After spending two days of the holiday weekend…read moredealing with water leaking into our bathroom and then having to shut our water off and not having water for a large portion of the weekend, we struggled finding a plumber who was available to come and help us fix our problem. We called six plumbers and left messages and Lakeshore was the only company who was kind enough to actually call us back. Even though Lakeshore did not have emergency or holiday hours, they still called to let us know that they would put us on the schedule for first thing Tuesday morning, which was very kind of them because the uncertainty of not knowing was just as painful as the water that was flowing down our walls. They also told us that we should probably just turn our water back on when we needed it because our wall was going to need to be cut open anyhow. Lakeshore, as promised appeared on Tuesday morning and diagnosed the problem (which was unfortunately not a plumbing issue). The young man was polite and professional and timely. He called before he arrived and explained exactly what the problem could be. He took photos of the damage and suggested if the leak starts again to call them back. Really there was nothing anyone could do, but he was very nice about the whole debacle. We need to have three water shut off valves repaired because we discovered they no longer turn properly when we tried to turn the water off at the main and we will be calling Lakeshore back to fix them. Plumbers are expensive and fast polite service makes hiring one so much less stressful.
