I was hesitant to review because I don't want George to get too busy for my Dva but that's not fair to George or all you pet owners looking for a great spa or great day care for your furry family members. Grooming experience: I've done the whole package. Her breath was so fresh after a teeth brushing and her over all scent was like a baby powdery scent but not quite. I don't know what it is smell wise but it smells good. I don't know how long it lasts because my dog loves to swim and jumps in as soon as she gets home We've also enjoyed the day care services. When we say fun day with George, Dva literally jumps with joy. She's happy when she arrives and good and tired when she comes home. Give Pawllywood a try. You won't be disappointed.

I argued with her over the price, pointing out her own sign on the wall. For a medium size dog the price for a bath is $40 - $50. She refused to tell me what a her standards for a mediun size dog were. Most places it's 25 - 45 or 50 lbs. she insisted I pay $60, a large dog price. I started to leave & she gave in. When I went to pick him up, she told me the next time would be $60 I took him in a second time & paid the $60. The third time I took him in, she charged me $65. nAt that point, Id had enough, No more, I found someone else who is true to their word & whose prices are reasonable.

All three of my dogs have VERY different grooming needs, and the Shugrem staff has been very attentive to what we request for our fur babies. My border collie would get her fur shaved shorter, my husky just gets a deshedding (I emphasize this every time I take my girls), and the chihuahua...gets a bath . When u pick them up they all smell AMAZING, are super happy, and exhausted from the fun they've had. The staff is extremely friendly and truly cares about your animals. I've learned to be as detailed as possible when giving instructions, so I get exactly when I'm looking for. I will be returning to Shugrem for as long as I have fur babies!

You can immediately feel the difference under the new leadership - there's a near-palpable increase in the level of quality care and standards. The owner genuinely treats the pets like they're her own. The way she interacted with my dog set my mind at ease and really made me smile. I've boarded my pup at places before where it felt very methodical, but this experience was completely different. From the start, I felt like I was leaving my dog with family. I got updates while I was away, which gave me so much peace of mind. The part that shocked me was that when I picked her up, she was happy to see me but she kept playing like she wasn't quite ready to leave! That has never happened. Animals pick up on genuine love and affection, and that's what I'm confident she received while I was away. She clearly made new friends and had a great time. Preppy Pet didn't just watch my dog, they truly cared for her. They paid attention to her personality, not just her feeding schedule. They understood separation anxiety and what it must feel like for the pet, and didn't just cater to that but went above and beyond to make my dog happy - words can't express how that felt. The mental and emotional wellbeing of our pets is often overlooked in boarding, but at Preppy Pet West Houston, it seemed to be a priority. If you love your dog like family, this is the place to bring them. The new leadership got it right and I'm so grateful I found them - I can't recommend them enough! Thanks again Preppy Pet!!

The girl that works there could barely explain the package options much less answer any questions I asked. She left much to be desired in terms of professionalism and politeness. She wasn't terrible but seemed like a moody teenager who didn't really want to be there (which could very well be the case) but can I please get a smile and some complete sentences occasionally? The dogs always seemed stressed when I picked them up but the girl insisted that I had to leave them almost all day for a basic groom. I decided not to go back after I went to pick them up last time and there were urine puddles in the dog area that she wasn't even aware of. If they hired someone else, I would consider going back.

The owner is amazing to deal with, but her helpers are less than caring and treat me like I'm a strange off the street begging for money. Something changed with that place as over the last 2 years. They have been treating my dogs like FedEx packages. A few times I would drop my dog off at the appointed time @ 08:00 then get a call 8 hours later @ 16:00 telling me that my dog is done. Today I had a 10:00 appointment for my cocker spaniel. Unexpected traffic and I walked through the door @10:06 to be met by one of the non-smiling, obviously not wanting to be there, helpers. This helper was quick to tell me that my dog would be last, stuck in a cage for 6 hours and then tortured for an hour by this angry individual. I told this sour individual, "I have been coming to Cute and Sassy for over 10 years. I walk through the door 6 minutes late and you are going to penalize me? Put my dog last? 6 minutes?!?! Leave my dog in this hell for 7 hours?!?! No way. I will use someone else from now on." This helper could care less about the business and said, "Okay, whatever." She was firm and would not budge. No compromise what so ever. Anyway, if you do go here I hope you have a better experience that I. I hate to break a 10 year relationship, but I'm done with them.
