Our kids gave us a gift certificate for the Privato-In-Home experience. We had never heard of Privato, so weren't sure what to expect. It was FABULOUS! We had a dinner for 10 and it was all beyond our expectations. From the charcuterie board, to the finale -- a delicious chocolate tart -- Chef Michael did beautiful presentations and described in detail what was being served. Chef Michael and his team (Chef Rob and Server Karen) were outstanding! We had a dinner for 15 people, and from booking to the big night we were so impressed. He was so accommodating while we were planning the menu to factor in dietary restrictions and to make each course exactly what we wanted. We were staying in an Airbnb and weren't sure what the kitchen would have... but not to worry, because Michael brings everything he needs. He even ran out before service started to pick up napkins because we didn't have any at the house. I hired Privato for a dinner party of 5. My friend was visiting the area from Dallas with her sisters (for sisters 50th birthday) and instead of meeting them out I wanted to eat a nice meal at home. Privato was super flexible, great communication and easy to coordinate a menu for our taste. On date of event, Chef Michael was prompt, well prepared, communicated, brought printed menus for the place setting, prepared our courses, served us, cleaned up, saved the leftovers in the fridge for me and even started the dishwasher. I must admit we had drank way too much wine by the time he left, but he did a great job giving us the experience I was looking for before he snuck out. You would have never known from the look of my kitchen that such a nice meal had been prepared. I am new to the area but in previous locations liked to hire chefs to cook in my home.
