I became a customer of Privileged Pets about a year and a half ago. I had a neighbor friend of mine walk my dog daily, but she managed to let him get loose twice, causing me to race home from work in a terrified panic. Fortunately, my dog was smart enough to stick close to home. I worried constantly while my precious dog was in her care, so I "fired" her and decided to work with a professional company. It's a bit more expensive, but the quality of care is so worth it to me. Over the past 18 months, I've had several walkers come walk my dog and visit with him for 30 minutes. They've all been reliable, and loving companions to my precious dog. It's such a relief to be able to concentrate at work and know that he's in good. hands. The owner does a good job of hiring responsible, dog-loving caretakers. What I particularly like is that each walker either texts me a quick update on how the visit went that day, or they leave a hand-written note. For some reason that comforts me. I'll keep using this company as long as I can afford them! read more

My husband and I have used Privileged Pets for many years to sit for our 2 dogs when we traveled. We've had 3 different sitters, and all three were extremely knowledgeable dog-loving ladies. Shanna, our last sitter for several trips, would text updates and pictures of our dogs to keep us at ease about their care. I used privileged pets for my dog to be watched at home while we were out of the country for one week. The service was perfect in every way. They walked the dog daily, fed him twice daily, played with him, fed the fish, got the mail, took packages inside that were delivered, rotated lights on/off in the house, and even made sure the pool stayed in good shape. I've been meaning to write this review for some time. I can say enough good about Fiona and her team. I've been using the pet sitting services to look after my cat since 2012. During this time I've lived in different areas of the Houston and the greater Houston area and had varying sized trips..sometimes at the last minute. I appreciate all the extras also- checking the mail, watering plants.. the most memorable was essentially the rescue of my cat in 2017 when I was stuck out of state for an extended time during Harvey. Fiona and Jack are great people! I used Privileged Pets for pet sitting my dog and cat when I had long days at work. The animals were well taken care of and the sitter always left notes to let me know how they did while I was away. I dropped by there today and happened to have my dog with me on the way to the park. Jack gave me some great advice on my dogs lead aggression and a quick tip on leash use. It was great. Tonight when we took our evening walk it was sooooo nice to actually walk my dog instead of my dog walking me! I highly recommend Priviliged Pets for thier sitting service and training! read more

I have used Privileged Pets as have my family and even a boss. I highly recommend them. I still remember the first time I hired them to come out to take care of my two. I got photos everyday of my furr babies along with daily texts letting me know they were ok. I don't know if this is normal within the industry or if it was just the care from my sitter but I would call that extraordinary. I have recommended them to anyone looking for a walker or someone to let the babies in/out and refill food/water. They certainly went above and beyond. It was about 3 weeks before Thanksgiving and we knew we were heading out of town for the Holiday. With a Terrier and Great Dane, we needed some help! Contacted Privileged Pets for help. They informed me that boarding the Great Dane over the holiday was going to be impossible (Not Surprised!, big dog, late notice) But what we were really interested in was home pet sitting, which they kindly offered as an option. The sitter came by for the meet-the-pets and was super friendly and clearly loves animals! We felt no apprehension leaving the keys to the castle in her hands! On Thanksgiving we were surprised with an adorable Happy Thanksgiving picture with our 2 dogs and cat! All of our friends and family were just as pleased as we were! The Great Dane has figured out how to get out of her crate and made a few messes, which the sitter cleaned for us. (Sorry about that, and THANKS AGAIN!!) Couldn't have had a better experience, and now that we've done it once, we will assuredly use PP again for any of our pet sitting needs! read more

