Since we were relocating from out of state, we wanted the flooring done before we arrived. We even had our realtor leave a lockbox so measurements could be taken in advance. We finalized the details and paid the deposit on June 26th -- then communication completely dropped off. No updates. No responses to follow-ups. Nothing. My husband finally drove down to Florida on July 7th to figure out what was going on -- only to find that demo had just started, two weeks later. Worse, the wrong areas were demoed, including our kitchen, hallway, and bathroom, which delayed work on our daughter's room. That alone made this experience extremely stressful for our family. Installation didn't begin until July 14th, and our furniture (already delayed and sitting in storage) was scheduled to arrive the 18th. Flooring was incomplete, and we were told if we delayed furniture again, they couldn't guarantee a future delivery date. We ended up picking up additional materials ourselves on July 21st, just to keep things moving. I had to call again on the 23rd to find out when they'd finish. They finally came on July 26th to complete the last room. The crew was friendly and the floors look nice now, but we had to ask them to reinstall all the doors and finish the master bathroom. The lack of communication throughout this entire process was unacceptable. We still have more rooms to do, but we will not be using Flooring Master again. We can't recommend them to anyone.

The project cost us almost $1800 more than the many invoices had indicated & even though they had all the material costs up front, they refused to deliver them until the labor costs (including the extra $1800) were paid on full, We did not get the installation agreement until we paid in full, To demand labor costs without telling you what your paying for seems questionable and to refuse to deliver materials that have been paid for until you pay labor costs in full is certainly not a common business practice. UPDATE - READ BELOW:…read more I'm really disappointed because we had a great experience with Bob's in Wesley Chapel before. Carpet installation finished earlier today. Every room has loose edges that lift away from the subfloor and padding. Some of these areas are several feet long. Other areas in the center of the floors can be tented several inches up with a light pinch of the material between my fingers. Carpeting on the stairs is also extremely loose with several areas that area are entirely unsecured by tack strips or adhesive. This was not the case for the outgoing carpet. Both kids bedrooms have loose material, frayed edges and visible rippling/bubbling of carpet over the subfloor. It's unsightly but worst of all it's unsafe. Loose carpet on stairs is a major trip hazard and we have children. The entire job must be redone to repair the unacceptable worksmanship. It's a major inconvenience for my family and I won't be paying the balance until it's done right. I couldn't leave a message at this location because there's was no way to do so. Line just rang and rang as of 330p Tuesday afternoon 8/29. UPDATE - 9/21 Install team for the carpet RE-INSTALLATION arrived without enough carpet to properly repair all the issues the original installation team caused. GM from the store Debra M clearly told me and my wife that the "entire [carpet] would have to be replaced" to account for all the messy seams, frayed edges and loosely secured material. Today, the installer arrived with a complicated handwritten chart that detailed how to deconstruct the carpet and patch it back together so that all areas needing attention would be recovered. Only a minimal amount of new material was ordered because leadership determined it was better than replacing everything (as was explicitly discussed with me at the outset of this nightmare). The very competent installer quickly concluded the new, cheaper, solution was inappropriate and, in fact, impossible given the nature of the mistakes he was charged with fixing. In short, he did not have what he needed to get the job done because someone at Bob's had decided to cut corners and take a shot at fixing things on the cheap. They've wasted my time and theirs and will still wind up replacing all of my carpet, but heaven knows it will take weeks to months. I've contacted corporate and begun the process of escalation. My review remains 1 out of 5 stars.

The 2 men who installed the flooring and tile were friendly and had great attention to detail. I didn't know I could love baseboards!! Even a year later, the business answers any concerns i have. If I had to do it again I wouldn't go anywhere else. I also got the newer waterproof flooring, it's great. I don't like tile so it was a great choice for me. It's stood up to spills, cat puke, and cleaning. People who visit this is real wood.

After paying a 50% deposit on July 10, I was told I would be scheduled immediately. That didn't happen. I had to follow up multiple times just to get a start date. Communication was poor and unprofessional, with broken promises and missed callbacks. The crew finally arrived on July 29. The tile was installed with an extremely thin grout line--something I was never asked to approve but chose to accept. They said they would return the next day to grout and then come back the following day to move the heavy furniture back, which was the agreement I had in place with their representative. Instead, they grouted the next day and replaced the furniture less than an hour later, ignoring the recommended 24-hour grout curing time. When I called the project manager, his dismissive response was, "What do you want them to do?" The crew came back to remove the furniture, clearly annoyed, and became argumentative and disrespectful in my home. One even said they used a thin grout line specifically so they could move the furniture sooner. Later, I was contacted by someone in management, Jonny Sibrian, whose tone was equally rude and condescending. I explained I was arranging a third-party inspection to ensure the tile wasn't damaged due to rushed furniture placement or the use of vinegar (an acidic cleaner that can harm uncured grout). Instead of understanding, he accused me--twice--of trying to avoid paying my bill and even made a veiled threat. I've always paid for quality work, and I fully intend to pay the balance if the job passes inspection. But the lack of professionalism, poor communication, and disrespect I experienced with this company were unacceptable. I would not recommend Perfect Choice Flooring to others based on how I was treated or the quality of their work.
