My rep, Matt is a bug lover (loved bugs growing up as a kid, so he seemed to understand and know his bugs ), which is a great repertoire of knowledge and helps educate average folks like me. If I could change anything, it would be the warranty. Another company offered 5-year for the same product, but overall I was most comfortable going with Simply Green. Kudos to Katie for her responsiveness to questions. D-Day.. rep was accommodating. He pretty much carried out the tasks as described by Matt. No surprises. At my request, remedied the inside first so we could reposition furniture and get the interior back to normal (spot treatments into the wall plus topical filler. Paint touchups not included, but that was disclosed upfront.) Then, our external side wall which is actually our neighbor's side yard (so we could wrap up disturbing the neighbor and could reposition their yard furnishings.) And finally the rest of our external perimeter. Overall we're happy with the service and hopeful no further termite issues for at least 7 years (we bought the 10-year product which realistically may last 7+ years, but warranteed by Simply Green for 3 years.)

We'd jumped up on the flat roof a few times and hadn't been able to get any sightings. Along with this, we found a dead black widow, so we decided it was time and had Urban Desert Pest Control come out. The great news was no evidence of roof rats! The even better news was that instead of charging us for placing traps anyway, Urban Desert Pest Control realized that our "pet" squirrels that live in our backyard were probably getting up there to play and placed some filters over vents to prevent the squirrels from getting into the vents. Guess what? Noises went away. Nice to work with a company that focuses on the individual customer instead of implementing a general approach for every single situation.

I felt like he was honest in his recommendations and I felt comfortable with the product that he chose to use would be safe for my young family and pet. Incredible customer service -- and I appreciate that in between visits they will come back out if needed for free to reinspect if you see any bugs. Our first visit was less than $100 so I feel like that's a great value, considering that he walked the entire perimeter of our home with a broom and checked every nook and cranny luckily he only found two spider webs. Yesterday was the day I talked my husband into letting me get an exterminator to come deal with our…read morecrickets. I am SO OVER the crickets. I found three places here on yelp and Bulwark was the first one to call me back. Never have I ever been so excited to pick up an unknown number. I told the nice lady on the phone all about my problems and she explained to me Bulwark's process, gave me $50.00 off, and set me up for an appointment between 7-11 am this morning. Like. Less than 24 hours! Samuel Decker showed up bright and early, around 7:10. He also walked me through Bulwark's process, throughly investigated my home inside and out, and most importantly, LISTENED to me. You know a lot of folks don't listen, they are too busy thinking of what they want to say, but Sam is not one of those folks. I showed him the places where I see the creepy crawlies most often and he explained to me where and how they enter my home and how he plans on stopping them. Sam is a dog dad, he understands that I need to make sure the chemicals they are using are safe for pets. He told me all about the chemical composition (chrysanthemums!), how quickly it dries, and how we are bigger than bugs and have different bodies so we would have to drink A LOT of it and we wouldn't do that because it tastes yucky. Sam sprayed my home, took down the spider webs I hadn't even noticed, gave the ants some take out food to carry to their queen, put down traps near points of entry, talked as he worked so I would know why he was doing what he was doing, and said he'll see me in 60 days - but to reach out if we see anything in the interim; they cover breakthrough bugs. Sam asked me if I had any exciting plans for the weekend and I told him "YOU are my exciting plan." Thank you Sam and Bulwark for the quick and professional service. Maybe I won't have to nuke this place from orbit and move to Siberia. Haha.
