Chris was very easy to work with and made any anxiety I initially felt disappear almost instantly. I highly recommend Chris & CV Auto Transport.

Amazing amazing amazing!!! Thank you James and Number 1 Auto transport…read more After another large auto transport company failed to pick up my vehicle during the promised pickup window (and they just kept telling me they wouldn't know when they would be able to), I was left scrambling and had to extend my rental car in California. I was even told they couldn't find a carrier in my area that could transport my car from Florida to California. After my experience, that clearly wasn't the case. I found out about Number One Auto Transport on Reddit after I saw some great reviews and filled out a form on their site Thursday night. On Friday morning James gave me a call (JAMES YOURE THE BEST!!!) & not even an hour after speaking with him, they had already found a carrier for me. They got to work immediately after our phone call, and my car was picked up that Monday (I first spoke with James on Friday). Since this was my first time shipping a vehicle, James took the time to explain exactly how the process works, listened to my situation, answered all of my questions honestly, and found me a great price (and locked in a carrier super fast). I never felt pressured or misled, I just felt genuinely taken care of. The carrier was fantastic, and both the company and the carrier were professional, responsive, and communicative throughout the entire process. My car arrived from Florida to California in perfect condition, exactly as it was when it left. After my experience with the other "big" company, i was really hesitant about putting trust into another company, but I'm glad i trusted this company. I really appreciated the honesty, transparency, and urgency that Number One Auto Transport showed. They delivered exactly what they promised. I will only use Number One Auto Transport for any future vehicle shipments and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable, trustworthy, and professional auto transport company.

Adam was referred to me by a recruiter through a mutual acquaintance. To reserve transportation for two vehicles, he required a $600 deposit, which I paid approximately six weeks in advance. Throughout that time, he repeatedly assured me that everything was on track. However, he ultimately failed to secure transportation for either vehicle. As a result, we were left scrambling to make last-minute arrangements. During the process, I felt I was repeatedly misled with assurances that the transport would be handled, when in reality no carrier had been secured. More than a week after the scheduled pickup date, only $200 of my $600 deposit was refunded, along with promises that the remaining balance would be returned. Those promises were not fulfilled. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Adam Yoslowitz or Travelers Auto Transport. If you are relying on a broker to coordinate a time-sensitive vehicle shipment, I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

I was so nervous about this shipment. I have such a busy job I didn't have time to drive my car halfway across the world. And for good reason. There are a lot of skunks out there. EATS educated me, they didn't talk crap about others, they didn't use phrenetic tactics to get me to commit... it was a good experience. I started to contract with another company, which was nothing short of fraudulent. They were pressuring me, I simply had a gut feeling that they were a mess. I called Empire, after speaking to over 15 companies. They immediately put me at ease with their sincerity and kindness. When you deal with honest people, you feel easy about it. I told the dude to think of me as his little grandmother and to treat me like that. He busted out laughing and said that he really wanted me to be happy and to provide a valuable service. I was and he did. Bottom line: If you want to be worried sick about your car for days on end, use another company. If you want to sign a contract that indemnifies the crap out of your vendor and not you, use another company. If you want to operate like you might have before there was Federal regulation on this industry, use another service. If you want a carefree and positive experience that restores your faith in mankind, use EATS. Thanks EATS.

He…read morewas super responsive and even though there were some challenges (drove to the middle of nowhere New Jersey to drop my car) it was a reasonable price compared to others. Issues were threefold: - Eric basically represented and used a facility that does its own direct auto transport. When questioned (because they were cheaper) he highlighted his business as better due to a number of factors. None of these ended up coming to fruition. - the Rando he got to transport my car was horrible. Lack of communication or updates. Ended up delivering the car two or three days later than promised (meaning I missed being able to inspect the car). And throughout the process was full of lies regarding arrival time and why he wasn't delivering on time. - car was damaged during transport but because I was out of town for 2 months after the fact and wasn't able to confirm and share this with Eric (because it was delivered late) I had no recourse for costs to fix the damage. - finally, In reviewing his end of year books, Eric got confused about a voided transaction (I had been charged twice initially and there was a void in his books). He assumed that it was me doing it due to my dissatisfaction and charged my credit card again without confirming the issue with me. He left messages while I was in a meeting and then charged my card without confirming. When I called, he apologized for his angry action but for someone who highlights professionalism amongst his traits, I feel this was way out of line. I was going to just leave things as is and not write a review and leave things as they were in August but given the action he took today I felt compelled to warn others.

My complaint is that the golf cart was damaged during transport and the actual transporter lied about the condition of the cart when it was picked up. It arrived without a windshield and with front body damage, not major but work I cannot do myself. The transporter said he would reimburse me for the windshield but when I looked closer and found the body damage, I asked for the $700 back that I paid him as that what I figured it would cost to fix. He refused so I called Ultimate Transport 123 to file a claim with them and was told (after numerous calls) that I had to file a claim against the transporter's insurance and that they would send me the information so submit against his insurance. I still have not received anything from them and they have said that since I have spam filter, they can't contact me??? All you have to do is speak your name... then the call goes through. They also have my email address. Ultimate called and left a message and I called them back just to wait on hold and then disconnected. The company I hired was Ultimate and they should be the one I contact to take care of this... they keep acting like they are attempting to help resolve this but they really are not. I didn't even ask for a full refund, just the cost of the repair!!! Do not use this company if you expect to receive your vehicle in the same condition as you sent it...

The yelp reviews all seemed good and that's why I picked this company, but it was a bad experience that cost me time and money. I spoke with Kathleen who helped me set up the everything smoothly and I was given a "guaranteed quote" to transport my car from Long Island out west. I gave her a 4 day pick up window trying to ensure the pick up happens before I have to take my flight out. She said that sounds good and they would pick it up within that time range. After calls throughout the week, they finally told me one day before my flight (this was the last day of the pickup time range) that I would need to drop off my car to New Jersey (which is a 2-hour drive) and that it would cost $200 more to ship it. At this point, I had no choice but to agree with them. It was absolutely ridiculous to make me do 5-10% of the moving and to then increase the cost by $200 (or roughly 20%). The only positive was getting my car in 7 days, the driver was good.
