I lived upstairs from this lady for about 6 months and now that I am moved out I am comfortable setting this review. This old grumpy lady will yell at any and every dog that comes into her "care". I planned on asking her to sit my dog while I was away from vacation but after hearing the obscenities that she screamed from her deck at those poor dogs I want to do everything I can to make sure she dosnt get any more business again. All you ever smell from her property is cigarette smoke so good luck getting that smell off your animal! I could not sleep with my window open without hear this pissed off old woman in the morning yelling at some very sweet looking dogs. We have used A pet Lover's Sitting and Grooming Service twice this fall 2021. Both times, they have been very dependable and performed specialized feeding instructions on the first visit for our cat that had an active urinary track infection, including giving medicine. They also gave a report after each visit and added photos of our pets to assure us they were being well taken care of. They check your mail and take the trash cans to the street for trash pickup if requested. We were very pleased with their service and plan to continue to use them in the future. read more

After getting completely frustrated with my cats having days of anxiety after being boarded when we traveled longer than a few days, I started to look for a pet-sitter that could visit every other day to give my oldest cat her Cosequin for arthritis and have them still enjoy the comforts of home while we were away. Since then, my aging dog has developed severe skin allergies and would always require a vet visit with antibiotics and steroids after being boarded when we were away so we've now expanded to even having A Pet Lover's take care of my needy Boston terrier as well. The owner, Tina, is extremely flexible and responsive even when my request for the petsitting service is last-minute. I also had a trip last year when our return flight was canceled and I had to get in touch with Tina to make sure we could extend the service until we returned. If you love your pets, stay away from these people, please! We have 3 cats and paid them to come in 2 times per day, morning and evening, for a week. Fortunately our alarm system shows when people go in and out. The first 2 days they came it noon and 1:30 pm for their "morning" visit. After I called them about it, they started coming in at 11, which wasn't much better. All their visits lasted 5-10 minutes, despite the contract saying they would spend 30 minutes. When I called them about it they got confrontational and told me they were professionals and didn't need more than 5 minutes. One of my cats is on a special diet and if she doesn't get fed the correct food she gets the runs really bad. When we got home, she had the runs worse than ever before. I had my neighbor go in and check on the cats cause I was worried, and the litter box, which is in a closet, was placed in such a way that the cats couldn't get in it. When we got home, there were piles of poop and urine stains all around it, and also on the couch and beanbag in the living room. My cats have NEVER done that, not even when they were kittens. We called them and asked for them to pay the cleaning bill for the couch and beanbag and we got hung up on. Again, if you love your pets, please do not hire these horrible people. They will take your money and torture your babies! read more
