I'm someone who expects to spend the full day at the salon since my hair is thick and it takes about 6-7 hours to get this type of work done. I go in every 6 months and will bring work with me or something to kill time when I'm waiting around for processing and if she happens to run late. I have never, ever written anything negative about anyone in my entire life, but my compassion for…read morepeople like me - clients like me who pay good money for hair extensions have got to be forewarned about this woman. First, I will tell you that the State License Board of Barber and Hair are investigating this woman not only for performing illegal hair practices in people's homes, but also for fraud. The Police labeled her as an individual that falsely advertises and is criminal by "deception for profit". My experience with her is short. She came to my home, installed hair extensions and they came out the very next day IN PUBLIC. She agreed to return my money and never did. On top of this, she is a nasty, nasty person! She left me threatening text messages to press charges against me for harassment, when all I wanted was the money I paid her back. The Police also said that she lied about an officer coming and taking a report on me, because I was just asking for my money back. The Police officers words were "there is no way an officer would come out and take a report from her, because the first thing they will ask her is "why is this woman contacting you?" and she would had to have said that she is contacting me because she wants her money back and I agreed to refund it and haven't". If any of you would like to see the text messages between she and I - I am happy to send them to you. In addition she accused me of lying about the hair coming out. What she failed to realize is that she had three (3) opportunities to rectify the problem, and all three times she was a no show. Had she kept any one of them, she would have seen first hand the terrible, terrible job she did. The salons (one in Fullerton and one in Tustin) she claims to work at as a front - tells me that she is a problem employee and she has a reputation of being extremely non-professional. She is always, extremely late to her appointments and I have two witnesses that says she never even showed up, after they spent a ton of money on hair and tubes. Amongst witnesses that had the same exact problem that I had. I have two options to getting my money back. I can pay 50.00 and take her to court, or I can just show up anywhere she is, no matter where she is with a Police Officer and retrieve my money that way. Either way - I will get my money back using the law on my side. If any of you reading this would like to see the photos /video I took of the weft coming out, and the tubes sliding down the hair as I walked, I am happy to send them to you. You do not have to take my word for it, but please, please do your research. This woman does not know how to do hair extensions, she is really strange and according to Paul Mitchell School of Hair they do not have any records of her teaching at any of their schools!

Came in for a cut and a Brazilian blowout today. I originally wanted to do a Japanese permanent straightening but I guess I mixed the two up. Mary made light of this and told me the two are different. I've had the permanent straightening done before but didn't know what I was thinking. I asked if she could do the permanent straightening at that point. She said she could but would have to order the product and it will take about a week for her to receive it. She then asked if I wanted to do that instead. I said it's okay and decided to just give the Brazilian blowout a try to see. I was already there and Mary was already washing and shampooing my hair. I didn't want to waste her time since the spot was originally reserved for me. During the process I was still a little hesitant. Hesitant no longer because it turned out absolutely amazing! She did everything I requested which was to go short and thin out my hair. She really took her time to make sure everything came out perfect. Almost towards the end of the process we both thought about how we should've taken a before and after picture because it was a major transformation. You can tell she really loves what she does and puts her all in it because she says she loves the feeling of the instant gratification she gets when someone transforms by just a new do. Having tight curly hair it's hard to find a stylist that understands how to cut curly hair and I alway leave her feeling beautiful. Mary can give you a creative and edgy (from platinum to purple) or a natural look. She is also great at helping you come up with a look that you can manage on your own. I also give Brazilian blowouts 5 stars! They last 3 months. My hair is shiny and frizz free! The only product I put in my hair is the Brazilian blowout balm/hot tool protectant and it takes me 10 minutes to blowdry and flat iron for perfect finish. My natural hair will take at least 45 minutes (on a good day) and will still get frizzy! I'm so unbelievably happy I found Mary and she's in Fullerton. Brazilian blowouts for life!!
