FINALLY I was able to find a dry bar in brea! I was a little unprepared by calling the day before thanksgiving to see if I can get squeezed in, I spoke to Natalie who was over the top kind to say "cmon on in!" The blowout lounge is in the phoenix suits conveniently located right next to target. When I walked in Natalie was over the top helpful and handed me a menu and asked what I was looking for. I showed her a picture and we were on our way of getting washed. The blowout it self was super quick I would say I was in and out in about an hour. I wasn't paying attention to what products were used but my hair smelled great for days and even better my blowout lasted for 4 days! I'm sure I could have went longer because it looked great but tmi I get a little greasy. I def recommend Natalie at the blowout lounge for your styling needs! read more

First let me say that with Covid it's been extremely hard on stylist, and beauty professional. I totally respect that the beauty industry has been through a lot during Covid. However that doesn't excuse that two clients and a stylist were NOT wearing masks at all. There were three stations in probably less than a 10 foot room, there was zero social distancing, I was so close to the client next to me that I could touch her feet, there was no sanitizer, no temperature checks, they didn't ask me any questions if I was sick or if I been anywhere. They took zero precautions required by the state to get your hair done or be in a beauty parlor. It was extremely unsanitary and when I called to say something, the stylist that answer the phone made no effort to rectify the situation or explain the lack of precaution taken And said that her clients didn't care. I never paid to get my hair blow dried I thought coming from out of town would be good experience however it was a waste of $40 which isn't that much. the stylus was nice despite the fact that there was no precaution, sanitation or anything happening to prevent the spread of Covid. I'm extremely disappointed in this business and it should not be allowed to stay open with this precaution. There was no airflow anywhere there was a door open into a hallway that had no open air anywhere. I can deal with unprofessionalism if it's a clean environment nothing about this environment was clean and sanitary or per regulations. read more

I was mourning the loss of my favorite blow-out salon when, by chance, I found out that several of the stylists opened their own section in the Phoenix Salons by Brea's Target. While I typically book with Natalie, I have seen the work the other two women do, and I would feel equally comfortable trusting them with my thick, super-wavy hair. I love love this place. I've been coming to Laura for years, starting at a previous salon that's no longer open. She always gets my hair so smooth and my blow out lasts for nearly a week!
