But this time the outcome was far less than satisfactory. Why? Why would a great company go down hill (so to speak) like that? Just kept scratching my head. Well, it dawned on me that perhaps the owner is hiring apprentice electricians to help them out, which if that is the case, is great. BUT, these employees must be supervised by an experienced, competent, knowledgeable and "seasoned" electrician. What actually happened was I hired them to install quite a few ceiling fans. After the job was done the ceiling fans were making such a hideous sound, we couldn't use any of the fans! So, I phoned a very close friend whom I trusted like I used to trust Rankin, and he had to troubleshoot each fan and basically re-install each one. I sincerely hope this once wonderful company is back on top of their game like they were the first time I hired them. They were really outstanding.

He did not come down and tell me 10 things that were potentially wrong, he told me exactly what was wrong and how they were going to fix it. This was on a Friday, and they could come back out on Monday. Pete gave me an exact price and said they would be back out. I got another message from Haylie giving me an a 2 hour time estimate on when Pete would be there on Monday. Pete came on Monday, earlier than expected (when you are given a time frame, you assume they will come out in the later) he fixed exactly what he said he was going to, and also cleaned off the coils on my unit. Ken McNamee has made three or four trips to my mobile. He has found several dangerous problems…read morewith most of my plugs and light switches, which could have caused a fire, and I confirmed his findings with ChatGPT, so he never exaggerates about electric issues. He is a straight arrow. He also found that the outdoor plug wiring was done with the wrong kind of electric wire as well as being put inside PVC, which is against code. He replaced it with the proper metal conduit and proper wiring. He made sure the two outdoor plugs (there was only one plug before) would be weather proof. I am sort of OCD about things being correct and he is the same way. Pretty cool. He also figured out all of my breaker switches (with the help of his wife) so now I know what breaker switch controls what in the house and it IS all marked on the panel. He also changed out a ceiling fan that was in the kitchen, which didn't light up the kitchen well, with two ceiling LED lights that light up perfectly now. I can see what I am doing! He also replaced the light over the kitchen sink so that it is now centered properly. I can't say enough about how good of an electrician he is! You are the best, Ken!
