Angela was pretty booked for color, so I scheduled a haircut with her first to get in a bit sooner and see if she would be a good fit for me. Before my appt, I also sent photos of my Inspiration haircolors/styles via text and in turn, she had me send her current pics of my hair and a summary of my color history. What I loved and appreciated was Angela's honesty and frankness. She didn't sugar coat anything and based on photos alone questioned if my hair was even healthy enough to withstand another bleach transformation to achieve the look of my inspiration pics. On the day of my haircut appt- she assessed the damage and confirmed my hair wasn't healthy enough at that time to get the results I was looking for with color and it would probably break if I bleached it again this soon. Not what I wanted to hear- but it is what it is...and I had consulted with another stylist prior at a different salon who essentially said the same thing. Angela spent a long time with me listening to my hair goals and examining my hair and we came up with a game plan focused on improving the health of my hair in preparation for my Inspiration pics. Loved the haircut and the vibes w/ Angela and the salon so I excitedly scheduled an appt a month out for the color. What Angela did was amazing! The brassiness/orange/warm tones disappeared, my grays were gone, and with a B3 treatment felt soft, healthy and had amazing shine. I was so impressed I booked her for the same thing again! I am beyond thrilled to have found a new salon and stylist with Angela at Shenanigans. She is super kind, professional, on time, upfront and talented. I requested a hair cut for "long hair" and the price was 75.00 not including my tip. I cut a little over a foot of hair off. WHAT I REQUESTED: hair length in between my collar bone and above my chest. Daniel suggested what length would fit my needs. I requested NO LAYERS IN THE BACK. Face framing bangs (because I often blow out my hair) and Daniel made the decision to blend my face framing bangs to the length of my hair. I received a wash, blow dry, and blow out. I am providing photos of my hair before (from the back) and my hair post cut and styled. Daniel was super attentive to all the things I wanted in the cut, even factored in some events I was going to have in the coming months and what styles I can achieve if my hair were to grow out a bit more. Ariel comes in and has an appointment with the lady who was sitting next to me. She sees me there and asks me if I needed help.