SIX Stars in our household. Our children have fur and four legs but they are every bit as precious to us as if they were our flesh and blood. Our vet, who knows how we feel about our babies, recommended Privileged Pets and we have not been able to thank him enough. Having a friendly, professional and reliable person to care for them in their own home is the next best thing to us being there. Fiona and her staff love animals and take a personal interest in making sure that their needs are taken care of. We KNOW that if we have to travel our babies will receive the best of care and Desiree' is the BEST! She sends us texts and photos to ease our separation anxiety while making sure everyone gets extra special attention. We recommend Privileged Pets without reservation and have done so to several of our friends. Their rates are extremely reasonable, the staff top notch and the care is six-star. When your babies are rescue animals, any trip to a kennel or boarding facility can cause anxiety because they do not know if they have been abandoned again. Having them cared for at home eliminates that stress and helps them to adjust to you being gone. Last winter we were snow bound in New Mexico for two days, one call to Fiona and we knew our babies would be looked after until we could get home. read more

I have used Privileged Pets multiple times and they are by far the most professional business I have ever encountered. My dogs are family members, or as I call them, my first children. I would not leave them with just anyone. Privileged Pets entire staff is so kind and accommodating, they truly understand they are caring for my loved ones. Fiona and Jack have always gone above and beyond any requests that I have made. Their sitters are kind and my dogs are always so happy and content when we return. Both of my dogs can have separation anxiety, which is why we choose to have house visits to make it easier for them. Since I found Privileged Pets, anxiety has NEVER been a problem. We get home and my dogs are so happy and we are at peace knowing that they are in excellent hands. I am so very thankful to Privileged Pets and the incredible work Fiona and Jack do. After only a moment of interacting with them it is apparent that they are in this occupation for the love and care of the animals. They truly care about what they do and it pours out of them. This past Christmas Eve we had an emergency and I needed to go out of town on a moments notice. I had to call Fiona on Christmas Eve to see if she could possibly care for my doggies while we were gone. I thought I would never be able to get a sitter on such short notice especially during the holidays. Fiona called my back promptly on Christmas Eve! She told me not to worry. Fiona and Jack took care of our Bailey for over ten years. We sought them out when they were still in old Katy. We needed training for Bailey after our sons went off to college. Not only did Jack come to my house that day to help me but was completely professional and fixed our problem. From then on Bailey went to their kennel whenever we traveled out of town. She was always excited to get there and always came back well fed, happy and exhausted from playing with the other dogs which was a bonus as she only tolerated other dogs. She just passed away three weeks ago from cancer and she had stayed with them the week before that. They knew she would not be coming back and Fiona hugged and cried with me. I strongly encourage you, if you are considering the idea of leaving your beloved pet with this lady, to Look Elsewhere. In all the times that I have used a boarding facility, and I have used quite a few, I have never been required to sign a waiver pertaining to the death of my pets. If you just ask a simple question about this policy, she becomes very rude, noticeably angry and annoyed. She appears to not want to be bothered by pet owners who are concerned about their pet's livelihood. My question was regarding something along the lines of me not being able to be reached due to the remote location I would be staying at. Being that I had no other choose, because my flight was leaving in a few hours that same day, I agreed to sign. And also, given the fact that I have never experienced problems with any of the boarding facilities in the past and this one was much closer to me than the others, I decided to trust this woman with my beautiful dogs. The reason why I am writing this review, is because it appears this lady purposefully tried to poison my dogs. I say this because, when I came to pick them up, both of my dogs became very sick in her care and required immediate veterinary attention, which cost me hundreds of dollars to get them healthy and well again. Plus, the dog bed I left with my dogs, as well as my dogs, were covered in excrement/feces. I know it had nothing to do with change of diet or anything like that, because I had brought a huge bag of their food and it was almost gone. Plus, in the past I have switched their food and they have never become sick from it or if they did it was very mild. So my only conclusion would be that she tried to poison my dogs to prove her point that dogs can die at anytime. Which is true, but giving the circumstances and that my dogs were both only 2-3 years of age, it did not make any sense. This woman shills her own reviews and in my humble opinion does not like dogs or animals for that matter. I would advise her to find a different profession, since she the worst I have ever seen in this industry. read more
