Stay away from 50Floor. From the time the sales person enters your home you are given nothing but lies and deceit. You do not get a copy of the contract until after you sign his I Pad, and when he leaves your home you get the contract you signed emailed to you. 50Floor installed a floor in my home, not with the material I was shown by the salesman, but with factory seconds. I looks like the floor has dirt stains, but these stains are molded into the floor. Never, ever sign an Arbitration agreement as you has no recourse. This is just one item the sales person lied about. I asked if there was an Arbitration Agreement, he said "NO". I saw it on my email. Again, stay far away from 50Floor! read more

50 Floor installed hardwood floors upstairs and on stairwell in March 2022. Initially, the floors looked great; however over the past three years, the floors are coming apart. The boards are separating, and loosing from beneath, creating a trip hazard on the second floor. I have attempted to reach out to them multiple times, and it is very difficult to get someone on the phone. I called once and spoke with someone in customer service and never heard back. After placing a review on Google, someone contacted me once via text and said they would get back to me in a few days--never heard from them again. I called customer service on 4/20 and they claim someone talked to me on 3/31 to inform they would replace with left over boards at a cost--not true--never spoke with anyone. They logged yet another ticket claiming they will get back to me. If I had known the floors would only last 3 years (for a cost over $12,000), I would have never purchased floors from 50 floor. They have the worse customer service ever. Often the phone hangs up and requires multiple call backs. I feel like we were scammed with shotty work. Will never use them again for any type of work. read more

They broke my oven door. They left my walls and trim looking TERRIBLE. They are overpriced and made promises they nene intended to keep. The sales woman was full of crap and nobody answers their phone when there is an issue. My next step is the Better Business Bureau but I did file a complaint with the Attorney General's Office already. read more

50 Floor is quick and good when it comes to getting the installation done. They want that business. But once that is done, it's hard to get service. The planks on the floor was separating. Let me go back...they tell you service/warranty for 25 years, what they don't tell you is after 1year, they charge you to come out. 75.00 service call, and if anything needs replacin/repaired 250.00. Dana Mason is C/S mgr and he will not return any calls. I have a big problem with these ppl. I will not recommend them. Or get an understanding first. read more

We had fired Empire and decided to give 50 Floor a chance and so glad we did. From the salesperson to the two installers we are thrilled with the work that was done. We had two bedrooms, the hallway and the stairs carpeted and it looks beautiful. The salesman was very helpful and the men who installed the carpeting were excellent. They were very professional from the moment they showed us the roll of carpeting in the truck to the end of the job clean up. We have used (50floor in Tampa) in the past and they were great. Decided to go with them again to have vinyl flooring installed in an office room, but now having a few issues with the installation. We had the in-home consultation and was told we didn't have to remove anything in the room and we didn't. The installation guys came and wouldn't do the installation due to they only move furniture, and we had to reschedule. If we had not been told we didn't have to move anything, we would have removed the items in question. I called and talked with the Mgr, Chris and he listened and said he would call me right back. That was three days ago and he still have not called me back. This kind of customer service is not acceptable. I called several times afterwards and the phone agents told me the same thing that Chris would call and he does the scheduling. Getting fed up, so I reached out today to the sales person, Kim (who did the in-home consultation with us) and asked her to check on when the vinyl flooring would be installed. (50floor in Tampa) was paid upfront from us and now after the sale, we want to get what we have paid for. She said she was going to call them shortly. WAITING TO HEAR BACK.......Today, 21st January I called for the 5 or 6 time to 50floor and finally got to speak with Chris. Mentioned to him that he didn't return my call (4 days ago) and he gave some reason why. But anyway, we are scheduled now to have the floor installed this Saturday the 24th. Back in 2022 I had them redo my kitchen and office. What was to be a 1 day job took 3 days, and 8 additional trips for installation issues. I had several people from the Tampa office even come to my house to see the horrible job that was done, because they didn't believe my description or pictures. 2 years later, boards are buckling and breaking. Call them because it's under warranty, and shocker, original installation was incorrect. Since I needed to get my living room done, due to the transition issues from bad install, I had that done. This time it took 1 day and 4 additional trips because of poor installation. They left nails under the boards that punctured my foot. Go with anyone else to avoid the frustration! read more

