Had Jacob come out twice in a week, once for an issue that I thought was smoke detectors that were beeping and another time to fix an exhaust fan that quit working. He even came out on a Saturday to fix a CO2 detector that I thought was a smoke detector. He came out today to fix the exhaust fan that wouldn't work, even after a motor replacement. He adjusted the quoted price lower, according to the amount of work that was involved. I found that to be very honest and will use him for all the electrical work around my house. read more

I paid Electrical Pros $1,000 to begin an electrical panel project at my property. More than a month passed without any work being performed. I contacted them for a completion date, but the project still did not move forward, and I had to proceed with other work at the property. I told Electrical Pros on September 18 that I no longer needed their services and requested a full refund. As of this review, I have not received one. DO NOT HIRE THIS GUY. I hired Jake to install two mini-split systems and paid him an $800 deposit to get the job started. After receiving my money, he came up with excuses on why the job hasn't started. I have now gone almost a month without hearing from him. The job has not been completed, and I have been left with no answers and no way to get in contact with him. I am now having to consider taking him to small claims court to recover my $800 and filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. This has been an extremely frustrating and unprofessional experience. Taking someone's deposit and then disappearing without communication is unacceptable. I would not recommend Jake to anyone. If you're considering hiring him, I strongly recommend thinking twice and being extremely careful about paying any money upfront. read more

After reading the great reviews of this company, I called Jake from Electrical pros to come to my house to inspect some chewed up wires in my attic and ensure a safe living space. I also requested a complete report of the situation. He assured me that it would be provided later that day. However, After his inspection and paying him by check, even giving him an extra $50 for his trouble, he basically ghosted me, constantly putting off the report over text stating he would do it that evening. He finally stopped answering my calls and texts after repeated requests for the report. I guess the hard lesson here is don't pay before the job is complete, but I had higher expectations of professionalism from a company so highly rated. He took apart one outlet and said he'd be back tomorrow same time. He didn't show. I messaged him and he apologized and said he would need to reschedule but never rescheduled me. Don't feel like it should be on me to reschedule when I was here and didn't hear back he wouldn't make it the next day until I asked. Used Yelp to find someone to give us a quote on some electrical work and were lucky enough to be routed to Jake at Electrical Pros! We originally needed a quote on installing an outlet for an electric dryer that we were debating on installing. He was able to come out same day to give us an estimate and his estimate was about 40% lower than another company that gave us an estimate. We ended up not having the outlet installed at this point but while we had him there asked a few other electrical questions and asked if he knew how to install an inverter which we did need done before moving. He was able to give us a very reasonable estimate and schedule us for the following day. He arrived on time and even gave us a notice about 20min prior to his arrival that he would be en route. We added on an additional request and he got it done. Stayed true to his estimate too. We noticed a minor issue and he turned right around to fix it.
