Alena, who did our hair, was simply phenomenal. She carefully walked through the inspo photos we provided and made thoughtful suggestions based on our face shapes and event needs. I told her I wanted volume at the crown, but still needed a style that would hold all night long--and wow, did she deliver. My hair stayed perfectly in place for 12+ hours, with lightweight hairspray that didn't feel stiff and a secure yet gentle hold using bobby pins. Alena's approach was kind, open, and collaborative, and her execution was perfection. I truly felt beautiful and comfortable the entire night. Mercedes, who did our makeup, was equally amazing. She matched our references exactly--giving my daughter a fresh, natural glow, and giving me a smoky glam look with a subtle shadow wing that was elegant and dramatic without being overdone. She even added a touch of body oil on exposed areas for that extra touch of radiance! Her attention to detail and commitment to making us feel confident and camera-ready was incredible. I found Thomas Edward Salon on Yelp after looking for a solid dry bar style service in Temecula. I recently moved from LA and was spoiled. There was always a Dry Bar nearby home or my office. It was predictable and dependable for special occasions and weekly blow outs as I'm terrible at doing my hair. I asked around everywhere online, FB Mom's groups. I guess it's not common here like it is in LA. Anyways, had a quick chat on Yelp with the salon and booked an appointment for a blow out and makeup for my outdoor maternity photo shoot. Michele did both my hair and makeup for me. She was excellent. She needed little direction from me at all. She knew exactly what I wanted and executed perfectly. She's great! I was impressed. I will definitely return. As a newbie to the area, I didn't know but if you come here on a Saturday be prepared to park far away at City Hall and walk over. I absolutely RECCOMMENDED services at Thomas Edwards salon and dry bar. The owner is so accommodating and pleasant. She takes personal attention if you happen to reach her for appointments and always works around my schedule to give me what is best for me Michelle , who has worked on my hair doing fabulous blowouts is also very good at what she does listens to all my concerns and wishes shows up extra early just for me when neededand does a fabulous job. I must say I'm very picky and I want my hair just a certain way and she's very willing to listen and adjust to my wishes. My hair is very long and it doesn't curl very well unless you take the time and attention. Overall, everyone in the salon that I have met is very pleasant very professional. They know their craft and they are very accommodating. If you have a special occasion or a wedding or just want to treat yourself, I highly recommend! Jen, you are an absolute rockstar. I haven't had my hair done in literally years. I had been box dying at home (I know, cringe) and wasn't getting haircuts often. There's always this mom guilt when I spend money on myself. After seeing Jen Camacho's Instagram page (@fabhairbyjen), I knew I needed her touch. I'm huge on who you let do your hair, I feel like it's such a huge energy transfer but I felt good about this. My hair was long and stringy, dyed black from the box dye. I was greeted by a beautiful smile from Jen, she was glowing. She was so gentle the entire time, didn't rush AT ALL. Her nails felt amazing when she was washing my hair, by the way. She was open about everything she was doing to my hair. I was offered a water, coffee or mimosa. I got a mimosa, followed by a coffee and amazing cookie to dip in it. I visited this salon to get a blowout while I was in town for a wedding. The location was a little bit difficult to find as it was on the second floor of a gift shop type building. The inside is pretty small, only about 5 workstations and two shampoo bowls. It does have a cute, western small town feel to it though. The price was pretty reasonable and it was easy to make an appointment over the phone. During your service they offer coffee, tea, water or mimosas. They also have some small snacks in the waiting area.  Christine did my blowout for me and it looked great. She was super friendly and recommended some places for me to check out while I was in town. Don't use these company!! iPer the owner the bride was forced under a verbal contract for two people me and my daughter I went there just to get a hairstyle for her wedding when I got there they told me that I had to get makeup as well when I told them that I only wanted the hairstyle for me and my daughter becase one that didn't have time and I didn't want it done they told me well the bride did a contract and if you don't get the makeup done then we will be forced to charge the bride I said no I'm paying for this ,well you need to do the make up too because we called a makeup artist / hairstylist to come in on a Sunday and we're not open on Sundays per their Google search engine it says they're open from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. I kept telling them that I will pay all money and she goes no you need to get to make up done or we will charge the bride. I tell him that the bride could not afford it and I made a comment that it's already a stressful situation that the mother in law does not want this marriage to take place so it was very stressful I told her but I will go ahead and do the makeup then and I hung up from the owner. I thought about it and