If you are looking for the worst customer service experience go to 50FLOOR. I had floors installed on 3/31/25 and waited 3 months before all of the installation issues were resolved. Had to call numerous times with everyone stating it was someone else's responsibility. I wouldn't recommend 50FLOOR for any type of flooring. I had an emergency come up and I had to cancel my order. Unfortunately we had to complete a huge expense and did have the extra money to make the other half of the floor install payment and I requested a cancellation and refund. I called various times and spoke to various people. The last person I spoke to told me management had to review my request but it wasn't promised that they would. I asked to get a call back fr someone and he told me they were very busy and didn't do many call backs. I was floored. How do you do business like that?!? I was planning on using them in a few months because I like the lifetime warranty. Forget it now, never again. I should've read all of these negative reviews before I called them. I will hopefully be moving to a new community, if I resolve my issue, and I will post on the community page not to use this company. I'm also leaving a Google review. Attitude is not appreciated. Even if they have a great deal i wouldn't trust them to do a good job based on the similar reviews I've read. Here is my 50 Floor review It's really a quite clever scam that 50 floor has going. How it works. They get a slick sales guy out to give you an "estimate". This guys sole role is to sell you an overpriced floor. They will promise the world just to get you to sign. They use this common gimmick where they show you one price which is really high and then show you a special discounted price which is actually still really high. Mine was comical. "Original price $23,000 but today only it will be $13,000". That's for about 1000 sf of flooring. I should have bailed then as I hate these shady sales tactics. Either way, onto the floor install. What 50 floor does is contract the labor out to someone else, they basically don't do anything but sell you the floor. In my case it was 3 laborers on the first day and then only 2 on the second day. The first day of the install one of the guys spoke perfect English, by the second day when I tried to convey some concerns to the same individual they could no longer speak English. Maybe this is how they avoid extra work? Fast forward a couple of days and I start to notice some really shoddy work. Stuff that they would have known was not properly done left for me to find days later. I decide I'm going to call up 50 floors and let them know about the the issues, they ask for me to send pics of the aforementioned shoddy work so I happily oblige. They tell me they can have the installers come back out, great. After that they ghosted me and stopped responding. So here I am left already fixing shoddy work a week after I pay these guys $13,000. I was getting estimates through Yelp and by phone, for various types of flooring. I found 50 Floor via a social media site's advertising. We had already had two estimates from two other competitors, one for the Coretec Plus Herringbone I had my heart set on, the other for the vinyl plank. Jason called me earlier in the week to set up the appointment for Friday, May 6, with Joe Correa. Joe showed up today, on time, after calling to confirm the ETA. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and I was relieved to find out he has been doing this for well over four decades. My husband and I pummeled him with questions as he showed us quite a few samples, and he had thorough answers for each of our queries. He also explained why they don't do the Coretec, and the advantages and disadvantages/durability of each type of flooring we were considering. We ended up choosing a medium "wood" knotty-look. I took some pics of some of the samples, since I liked the lighter, or the very dark, and my husband liked the medium the best. Will update the review after they come to do our living room, master bedroom, office and hallway. He said they would have the work done in about two days. The rest of our house is already tiled and we want rid of the carpet to make it easier to clean/better on allergies. We were able to get 0% interest for one year, which is something I felt I could live with. The other available option was 9% interest (through Wells Fargo) if paid off in several years (over 60+ months). read more

Updated after response: we have been apologized to plenty. Still no contact a week later!!! Stop taking advantage of people!!!!!!! My disabled parents hired this company to install flooring in Florida. 5 adults were in the room when The salesman said no glue would be used and it was moisture proof. The floor started peeling up and has glue coming through the seams almost immediately. We have been trying for 9 months to get them to help. All they do is fail to do what they say, string you along until the warranty is up and ignore all attempts to resolve. Read their HUNDREDS of bbb complaints before hiring. 50 Floor replaced my floor in 2019. Within six months the vinyl floors started buckling and bowing. I called the company, they had the same guy who installed the floor, come out and take a look. He pulls up a floorboard and takes a video in Spanish and then tells me that I have a leak and that's what's causing the floors to bow so I let it go. I finally replaced my floors with a different company and they said it had nothing to do with a leak, it's that they didn't properly level the floor so that's what caused the issue. I showed them a picture of what he was calling a leak and they said that was my pipes in the foundation. It had nothing to do with the vinyl floors falling apart. It was shoddy craftsmanship. I spent a ton of money to replace the floors in 2019 and had to redo them again just a couple of years later. Don't waste your money. Find a better company who will do it right the first time. read more

