Immediately a man who was working on someone else began yelling my way that I would need to book extra dry time on top of my appointment and that it was gonna cost some amount I dont recall. He was not polite, he didnt greet me. He was yelling. And he made no inquiries about my daughter or her hair. Little did he know my daughter does not look like me, is not the same race as me, nor does she have my same hair type. But he didnt stop to ask what type of hair she had. He made a host of assumptions and rudely and aggressively communicated them. He also assumed that the extra charge would be some kind of problem for me. I asked him to explain again because I couldn't figure out what point he was trying to make to which he said that he "cant have his girls going over into the next booking slot and he didnt want me to be surprised when they charged me extra". Again very aggressively, not polite, frankly it seemed like he didnt want me to book. I was a little taken aback so I turned to one of the ladies and asked her to just tell me what I need to do. I then booked what I had called for. And left but Immediately canceled when I got home because I just didnt like the vibe and attitude from that man. The appointment started promptly, which was great. However that was the only thing great at this appointment. After washing my hair, Carly informed me that the quoted price included 3oz of product and any additional product needed would be $90/oz. Carly said she would try to stretch the product and may only need 1 additional ounce. I consented. Carly proceeded to apply the product to my hair in sections and added the additional ounce when needed. Then told me she needed a 2nd additional ounce on top of the 1st additional ounce. I consented because the service was already underway and product was in my hair but I wasn't very happy with the bait and switch pulled. After that instead of blow drying my hair as is the next step in a traditional keratin treatment service, she proceeded to rinse out the product from my wet hair... the additional product that I paid $180 on top of the quoted price for because she said she needed it. Seems like a ploy to upcharge the service and make more commission. Anyway she blow dried my hair after rinsing the product out then proceeded to flat iron my hair in sections rather quickly and distractedly as she was constantly texting on her phone. After the service was complete she didn't recommend any post care instructions and still seemed distracted by something on her phone. Overall the service and professionalism could have been much better. I really wanted to like this salon since I'm new to the area.