text the owner and said that I am getting the makeup done too but that this is extortion and that I'm going to be leaving a bad review. After the hair and makeup got done the artist did a good job but I was very upset that I was being forced to get thevmake up even though I would have paid for the hair and makeup she's still insisted that I needed to get the makeup done as well or she'll charge the bride that money I ran an hour late cuz I still had to finish the Bridesmaids flowers for there hair. The owner did not like this so she later text the bride and caused the bride to get upset on her wedding day telling her that I spoke about that they could not afford it and that the Mother-in-law was unhappy about the marriage which the bride is the one who told me so it was pointless but she tried to upset the bride on her wedding day on purpose and then she kept texting me all night saying that well you're the one who told me so if you say anything there they're going to repeat it to the other party this is not a professional company the owner is a horrible person to deal with do not get your hair done here I could not believe that she had the nerve to call the bride and say the comments the bride and my son the groom could not afford it their the ones who told me and that's why I insisted on paying. I read many positive reviews and called to speak with Brenda. She was very warm and helpful. Brenda explained the process of a trial, the wedding day and additional things I should do to prepare. I arrived one month prior to the wedding and met with Michelle for my hair and makeup trail. I showed Michelle some picture of hair styles and makeup I liked. I visited the Thomas Edward Salon & Dry Bar in November for a Bellini updo. This was my first-ever dry bar experience. Positives: 1) The salon was able to squeeze me in for a last minute appointment. 2) My stylist was kind and easy to chat with. 3) The stylist made sure to ask me about any allergies or product restrictions before starting, and educated me about each product that she used. 4) The end result was beautiful and elegant. Negatives: 1) When the stylist turned me around for the "ta da" moment, she had given me the Sophia Rose, not the Bellini, which I had specified multiple times. She was able to fix it, but my appointment ended up lasting 75 minutes, which caused me to be late for the wedding I was attending. 2) The website says that there is an "additional fee" for the Bellini, but what it does not say is that the fee is a 70% markup. Given that a standard blowout is $38, it was quite the shock to hear my total come out to over $60 (before tip!). read more

I am very special about who cuts my hair, my normal stylist wasn't getting back to me and I was in desperate need of a cut. I reached out to Jenn and she immediately booked me, that same day of my appointment I reached out and asked if she would be able to cut my daughter's hair and she said yes! I went in for a blow dry with a deep conditioning treatment. Usually anyone can do this so I accepted the hairdresser Jennifer who had grown out roots and very greasy looking hair. She gave me a incomplete blowdry that did not straighten my baby hairs in front and left my hair looking frizzy and she put a ton of different cheap products in my hair so I walked out smelling like I sprayed on a bunch of perfume from the dollar store. When I paid on the way out, Jennifer said her blow dry price starts at 55 and her deep conditioner add on starts at $90. So my bill was $145 for a simple incomplete blow dry and deep conditioner with the cheapest products in a cheap salon. Then I called the salon to speak to the salon owner about Jennifer pulling a fast one on me bc she knew I was an out of towner from NYC and the owner never called back. I get my hair blow dryed weekly and Jennifer is the worst stylist I've seen anywhere in the country. Thomas Edward Salon is very unprofessional and a dirty salon with cheap products. They sell the Moroccan Oil line which is just okay, but they use the cheapest products for in salon services and have the least experienced and dishonest hairdressers. read more

This is a review for the bridal hair services...well, an attempt to get them. I reached out by email in November for a quote for myself and my bridal party for my September wedding, knowing that stylists book up quickly. At first, my correspondence with the Creative Director, Brenda, was fast, friendly and efficient. Then, when we got to drafting the contract, things came to grinding halt. I was constantly emailing, asking for a status update. I would be promised that I would be called "the next day" (never happened) or "emailed the contract by so-and-so date" (came 2 weeks late several times). I also had to go through several revisions of the contract because there was always a mistake in price--I would even forward the very email with the quote the Creative Director supplied me, and also copy and pasted into an email with a suggestion to just copy and paste into the contract--but still mistakes! This back-and-forth extended into January--3 months after my initial outreach. I did not feel confident in the business-end of this transaction, and I even felt worried that if things were this scattered now, would my date even be remembered? The prices are very low for typical bridal hair services, but maybe there's a reason for that. I was disappointed with my experience and just wanted to give other brides a heads up. read more