We recently had flooring installed in a home we purchased. Initially, having the salesman visit in person felt like a big advantage. He said all the right things to make us feel confident they had everything under control - from scheduling to how they source their installers. We were assured the job would be completed in a single day. We paid the 50% deposit and selected our installation DATE. Unfortunately, everything went downhill from there. When the installers arrived with several people, we were hopeful. But then they informed us that only a couple of them would be working, and anything they wouldn't be able to finish would be completed the next day. We explained that wasn't an option because we wouldn't be available the following day. While we were frustrated with the installers, I tried to understand they didn't want to make promises they couldn't keep. My real frustration is with 50Floor for not being upfront and requiring a two-day installation from the start. Suddenly the salesman went from I am here for you through this entire process, to I don't give a crap. When I say they truly didn't care, I mean it. The installers worked rather late to finish up (maybe a little sloppy due to the rush). Lesson learned - we won't be using them again! read more

The worst possible company we could have chosen. The sales rep took our order stating he works independently and our savings is in his best interest. Nothing about free installation or holiday discounts was true. When the installers arrived they tore up all sub floor and came down to us and said they had to leave and couldn't do job. They proceeded to criticize our builder and said they couldn't install flooring on stairwell and didn't know what to do. They tried to leave 4 times with all pulled apart and we had to beg them to stay. They opened all the doors for some strange reason (we had no idea as were downstair) and completely covered everything in construction debris. They left our bed uncovered in the middle of our master bedroom and it was totally ruined. They did not move or cover anything!!! We had to spend the whole night and weekend cleaning and buy a new bed. They scratched all our walls after we told them we had just painted. We called Joe Bell in Tampa office as was given his number. He told me I was "entitled to buy a new bed" and refused to give us insurance information to be reimburse. I asked if they were an insured company and he replied, "none of your business" I've never been treated so poorly and with such disrespect. I said I had no choice and he said I couldn't speak and needed to listen to him! He said "I'm talking" This is after spending 7,000$ Were truly in shock over how this company especially Joe Bell of Tampa made us feel. Disgusted. Do not hire these people!!!!!!! No choices, incompetence from start to finish and do NOT care about their customers. They will not take responsibility for anything! Plenty of companies. I should have known when the salesperson called me wanting to come earlier and I told him that I had planned my morning and I didn't want him to come earlier than the arranged time, but he came 5 minutes early anyway, then this was not going to turn out well. And boy, it sure did not. Being a single woman, if I have a strange man come into my house, I take their picture, so if anything happens the police have a starting point of where to look. He did not like to have his picture taken, when I asked him to see ID the only ID he showed me was something that could have been made up on any computer, didn't show me his driver's license, didn't show me anything that could truly identify him. So with that wonderful start, he took a look around and I could see the disdain on his face. I know this house isn't in the best shape, that's why I called someone to give me a bid on doing the floors. Evidently this company does not do any affordable options. According to this salesman, this company only does high-end flooring, luxury floors, & unless I wanted to do hardwood floors, luxury vinyl planking, luxury laminate floors, there was absolutely nothing that this company did that could help my situation. I couldn't tell from their online ads that they only went high-end. And to be honest I'm not sure that they do only do high end, I think this salesperson was not willing to do this sale unless he was going to make a huge commission. He didn't want this job so he overbid and gave me a ridiculous price. I've known contractors before and that's a common tactic that they use when they don't want a job, they give you such a ridiculously high bid that if you're stupid enough to accept it they would be stupid to refuse to do the job, and if you said no he didn't want the job anyway. There is no way that I would recommend this company to anyone regardless of if they wanted a high-end floor or not. If, in fact, they only do high end floors, they should do some screening for that when you call them to make the appointment. But if they do all kinds of floors, then this guy had better be the owner of the company because otherwise they need to fire him and get someone that is out there making sales with people who want to go ahead and spend their money. He even implied that I could not afford to have the floors done! When I told him that I wasn't going to accept his high-end bid, he immediately took $2,000 off the price and said well what about that? At this point there's nothing that this company could do to make me hire them to upgrade my house, even if they offered to do it for free. read more

We purchased Dreamweaver carpeting from this company. We are extremely unhappy with the carpet! Heavy vacuum and footprint markings and splotches all over. Dreamweaver is dithering over taking responsibility for their product. But 50 Floor is bending over backwards to transform us into satisfied customers!!! They are sending a Sales Rep out tomorrow, so we can select replacement carpet. Needless to say, it will NOT be Dreamweaver. Had a leak and had to have flooring throughout my home replaced. Contacted 50 Floor who came out promptly and educated us on the different materials we could choose from. We were close to Christmas and didn't think we'd have it all done prior to the holiday. 50 Floor was able to get our floor completed prior to Christmas and did an excellent job!
