I have been going to Amy for almost two years. She never disappoints. Any time I have gone to her, I leave feeling more beautiful than when I came in. Initially found Amy on Yelp to get my hair styled for a wedding in 2018. Now... 4 years later she is the only individual I trust touching my hair because she has always left me coming out feeling incredible ! I honestly cannot say enough good things about Amy, she is a lifesaver and complete hair goddess!!! I first went to Amy in June of this year after a horrific hair bleaching incident, (as in I bleached my own hair at home from magenta to attempted platinum blonde, 2x. I fried my hair, looked like a baby chick and had a full on meltdown believing my hair was beyond repair, tragic I know) I searched yelp for someone to help and ended up being recommended Amy by someone. I sent her a message and got a reply almost instantly, which has been consistent with all our communication throughout my experience. Amy not only saved my hair but created a beautiful ash blonde, my hair was left a beautiful silky texture compared to the dry crispiness it was prior, without having to chop it all. Literally was in shock with how great it felt. I went back a month later to touch up the color and my roots and once again she worked magic and I had dream Barbie blonde hair. Amy is easy going, relaxed, funny and professional! I used to go to her when she lived in LA but lost touch when she moved to Riverside. I'm so glad that she was able to come down for my wedding! I met Amy 8 years ago when she did my hair for my wedding. At that time I had super long hair and I hadn't had it cut in years before I met her. My hair is thick, curly, unruly, and I have a lot of it. With that kind of hair I can't trust just anybody. As I mentioned, I had super long hair when I got married and Amy did an amazing job! I actually think I made her job harder. On the actual day I only had a vague idea of what I wanted and no pictures. When she was done it looked beautiful! After the wedding I went back to her for a haircut. I mentioned how I always wanted short hair because I thought it would be easier to manage. I told her I made two attempts to cut it short in the past and how I left both chairs in tears. At first she would just trim it and flat iron straight, which I loved. As we got to know each other she would tell me my hair would look amazing short. When I agreed to cut it short she took baby steps with me because she knew how nervous I was. The first time she cut about half off, just to cut off a Japanese straightener I had done. It went from there and now I have the most awesome short hair that I can wear curly or straight.
