As a fellow business owner myself, I understand how a negative review can affect your business…read more That's why I did my due diligence in reaching out to Nicole before leaving this review. My expectations were for her to address my concerns, provide even a small level of empathy and I'd continue using her services. Instead, Nicole provided an unacceptable level of customer service and professionalism as a whole. I was unhappy with my dogs grooming. His eyebrows were cut VERY short! He's a schnauzer so they are KNOWN for their beards and eyebrows. Not to mention all of his legs had the weirdest cut. It was long and somewhat fluffy in the back and short almost completely shaven on the front. I was shocked because in the past he's NEVER been cut this way. His last two grooming appts were done by another groomer at Cradled Pups. I can't remember her name but she cut my dog much better than Nicole ever has. I was actually disappointed when Nicole initially called to reschedule our last appt because the other groomer had a death in the family. However things happen and I completely understood. As another reviewer pointed out, her rescheduling process isn't the best by far. Instead of trying to provide some level of empathy for my concerns, Nicole basically told me she's a groomer not a vet. "You should know your dog is matted". This was her EXCUSE for the HIDEOUS cut she gave my dog. When I asked if she saw she'd have to cut so much of his hair off why didn't she call me before doing it ( I was working out of town when she came), she replied that she actually charges more for matted dogs but she didn't charge me. LOL as if she did me a favor!!! I advised her that's not good business for her. If my dog requires extra time or service you should by all means be PAID and you SHOULD NOTIFY me. All in all Nicole seemed to be having a BAD day when she came out to groom. Apparently, she was pressed for time and became irritated that OUR gate was locked when she was finished. Mind you my niece came out to collect my dog literally within 1 min of her texting me he was done. I know because I was watching the cameras. The camera at the front gate caught all of the FIERY ATTITUDE she had to give. She was LIVID that the gate was locked ( As it ALWAYS IS). She always calls or texts when done for me to collect my dog. That day was no different from any other time she's come out to groom. Here's a tip for you NICOLE...don't own your own business if you aren't prepared to pick up the slack WITH A SMILE! YOU CHOSE this as your profession, things happen...employees quit but business must go on. Also, speaking badly about your employees/ex employees, only makes YOU look EVEN WORSE! Needless to say we will NEVER use Cradled Pups again!

I was hesitant to review because I don't want George to get too busy for my Dva but that's not fair to George or all you pet owners looking for a great spa or great day care for your furry family members. Grooming experience: I've done the whole package. Her breath was so fresh after a teeth brushing and her over all scent was like a baby powdery scent but not quite. I don't know what it is smell wise but it smells good. I don't know how long it lasts because my dog loves to swim and jumps in as soon as she gets home We've also enjoyed the day care services. When we say fun day with George, Dva literally jumps with joy. She's happy when she arrives and good and tired when she comes home. Give Pawllywood a try. You won't be disappointed.

I argued with her over the price, pointing out her own sign on the wall. For a medium size dog the price for a bath is $40 - $50. She refused to tell me what a her standards for a mediun size dog were. Most places it's 25 - 45 or 50 lbs. she insisted I pay $60, a large dog price. I started to leave & she gave in. When I went to pick him up, she told me the next time would be $60 I took him in a second time & paid the $60. The third time I took him in, she charged me $65. nAt that point, Id had enough, No more, I found someone else who is true to their word & whose prices are reasonable.

I even provided a picture that I showed her in the person and I sent the exact picture to their phone as reference. In addition to telling them specifically how I wanted my dog's face cut I also explained how I didn't want the hair above his nose to be shaved down due to the fact I hated that look and I wanted the round cut. She assured me that was fine since he had more than enough hair. I come to pick him up ( 3+hours later) and his cut is the EXACT WAY I SAID I DID NOT WANT IT!!!I asked why did they cut it that way and her reason was because she forgot. How do you forget the specific instruction on a cut of a paying customer. I explained it and left a picture for her to just cut my dog the way she felt she wanted to cut him. I expressed how I hated it and I should be compensated. This experience was horrible. A groomer is someone you should trust to listen to you and provide a service. I will NEVER return. I left in tears because my request was not unreasonable and all I got was that she forgot! That is totally unacceptable!! Once my review was posted and the owner replied, I then get a text with the following reply which is a complete LIE! I asked more than once if it was due to my puppy being hyper and was told it wasn't NOT. Hime being hyper wasn't even mentioned until they tried to go around the fact that she simply forgot to cut him as I requested. No accountability and no responsibility on their part in FORGETTING ( her exact words) to respect my request on a cut. I would rather them just apologize than to try and cover it up or make "better" by lying. I left a review to others to see my experience and to be careful. I would have more respect if they replied with accountability and the fact that they should listen better and communicate better.

The girl that works there could barely explain the package options much less answer any questions I asked. She left much to be desired in terms of professionalism and politeness.
