I got the best spray tan at Cabo Tan in Libertyville!…read more This was the fourth place I tried after trying to find my new go to place. I wanted somewhere that was reasonably priced, easy to get into, provided a good color and sprayed by hand vs a machine. I used to go to another place in Mundelein that was also a hair salon but getting an apt was always so difficult but they did offer a spray by hand. However, the last few times I tried to go I couldn't get it. So I tried another place where the woman would come to your house but I didn't like the tan (could barley see anything) and it was so pricey. Then I tried LA Tan and I came out looking like I just went to the Jersey Shore. So I've finally found my place- Cabo Tan!!!!The owner is very sweet & helpful. The tan itself was literally the best I've ever had. I looked perfectly tan and it lasted the entire trip even after spending four days in the ocean. Apparently they have some secret tanning solution that no other shop uses and is better quality than the versa spa solution. Go give this place a try!

The bed was clean and the bulbs were great, I would definitely return again in the future. Only thing I would change is the tanning packages, it would be nice if there was a 1 month package versus "units"

Service is a hit or miss some of the girls are very friendly others are just there to check you in. One of the employees was unable to tell me the difference between the open sun and high pressure beds. Room 8 door does not lock properly. Room 3 tanning bed facial bulb is out. I just got a 30 day package deal that was 50% for tanning and I am pleased with the price so I'll update my review at the end of this experience with service from the staff and the quality of beds, rooms, and overall salon.

Being able to book online is such a life saver. I originally booked a blowout, but my stylist looked at my hair and decided that since it was just washed the night before, it'd be better to not re-wash & just style & pivoted the entire appointment. MAJOR points for that one because my hair never holds the style. The shop vibe is so friendly & you can tell that everyone there is actually enjoying their work - even super early on a Saturday morning & I feel like that says a lot. My hair was beautiful, the service was super fast, AND it held through a night of sweaty wedding dancing outside. Will for sure come here next time I need event hair done.

Denna was fast, incredibly detailed and gave so much information. I knew exactly how to prep and care for my skin afterwards. HIGHLY recommend her body balm. I took it with me on my trip and it was great for after sun exposure and my dry skin. My spray showed up and looked natural. Not too bad of a smell (I'm super smeller, partner said he couldn't smell anything more than a faint scent). The best part was it didn't come off splotchy and just faded away. Highly recommend 10/10

It turns out that she got injured, and ended up starting her own business. If you subtract Sabrina and my experiences with her, my experiences with the salon were meh at best. The front desk staff was never really friendly (I got the impression I was bothering them?). It was incredibly frustrating that they didn't take credit cards, and that this wasn't very clear on their website. I went here for Sabrina Tucker. Without her, there wasn't a lot of redeeming aspects of the salon. While waiting for an appointment, I was asked to move so they could take a photo of a different client's hair. It felt weird, and like they should have a designated spot for photos that would require asking waiting clients to move. It honestly made me feel less valuable than the person be photographed (I was asked to move across the room). Also, the more I think about it, the more upset I am that when my partner came in for a men's haircut from Kevin, he left INJURED. That's not OK. I mentioned it to the front desk staff when at my appointment after the last update, and I didn't even get an apology. Not OK. Not OK at all. If you're a fan of Sabrina Tucker and her work, you can find her under my other reviews, as I recently got a cut from her (that I love!).
