make it to my house on that day. I was then rescheduled for the next day. On the next day, nobody showed up again. After I called an hour or so later, this time the delay was apparently due to a bad weather, but the technician was apparently on the way to my house. I was promised that they call me once they have the estimated time of arrival. Nobody called me and the technician never came. When I tried to call back this time, nobody was picking up the phone and my calls went straight to the voicemail, although I called well within the working hours. And that was it. I never heard from them again. I contacted another company that week. They came to make the assessment the next day and fixed the issue for a very reasonable price the next week. I can't speak to the quality of work of Perfect Choice Flooring, since they never showed up, but if you are looking for a reliable and trustworthy flooring company, look somewhere else. read more

I used Perfect Choice Flooring to install my 700 SF of laminate flooring which I had purchased from Lowe's. I originally planned to install the flooring myself but had gotten too busy at work. So, I decided to post the project. Late Friday February 8th about 3:30 PM I submitted my project and received a long list of installers. I picked three of the more experienced and highly rated installers to contact. Since Perfect Choice had the most ratings and the highest average rating; I naturally planned to call them first. But, before I could make the call my phone rang at 3:45 PM. It was Jonny Sibrian who is the President of Perfect Choice. Talk about Jonny on the spot! We discussed all aspects of the project, Perfect Choice's services, how/what they did for an installation, underlayment, and costs. The best news was they could do it the next day starting Saturday between 8-9 AM; and I liked their emphasis on having highly skilled employees doing quality work. The price was fair, they emphasized installation quality, the underlayment was high quality, and the timing was perfect. What not to like? I cancelled the other calls. The crew of 4 arrived Saturday at 9 AM sharp, scoped out the installation area and transition points, asked me some questions, and then jumped right on removing the old flooring. I went to run an errand for 1-1/2 hours. When I returned they were half done; and rocking and rolling. No wasted effort with these guys. It was like poetry in motion. They were clearly an experienced team who had worked together for a long time. I walked around some checking out what had been installed thus far. I didn't find a single flaw and every fit was tight as a tick on a hog. They finished at noon. With the clean-up, inspection, paperwork, and payment completed; they were on their way by 12:30 PM. In 3 hours they removed all the old flooring and put in their two vans to haul away, installed the underlayment, installed the 700 SF of planks in two rooms, cut and installed the three transitions, cut and nailed quarter round along all baseboards, and cleaned up. It has been a week and I still haven't found a single flaw. The floor is solid as a rock, quiet as a church mouse, and looks great! Perfect Choice was the perfect decision! Do NOT hire these people! My experience with them was the WORST of any contractor I've ever hired!! Their Salesperson lied about the Installers. The Installers are SUBS, NOT employees, so they show up and leave whenever they want. Then they told us our doors would have to be cut to fit the new flooring, and they wanted MORE Money for that!!! When they arrived, because they quoted the job wrong, they tried to charge more money because they had to do more work. They pushed us for a fast installation date, and then when they arrived LATE, they would never tell us when they would be able to finish!!! I had to tell both the VP and Owner I would cancel the job before they would agree to finish on time!!! And not ONCE during this horrible experience did either the VP or Owner offer to make any adjustment in their price for all the problems they caused!!! My next step is the BBB and State Attorney General!!!! read more

I found this company here on Yelp. I called for an estimate and Jay came out the same day. I needed new flooring for three bedrooms ASAP but intended to shop around to find the right company to get the job done. PCF was the first company to give me estimate, but I decided to go with them instead of interviewing few more companies. Reasons- 1. I did my research so I knew I was getting a fair price with PCF 2. Great reviews (Yelp, Google, Home Advisor, etc.) 3. The way Jay conducted estimate gave me insight into their company culture ( they want to do the job right, make the customer happy, they expect repeat clients). I signed the contract, paid the down payment on the same day. The company run a tight ship. Their contract is very straight forward, checklist for sales person to go over so there is no misunderstanding. No upselling. No surprises. No hidden charges. Best of all, no delays!!! I had new floors on my 3 bedrooms two days later. The team of two people were one of the best workers I've seen in my life. They showed up earlier than their scheduled time (they called and asked first). They worked quietly and diligently for four hours straight. And they did such an excellent job. My 87year old German Grandpa said they did a great job, and he knows quality work. By the way, I replaced 2 Terrazo floored bedrooms and one concrete floored bedroom to Luxury Vinyl Plank. I'm so happy that I went with PCF. I highly recommend them and I would hire them again. read more
