i had my new customer curly cut with kaela on 5/10. i came across kaela on yelp and was impressed by her reviews and customer photos. i easily booked my appointment through her website on 4/25 with an appointment date of 5/10. i'm happy she had availability on the weekend or else i would have been out of luck. i drove up from hb to fullerton and found ample parking outside the studio. her space was tidy and welcoming, her vibe was very relaxed. she listened to my desired haircut outcome and did an absolutely fantastic job. i think we chopped off 9 inches total and she added dimension and layers to my lifeless curls. i'm so thankful to kaela and her clear talents. i plan on booking another appointment 3-4 months from now for a touch up. i highly recommend kaela! read more

I rarely wrote reviews on Yelp. However, I really wish to share this great experience. I just had an appointment with Kaela. I am naturally wave ( mostly just frizzy lol) and always love bouncy curly hair so I have permed hair on and off over the years. Most recent perm was from last winter and it left my hair so dry I felt not very confident for a few months and just been trying to hydrate and keeping it as healthy as I could. Lately my hair really needs a trim to get rid of the damaged ends and I was hoping it could look healthy and voluminous again. Kaela completely transformed my hair!!! Before I saw her, I had so many issues with my hair. It was hard to style, my layers were messed up, and my curl pattern was all over the place. I used to get my hair cut at a previous salon. Although that salon was beautiful and my previous hairdresser was very kind, she didn't know how to cut my curly hair properly hence the uneven cut I used to have. In general, I was very hesitant about going to see a curly hairstylist because I didn't know my hair needed more attention. But after seeing Kaela, I'm so grateful I made the appointment. The entire process with Kaela was beautiful and amazing. She discusses how you want your hair cut then does a dry cut.
