I absolutely love this business and all the services they offer, especially the Beauty Angel red light therapy. My skin has never looked so good, and it has helped me physically, emotionally and mentally! I highly recommend this business. Jason, Candy, Hailey and Dannie (when she worked there) are so friendly, knowledgeable and topnotch and care a lot about their customers and provide the best services! The lady was not friendly whatsoever, While I was waiting to get checked into a bed without a greeting even, she left me without saying anything and walked around the counter and opened the front door to yell at a couple " THAT DOES NOT GO THERE!!! PUT YOUR CART WHERE IT GOES i DO NOT NEED IT HITTING MY CAR." Very unprofessional! Then when back to assist me did not apologize or anything for leaving me stand there. I did take the time to turn around and the couple had put the cart in a crossing not even near a car in the parking lot, so I am not too sure this is a friendly place I will go back to. read more

They have a new bed and it is awesome! I have never been in a tanning bed that keeps you so cool! It is really user friendly. Candy and Dannie are So knowledgeable and friendly. I went in for the first time today and met Candy. She was fantastic. Candy was super knowledgeable, friendly, and warm. She helped me pick a tanning package that would work best for my needs as well as a lotion too. She explained daily specials, offered information on the three types of sunless tanning they offer and throughly explained the different beds. Key West Tan was bright, clean and comfortable. It did not feel like a pretentious tanning club nor a worn out 1990s tanning store. It is the perfect spot to stop at, say hi and get yourself a nice glow. I enjoyed my first visit and am looking forward to coming back, getting a great summer glow, as well as doing to custom sunless spray soon. read more

Woah! This was the best tanning experience I have ever had. I've been to many different salons and this is by far the BEST one I've been to! Candy is AMAZING and she helped answer all of my questions. I typically don't ask many questions because at most salons the employees aren't too friendly. This location should be grateful to have such an amazing employee and should consider giving her a raise. I too find their lotions INSANELY over priced. I was looking fora regular lotion without a bronzer. The lady behind the counter brought me to the wall of lotions and immediately pointed out one that was $80!! Eight-zero! This seemed incredibly expensive for a standard lotion with no bronzer. They only had one other option on the wall and it wad the same price. The lady suggested I purchase a single packet because their "2014" lotions were coming in the next week. OK, sure. Wait it's $10 for a packet? Yeah no thanks. While she was fumbling around the singles, on the checkout counter guess what I found! A $35 bottle of bronzer free lotion! Sold. But why didn't she tell me about it? One would wonder... Besides the lotion issues, I find it clean and nice looking. They have XM radios in all the rooms. But the rooms I've used so far, the volume button doesn't work on any of the radios! Good thing it's only a 20 minute bed. Pretty boring with no music! read more

I can't say enough nice things about my experience at Key West Tan. After I made a mistake in the Versa Tanning Bed the owner, Jason, was kind enough to go above and beyond to fix my error with the hand held air brush tan at no additional cost. I was blown away by his customer service. This happened at closing time and Jason (and Audrey, front desk) were so nice and helpful. Worst experience ever! The manager had so much attitude a few months ago so I decided to cancel. I joined a gym with tanning so there was no point for the two memberships. She was disgusted by the fact that I would take advantage of the one at the gym. She made me fill out a 30 or 60 day notice to cancel and I was even annoyed with still having to pay because of the poor service but went a head because she was such a headache to deal with. Months later I am still getting charged. I called and she has no paperwork and offered to do a 30 day cancel now?? Really??? Haven't been there in months. Continued to get the poor customer service and attitude and didn't offer to credit anything back. I can believe a business can get away with such fraud! read more

I really like this place. The beds are great! I've been to several tanning salons in the area and the beds are by far the best here. The place is clean too and the employees are friendly and helpful. I didn't buy lotion here, because I know tanning lotion is ALWAYS expensive if you get the good stuff at the tanning place. Definitely not just this place. But a bottle usually lasts long, so it isn't that big of a deal. I can go through a bottle of regular lotion at home in a week or two, but tanning lotion lasts me months. So it makes sense to invest in the better stuff. Or get it from a reputable place online. Anyways, I would definitely recommend this place. read more

It was a little hard to find since I'm not from the immediate area but now that I know where it is, it's worth the drive from Algonquin. I was at Key West tan today, the staff was very informative and knowledgeable about all of the lotions and packages. All of the upgrades that have been implemented are outstanding!! I was in the Gold bed today and it was very comfortable. I can't wait to try out the Platinum bed, which looks really cool. It is the cleanest tanning salon I have been to in a long time. People complaining about the lotions being overpriced have clearly never gone to any other tanning salons. Even crappy LA TAN sells their lotions for like 5 times what they are worth. Buy your lotion on Amazon for reasonable price and you're good to go. Anyways, they have always been nice here. Beds are always clean and they usually aren't terribly busy where you have to wait for a particular bed. I do feel like their membership is overpriced but it's close to my house so I deal with it. I have also met the owner, she was talking to me when I signed up and she was super nice and helpful. read more

This place is horrible, way too high priced, tanning packets not enough to cover body, girl working there not very knowledgeable about the tanning lotions and I complained and the girl was basically like "whatever"the tanning bed itself was supposed to be top of the line .NOT!
