Cajun fries, chicken tenders and plain fries
Stefanie C.

The place is okay. We had a couple issues with our lane and had to reset the pins at least 5 times. Some kind of glitch. We did get food here as well-- the cajun fries were bomb. Tenders were okay! This is a close to home spot so we will probably be back just because it's convenient.

PROS: Place seems to be clean and friendly. They have a snack bar, a bar, a game room, and arcade CONS: Unfortunately, the arcade is tiny and half the machines don't work, the bar was not being serviced, and there weren't as many lanes as other bowling alleys OVERALL: If you're in the area and you just want to bowl then go for it. But if you want the complete package of a bowling alley than this isn't the place

Had a very bad experience ... the people were extremely rude both at the bar and the main counter.. and the food was horrible

This place has been around for years. I remember my dad taking me here and now I take my son. I have never had a negative experience here and the staff is always available to help. Pro Shop- I purchased a new ball for my son and needed the holes drilled. The guy who works in the pro shop really knows his business. He took the time with my son trying to get the holes just right. Challenger League- They have a you challenger league which I would highly recommend. The program allows kids with disabilities to interact with each other in an nonjudgmental environment. The staff does an amazing job making sure the kids are having fun and adjust the game for everyone to play. . I would recommend that anyone with a special needs child check out the program My Favorite- Laser Lights on Saturday afternoon. I love bringing my son here for lunch and a few games. They are not too busy and you can normally get a lane as soon as you walk in. My kid loves the chicken fingers and fries so lunch works out well.

This is a real old/old style Jersey bowling alley. That's not a bad thing! We decided to go bowling one afternoon after a movie and this was our local alley. It was OK. The automated bowling lanes (I remember when you scored your own game) was quite old as well, probably one of the first automated lanes. There was a little greasy cafe in the bowling alley with very inexpensive, yet greasy food. It was like going back in time.

Stopped in for the first time and had a great experience. All the folks were friendly helpful and informative. Very clean, beautiful lanes, plenty of action. I should mention, we rarely bowl, just started to enjoy the experience. We look forward to returning.

When we arrived, everything was up and running as if it were daytime. All the games, rides and attractions were in service. I rode Go Karts for the first time in yearrrs and I actually came in first place. Me! That was dope. The BIG FUN though was all the water rides. Lazy River, pool tubing and the main pool were all open and full of people ready for a great time. We were treated to a DJ who understood the crowd assignment and shoutout to the most wonderful staff. All employees on this night were in a great mood and they gave party vibes too. The promoters didn't over sell this event, so crowds and lines weren't a problem at all. I had such a blast that I wasn't even mad about getting my phone wet. I'm looking forward to going back to The Funplex for another After Dark night out. I thought they were gonna shortchange us but that didn't happen. We were given the whole experience. Good stuff!

We got wristbands and although it was rainy on and off they were able to keep operating since there wasn't a danger such as thunder or lightning. Lines weren't long because of the weather. They provide life jackets. They have many lifeguards. There is a picnic area for the public but a separate one for birthday parties. Pizza and wings weee good. Had lots of refreshment options and also adult beverages you could purchase. The people working the birthday side were upbeat and friendly.

Morristown Game Vault

Cool Arcade game experience for aging millennials and kids alike, right in the heart of Morristown…read more The whole thing is built into an old Bank building, which means it includes a literal vault (with Tron and 1-2 other ultra-retro games hidden inside), high ceilings, and just enough space for like 100+ different arcade games - half of which are pinball machines, and the rest a good mix of games from as far back as the early 80s (like the OG PacMan and Donkey Kong, kinda deal), but with a healthy sprinkling of 90s and early 2000s options too like NBA Jam and Ninja Turtles etc. One of the really cool options they have is a couple of TVs hooked up to an N64 and a Nintendo, so you can play with/against up to 3 other people on stuff like Mario Kart 64. Price-wise, it's not bad either - the fun gimmick is that you don't need coins, all of the machines are built to just be playable automatically; you pay by the hour, as you exit the building. Was about $18.50 per person, which isn't too bad actually. Will absolutely come back if I'm ever in Morristown again.

No fumbling around with coins or bills. You get a wristband when you enter and just play. At the end, you pay based on the total amount of time you spent inside. Simple and convenient. They've got a huge collection of pinball machines along with all kinds of classic arcade games. I even got to sit down at the Nintendo setup and test my memory on Super Mario Bros. It's definitely an epic setup for anyone looking to spend an afternoon or evening diving into retro gaming. Also, the name "Vault" is perfect. The place is inside an old bank, and the safe deposit boxes are still in the vault beneath the TRON neon sign. Very cool atmosphere that adds to the whole experience. Highly recommended for gamers of all ages!

Adam is not just an amazing bartender, he's an amazing human being. If you're going to Frames, make sure you stop by the front bar and see Adam. To be fair, still prefer the booze, but health first. We got a package where we had two hours of bowling and a bit of karaoke. We got caesar salad, pigs in a blanket, nachos, and chicken tenders. All was good except the nachos. Skip it. After a game of bowling, some of us stayed and did some karaoke. Personally think this is a good place to bowl, sing, and do other things like pingpong and pool, but the location is not ideal. Port authority gets really sketchy after dark. Would not go out of my way seeking this place out.
