During the day Alejandra repaired a bridesmaids dress and made sure I ate and stayed well hydrated. Estivalys was with me the entire wedding, helping me bustle my dress, and even helped me get my shoes on when I wanted to do a shoe change. She thought of everything and reminded me to enjoy all the moments. My husband will not stop raving about Gerald, G. He is attentive, friendly and was on top of everything. He went above and beyond to make sure the groomsmen had everything they needed from the morning to the evening. Then we met our Maitre'd', Mikheil--and he was OUT OF THIS WORLD. He runs the show, and he runs it flawlessly. You don't have to think about a single detail because Mikheil has it covered before you even know you need it. His experience and intuition make the entire event seamless. And the food... beyond incredible. The presentation, the quality, the flavors--everything is superb. We had a photographer provided who took some great shots and allowed us parents to enjoy the day. Was a great experience, however, the one thing that was missing is they do not offer glazing that other pottery places like Color Me Mine do. However we will be back as it's close by and good selection of pottery to choose from as well as being clean.

I told Anthony I wanted an 80s/90s themed party for my 40th and that I would be coming in costume as Madonna, and he had several awesome recommendations, including who to reach out to to have disco balls installed on the dance floor and how to decorate the space. I also want to give Sean, the manager who oversaw my event, a special thanks!!! He treated me like royalty, anticipating my every need and was incredibly organized and kept me on schedule. I had three different outfits and he had his eye on the clock, shuttling me back and forth on his golf cart to the bridal suite when it was time for an outfit change. I also performed a solo dance to Madonna's "Like a Prayer," which went really well, thanks to Sean being so on the ball!! He moved the party guests from the bar area to the dance floor and coordinated with the DJ so I could make a surprise entrance from the rear of the building! I had a very good conversation with the owner, who assured me that the experience was "appropriate" for a corporate group and a holiday event. The cost was high, but I chalked that up to the interactive nature of the event. I was told this would indeed be an interactive experience and while we wouldn't necessarily cook the entire meal ourselves, we would certainly be cooking and interacting with the chef. I was shocked, disappointed, and embarrassed with the experience. First, we walked into what looked like a kids birthday venue, with a giant sign that read "Happy Birthday Layla" (this was a white board, so at the very least it could have been cleaned off, if not had our event name on it). There were picnic tables and plastic table cloths. No cooking stations. We were seated at the picnic tables, and at our place setting was a plastic bowl with two mushrooms in it. This was the extent of our "interactive cooking experience". We did not cook -- we chopped two mushrooms and later, a banana. Literally. The chef cooked in front of us on a burner and showed us how she made the items. We sat at picnic tables and were served on paper and plastic. The food itself was fine (Chicken Marsala, sauteed spinach, salad (bagged?), avocado with bacon and blue cheese with chips, banana foster) and the staff was lovely to deal with -- courteous, polite, informative. But this was a FAIL from my POV and only worth one star (generously) bc the experience I was sold and promised did not match with what we received.

We worked with the team at BDS to come up with a perfectly curated palette of colors to go with my "little cutie" theme (orange, pink, and yellow), and they put together a stunning organic arch and collections of balloons throughout the venue (a dreamy white tent). They even included clementine balloons in a few of the bunches to tie into the "little cutie" theme! It was truly swoon-worthy.
